Overall it was a nice stay. The house was put together well, there were plenty of sleeping accommodations for my family, the boat dock was wonderful to have in the community, and we all had a nice time making memories.

Excellent stay

The Salty Siren was a great place to stay for our family vacation! The house was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the amenities at the landings. The pool was wonderful and the community boat dock and scallop cleaning station were a huge bonus! We would definitely stay here again! The host was great answering our questions.

Best Place to Stay in Steinhatchee

We love the house and the Landing. The grandkids loved playing on the playground, petting zoo and playing in the sand at the beach volleyball court.

Spring Break Fishing

We had a wonderful stay at the Salty Siren over Spring Break! The accommodations were truly lovely — spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The beds and bedrooms were especially cozy, and the bathrooms were impressively large and well-appointed. We particularly loved the ceiling fan in the master bath — such a thoughtful touch!The oversized living room and open kitchen layout made it easy for everyone to gather and relax, and the kitchen had great pantry space for all our supplies. Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. The Salty Siren has definitely become our new favorite place to stay in Steinhatchee, and we can’t wait to return!

Scalloping in Steinhatchee

Very nice house in a charming community, with a beautiful 30 minute boat ride to the gulf. The kitchen was unfortunately very sparsely equipped but we were able to go to the dollar general down the street for a cheese grater, some plastic cups and a few other items. A few coat hangers and night stands by each side of the beds would be an appreciated touch as well. Our rental agent was very accommodating and responded quickly to our requests. All in all a very nice vacation in Steinhatchee!

Scallop Season!

There were 4 adults and the house was great, except for a double bed upstairs with a twin over it. A little uncomfortable for an adult couple. Other than that, we had a great time. We only cooked 1 meal at the house - make sure to bring spices, salt & pepper, and any special pan you would need. We enjoyed playing cards and sitting in the screened porch on the swing. Parking at the house was great. This year we hired a Captain instead of bringing our friends boat and having to mess with getting it in/out, although the facilities for parking a trailer and boat at the dock were wonderful! The only real recommendation I would make is to pay for cable. When renting a house, we expected to be able to watch tv and especially the Tampa Lightning game and spent more time trying to navigate the tv than anyone has patience for… other than that - we loved the house and would highly recommend for a family with kids! (Pool is right next door!) Thanks!

We absolutely loved staying at this property. It had everything we could need. We love staying at the Landing while in town scalloping as the community is nice and quiet. Tons of room in this home and I loved the screened in front porch. Would definitely recommend for future stays. Ami is super quick to respond as well!

Beautiful home in a great resort!

We had a great time exploring everything the resort had to offer and the house was perfect! Coffee in the morning and wine in the evening on the swing in the enclosed porch. Close to the water, pool and volleyball. Highly recommend!!

Outside of being Broker I enjoy fishing the flats, cooking for family and friends, and helping my husband with our fixer uppers. This property was purchased by a lovely couple in 2021 and they hit the ground running by making this place a little better than it already was. They added king bed, gas grill, games , tv's and wifi. Other than satellite tv this place has it all. The Landing is a family friendly community right on the Steinhatchee river and this house has views of it from the screened front porch. It's up to date, clean, comfortable and spacious.
