This Beautiful home has a large pool next to a Glamorous Outdoor Kitchen and Pavilion to entertain your family and friends. Steps away from your private riverfront on our property with Picnic Tables in the river to enjoy.

Starting in 2026 we will implement our sliding scale pricing, this home has a base price of $795.00 a night with 18 guest, each guest above 18 will be $25 per night per person extra, this will help our groups that have smaller numbers of guests save a little extra money.

Nice River Access Ease of TubingWe had an amazing time hosting my mom’s surprise 80th birthday party Labor Day weekend. The location and facilities worked out perfectly. Donny was the perfect host! He made sure we were taken care of, had everything we needed, was extremely timely on communicating with us and was readily available with the free shuttle service every-time we asked with enough tubes for our very large group! Although he lives on site, Donny stays discreet and pops in only when you need him.The accommodations were absolutely gorgeous and soooooo comfortable! We all loved the craftsmanship of the home and furniture. Access to the river is a short easy walk with a nice swimming spot and a couple vehicles in the group can drive down with all your needed supplies making it so convenient!Tip: Bring bath towels which is communicated by the host, but also remember kitchen dishtowels, face towels and wash cloths. We brought a few, but could have used a few more. Great time, lasting memories at this special place!

Family Weekend

My family takes turns picking a place for us to all meet once a year every summer, and this was my year to pick and now there’s talks of just staying here every year! Plenty of space and things for every one of all ages to do. Donny was such a huge help for everything. He answered all of our millions of questions with no issue. Having the little piece of private river front is a huge selling point for this place.

Our host was most accomodating during our stay. The teenagers had their own rooms and could roam the property freely. The kitchen was stocked with all utensils and cooking supplies allowing easy meal preparation. At night we were able to all roam to the river for smores and moonlight fun.

We have been taking our annual trip to Concan and Garner State Park for 7 years now. The Haggville was perfect for all of our needs. Staff was great and accommodating. Honestly hate to give such a great review in the chance that we lose out on availability, however I couldn’t suggest this property anymore! Cheers!

The property was incredible! River front was so fun to sit at each day. The outdoor space was amazing, we practically lived out there! The rooms were great too and everyone had their own private space to turn in each night.

Nice property and great hospitality!

Nice property, scenic area, and Donny is a wonderful host that is very helpful. We would come back! It says pool and hot tub on the website...next time would you please clarify that you don't provide it in the winter or something. But it ended up not bothering us much. We had a water baptism at the Frio River! It would be nice to have it in the pool too.

Family Fun in Concan

We had a family reunion at Haggsville Hacienda (33 adults, teens, and little kids) for the eclipse. The property was perfect for a large group with a large outdoor kitchen area and pavillion where had all our family meals. The area is beautiful with the river and bluff right there. It was a short walk to the river where we spent a lot of time splashing, slipping and floating. The pool is small, but we spent more time at the river (the river was actually warmer since it was shallower - and it was early April). All the rooms had mini splits (AC) which worked really well, except in the loft, but the owner was quick to respond to that. I can't say enough how great the owner Donny was, very gracious and quick to respond to any questions or needs. He even brought down some firewood the night we wanted to have a campfire by the river and saw we had sent the little kids to collect sticks for it. We had a great time, even though it was cloudy for the eclipse. If we ever make it back to Concan, we will definitely stay there.

We really enjoyed our stay. The outdoor kitchen was awesome. Adding some outdoor evaporative coolers in the kitchen would have made it more comfortable due to the hot temperatures. An inconvenience was that some room toilets had limitations on could be flushed. Adjacent rooms did not have the restriction. Overall it severed our needs and I recommend it to others.

Great time had by all.

Haggville Hacienda is an amazing property with great access to the Frio. Donny took care of any needs we had. While the river was a bit low and slow, it didn’t spoil our experience. Would definitely recommend!

Family on the Frio23

Donny was an awesome owner! We had several questions & he always replied immediately
the Haggville Hacienda fit our family of 34 with privacy for every family in their rooms
The indoor kitchen was a great place to gather for breakfast & wake up, the outdoor kitchen is when we gathered for dinner & the fun continued..the pool & the private access to the river were the highlights for the kiddos/young adults/slightly older adults
we had 10 cars since we had family from several different cities & he had extra parking for our bunch
we made great memories & can’t wait to come back! thank you Donny!!!

FUN,FUN,FUN!

Our stay was everything we had hoped for. Accommodations were perfect. Rooms were cool, clean and plenty of beds. Donny the owner/manager was so very nice, did everything to make our stay memorable. It had a great covered patio/kitchen area where we spent most evenings after leaving the Frio, not to mention, it was very nice to have our own private waterfront property. We had a great time and will be back.

Family vacation

Our stay was wonderful. We enjoyed the outside kitchen with the big screen TV. The commercial size refrigerator was amazing. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool. The river was only steps away and nice to drive the truck down. If we had a question or any issues Donny answered immediately . We will certainly stay again.

Loved it!

We were a family of 20+ looking for our first Easter gathering since the pandemic began. Haggville and the house next door were perfect for us. The houses are beautifully furnished, quite comfortable and clean. Donny was easy to reach in advance and while there. His assistant Jaime also made sure we were well taken care of. They went out of their way to assure we all had a wonderful stay. The location right on the river was just beautiful. We want to come again!

I’m a retired Dry Cleaner from South Texas, that moved up to the Frio River in 2016 and built these glamorous homes on the land that my mom and dad bought in 1960, I run them with Passion and Delight seeing renters come here year after year enjoying their family getaway on my beautiful resort.

I chose this area because my parents bought this land in 1960 for our family to enjoy over the years, I've kept it in my family and kept my father's dream of having friends enjoy it for many years to come. It was literally in the backwoods and we would not see a soul around. We would come and do our family vacations year after since I was born

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This property is unique because it's still in our family. We have private riverfront for our guest to enjoy, many of the countertops, wood tops, and bar tops, that you will see I actually custom built myself, using my sawmill and trees that came off this property or nearby counties. I own it myself, I manage it myself, just as I did my dry cleaning business for 38 years using my people skills and building skills to give my guest an experience they won't find in this area! I guess I'm friends that come back and enjoy the special place I've built.
