Experience true Flagstaff history at the Historic Rock Ranch! This 2-acre fenced-in forested oasis is hidden in the heart of town, offering privacy while being close to everything. The spacious one-bedroom, one-bathroom rustic bunkhouse has been transformed into a chic, air-conditioned retreat. Sleeps up to four in beds, with extra guests welcome for a small fee. Enjoy modern amenities in a beautifully updated historic home that blends vintage charm with contemporary comfort!



The home is nestled off of fourth street near old downtown flagstaff. The property is unique in the sense that it is a full 2-acre, private property for lots of space. You get to experience a wooded environment without having to leave city limits. The home is a single level with two (2) stairs before the front entrance of the home. After that, the home is all single level. Although the home is only one bedroom, its very spacious and roomy. The master bedroom pathway has a wide double door for easy access if you have a wheelchair. Lots of windows throughout for lots of natural lighting.



*For all stays 10 nights or longer, the cleaning fee will be double the regular amount for a deep clean after guest departure.



*There is an additional fee for having pets. Please make sure your pets are included in the reservation and the fee will automatically be applied to your stay.



Please note: The Foxtail plant is native to this area. This plant can be dangerous (but not poisonous) to animals when inhaled or consumed due to the sharp, barbed seeds. We kindly suggest inspecting your pet`s skin, fur, mouth and nose after each outing.



*Late departure fine is $35 per every 15 minutes.



*If there is an amenity that is out- of -order that is advertised in the Home’s listing, that is not available to you due to unforeseen circumstances. A 10% reimbursement of the base rate will be offered as compensation

Loved the all wood interior. It felt cozy and well built. The large property was nice especially given its proximity to Downtown Flagstaff. We went on quite a few walks around the neighborhood and it was near a very large park where you could stroll through the awesome pines they have in Flagstaff. Beds were very comfortable (firm but not hard). The layout was a bit weird but that also is part of the charm I suppose. My only gripes was the checkin was pretty late and check out was pretty early compared to other places I stayed, and there was no dedicated fire pit outside which would have made hanging out there that much more fun.

I understand everyone has their own life they are living but seems like the communication was a little slow. Was totally professional on any questions we had before and during trip but it seemed delayed in the response time. Nice place and would consider again if I’m in area again.

Very welcoming host. The house was in town and convenient to shopping and dining. It was beautiful and we thoroughly loved the fireplace. The bed was very comfortable and the living area was super spacious. We will definitely be back.

The windows in the master room were great. Was such a cozy spot to hang. You get the privacy with the gated land but also so close to downtown. We loved and will return !

Absolutely AMAZING property. We absolutely loved the location which was close to shopping and restaurants but a great amount of space between you and the neighbors. The entire property is fenced which worked out great with our big dogs. One of the reviews mentioned the yard was not “maintained” but we have acreage and farm dogs so for us it was absolutely fine. With acreage you’ll get the occasional gopher hole or ant hill- everything was mowed and picked up IMO it is well maintained. This place has all the room, charm and ambience you will need. We will definitely book again, such a unique charming property- I would love to know the history of it!

Quiet and serene. Loved the stay. Just what we were looking for. Just a small jog to downtown and lots to do. We filled our time with exploring the antique shops and eating out.

We really enjoyed the privacy of the house. The set up was also really good. Only mild complaint would be the small bathroom and sink/vanity. Also, although the house was clean, it did smell of pet urine. But overall, it was a nice property.

This spacious and beautifully remodeled home is located in the heart of the city, offering a perfect blend of urban convenience and privacy. The enormous fenced lot provides ample space for kids to play, making it an ideal family home. The property is well-equipped with all the essentials, including condiments, but a dishwasher would be a welcome addition. While all the appliances in the house function properly, the bathroom sink is currently clogged. For a family of three, this home is an excellent choice. However, I would like to see two bathrooms, especially since I plan to visit again with my three children. It’s an unrealistic request, of course, but I still wanted to share it with a host. :-)

I definitely feel like this is a great property however I booked to bring my pets and ended up not bringing them, and thankfully so the yard is not maintained and has a lot of overgrown bushes and weeds the lot is filled will large ant hills this would have been an issue for my animals.The yard is really not usable, although it is large. Also the inside could use a very deep cleaning and things like couches and bathroom mats should not have human hair on them if property was cleaned properly between stays. Otherwise is a good place to stay.

The house was stylish with large rooms on a single level. The yard is quite large [almost 2 acres]. We were there for a week and did some of our own cooking and found the pots, pans, dishes and utensils to be new and of good quality.

Beautiful Historic Ranch house

Amazing getaway! Didn’t really have to leave the house. Everything was furnished except for food ! Our dogs love the spacious property. The only reason we give it 4 stars on cleanliness is because the property could use some good yard work and a little cleaning inside but nothing major. We’ll definitely be back for another stay!
