This property is absolutely perfect for a family. You don’t even need to leave the property to have a good time. There were little details that made the stay comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for family trips.

Deer Haus was the perfect extended winter stay for us! The owner and the property manager were both exceptional with clear responsive communication and attention to every detail that we might need during our stay. This is a super clean place with plenty of quiet, private outdoor space to enjoy. The immediate neighborhood is nicely walkable. We highly recommend it and would happily stay again.

The house was cozy, clean and offered the essentials a guest may have forgotton. The scenery is amazing. We spent most of our time on the back patio having fun and feeding the deer.We would absolutely rent this house again!

Beautiful pet friendly spacious property! Very clean, loved the decor and furnishings and communication with the owner was top notch. The ONLY issue was all the pool sticks had no tips on them. Otherwise, everything else was perfect! Would highly recommend this home if you are looking for a private getaway with plenty of outdoor space in a very relaxing environment.

Fantastic Hill Country Getaway at Deer Haus

This beautiful home in the Texas Hill Country was a great place to spend a long weekend with my family. The house and outdoor entertainment area offered amazing accommodations for us to chill all weekend. We enjoyed passing time on the patio and game room while watching the deer visit throughout the day. The host was great and the house had everything we needed for our stay. I look forward to the opportunity to visit again.

Fantastic Property

We enjoyed this property so much! The backyard is spacious and relaxing. We had a blast feeding the deer multiple times each day. They even ate out of my grandson's hand. We were also grateful that this property allowed dogs. Overall, a wonderful place to escape! Communication is great with property owner, as well. We will be back!

Thanksgiving Holiday

We celebrated Thanksgiving at this wonderful home. It had everything we needed to cook a full meal. The property had deer that were were so tame as they came right up to us to eat the corn that was provided. Love this property as everything was provided. No extra supplies were needed. Would be happy to recommend this location to others.

We had an amazing stay at this Canyon Lake VRBO while celebrating my son’s graduation from Texas State! The property was perfect for our whole family—pet-friendly and thoughtfully set up for all ages.The game shed and outdoor patio were a huge hit with the young adults. It gave the cousins and brothers their own space to hang out and have fun, while the adults relaxed outside enjoying the peaceful setting. One of our favorite parts was watching the deer wander onto the property—such a special touch!The location couldn’t have been better—easy drives to New Braunfels, San Marcos, and even San Antonio. Accessibility was also great; my 84-year-old dad was able to comfortably get around the house with his cane, which meant a lot to us.A highlight of the weekend was spending Saturday evening at Canyon Lake Dam watching the sunset—absolutely beautiful and the perfect way to wrap up a memorable trip.Highly recommend this property for families, especially those celebrating special occasions! We will definitely be back in the future.

Just Perfect

This rental was just perfect. My family and I stayed here for a little Thanksgiving getaway. The owner was very accommodating and has placed a lot of care into this home. The area was private & peaceful and the scenery was nice as sholud be expected in hill country. The deer would come and nibble on corn throught the entire day..even while we were outside. They are nice distraction when you're losing to your kid at corn hole. When we entered Deer Haus, the first thing we noticed was how fresh and clean the house was. There are sound machines and air purifier in each room! Lots of extra pillows, towels and blankets. You only need to bring yourself. The house is stocked with everything you need including seasoning. I would definitely like to rent this home again. Thanks for the perfect Thanksgiving getaway!

The house was great, it had everything we needed and more. Everyone loved hanging out outside and playing pool and ping pong in the party bar. Amazing Rental House

The house was amazing! Communication from the property manager made everything that much easier. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to make great memories with friends and family! The back patio was perfect for hanging out, grilling, and listening to good music!

We'll Be Back!

It's always exciting to find a vacation property that meets and exceeds all expectations. And being only one mile from boat ramp #2 was a extra special surprise! We travel with fur babies, so the fenced-in yard was so incredibly accommodating for us . . . thank you for that! We loved the abundance of wildlife around the house too. We also want to mention how much we appreciate the spacious parking provided at the home (we had three vehicles and a 24-ft boat); just fantastically convenient! Many, many thanks for this wonderful place! We'll be back!

Outstanding Property!

This is an outstanding property with ample parking for a few vehicles and boats. The boat ramp is less than 5 minutes from the house. The outside patio is amazing for outdoor cooking, cornhole, sitting by the fire pit or just relaxing. I will definitely be back to this property. Thank you sharing it with us!
