I rarely give 5 stars. It’s the little things that earn this rental 5 stars. The host gave clear and easy check-in instructions. The outside doors have draft blockers to keep the inside warm. The Christmas tree was a nice touch. The home had soft night lights so people could find their way. The house was clean and well-maintained. There was a bathroom on each floor. My son is partially paralyzed and was able to manage the steps just fine thanks to the sturdy bannister. He gives it a 10 out of 10.
Christmas - there was room on the sectional but he wanted space to open presents.

Was great to find a cute 2 bedroom bungalow with 2 bathrooms...location was close to great restaurants, grocery store...had everything we needed in the house

Well stocked kitchen area with kcups and condiments. Narrow front street for parking but manageable and the norm for the area. Had a great stay and Onesto pizza up the road was amazing as well as the burger place a few blocks away. Breakfast place just a little farther Hatch'd was fantastic. It was a great evening gathering place for the family after long days of vacation stops at city museum, six flags, meremac caverns, ryze adventure park, and museum of illusions. Giant dining room table was perfect for evening board games too! The kids enjoyed the football table but Dad is still undefeated.

Everything was very clean and neat. Beds were comfortable. We always had a parking spot in front of the house. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The Kitchen was well set up. Our only comments are that the freezer in the fridge did not appear to freeze well as our icecream was gooey despite having the freezer turned up to max temperature. Also the grasses in front of the house totally covered the entrance to the porch steps, so maybe trimming those back would be helpful. Otherwise the rental was great.

I am sad to say, we have stayed in several vrbo’s for business travel in St.Louis and this is the only bad review I have ever left. Before booking, I asked 2 questions, room for parking and safety of neighborhood. I was assured that both were a priority. Unfortunately, we had to park a block away and walk because there was no available parking and there was a lot of concerning stuff going on around the property that made us feel so unsafe that we left after a few hours of arrival, as soon as we found a hotel to rent for the night and another Vrbo to stay in for the weekend. The house itself was not well kept, including a bad odor upon entrance. The shrubs are grown infront of the front stairs so that you have to walk through them to enter. I did reach out to the owner asap to let them know that we had checked out, not only to voice our concerns, but to allow her to rebook her home for the time. However, I did not purchase the travel insurance and she refused any kind of refund. Lesson learned on my behalf.

Clean house, nice quiet neighborhood!

Check-in was super easy and the house was very clean when we arrived. Anna responded to messages very quickly and was so sweet accommodating us with our baby and arrival times. Located in a quiet nice neighborhood, neighbors were nice and friendly. Several restaurants, coffee shops, and ice-cream shop nearby! Parking is on the street there in front of the house but it’s a side street and we never felt uncomfortable parking there. Definitely would stay there again!

Serious renovations needed, would not recommend a stay here

The house is clearly in rough condition and noticeable immediately when walking in. The doorway entry wall is completely separated from its adjoining wall by over half an inch. The paint all over the house is either chipping or dirty. The trim in the back staircase is completely separated from the wall. There are random wires all over the place. Missing trim and floorboards. The back door doesn’t latch so only the deadbolt catches and just barely so there’s not much holding it. Furniture is extremely worn. The linen chairs in the dining room are stained and dirty. Cracked tile in the kitchen with chunks missing near the transition. Can’t walk across the floor a single step without horrendous creaking, like wake the dead loud with every single step. Windows are near impossible to open. Barn doors on the kids room are so cheap they fall off the track and trap the kids in. And no handles on the inside to get out. Yard is overgrown and rough. I own an old house, so I get that things get worn down, floors creak, etc. This house is not charmingly old, it’s sad, worn, and dilapidated. Unsafe for small children. Also the neighbor speaking to us on multiple occasions creepily through his loudspeaker was very off putting. The host offered the cleaning service to drop in the next day for a quick once over as if that could repair the random wires and walls separating! We declined that offer. I responded to her with photos but did not receive a response back. I would not recommend

Great property close to many local attractions

The property is exactly as advertised- clean, spacious, well stocked and in walking distance to many local restaurants and shops. On street parking was always available and easy to access.

Wonderful!

This was the perfect place for us to stay while visiting for a family celebration! The kitchen was well stocked, everything was clean, and the beads were comfortable. For us, the location was in perfect proximity to everywhere we wanted to be. We will definitely stay again!

Quiet Street. Easy check in & check out

We were in a wedding at The Christy 5 mins away! It was perfect for us. Quiet street, nice bedrooms, and plenty of space for our group of 4. Anna was very responsive. Check in and check out were very simple! Would definitely stay again!

Quiet, safe neighborhood, comfy home.

3 over 60 ladies from IL, KS and TX for a long girls’ weekend. First afternoon the smoke detector was chirping. Anna responded VERY quickly and was at the house in half hour to change the battery. Also provided good sightseeing info. Thumbs up for everything!
