Cottage pittoresque n ° 18 au bord du lac avec deux chambres et un porche à Chatham

Récemment rénové!!!! Nouvelle cuisine, comptoirs en granit, nouveaux planchers de bois franc, nouvelle cloison sèche et peinture. Plafonds cathédrale dans un espace cuisine / salon ouvert. Ceci est un charmant chalet de 2 chambres dans une communauté privée niché parmi les pins sur White Pond. Parfait pour les petites familles ou un couple qui désire un espace supplémentaire. Il va dormir confortablement 5. La chambre principale offre un lit queen size et la deuxième chambre est équipée d'un lit double avec un matelas jumeau. Projeté dans le porche est parfait pour les soirées tranquilles dans ou matinées de détente de boire du café tout en écoutant les oiseaux chanteurs. Nager à la plage privée dans un lac d'eau douce ou prendre un court de 5 minutes en voiture de plusieurs plages de l'océan. Le centre-ville de Chatham est à seulement 3,2 km et regorge de boutiques et de restaurants raffinés qui rivalisent avec les meilleurs restaurants de Nantucket. Ce chalet offre une escapade exclusive sans les frais de nombreuses stations balnéaires haut de gamme de Chatham. Apportez vos vélos, des kayaks ou en canoë pour profiter de l'étang et de sentiers pédestres qui fournissent une abondance de nombreux cadeaux de la nature. Les concerts du vendredi soir ou une excursion à North Beach pour explorer les phoques du port sont un must pour les enfants. PAS DE POLITIQUE PET, la violation entraînera la perte du dépôt complet.

We had a great stay at Meredith’s cottage! It was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Great location for day trips to different beaches and even P-Town. It was a bonus to have the lake to enjoy as well. Definitely recommend.

Great location, great neighborhood.

Looking for a great place to go up scale camping this cozy cabin is a great choice. Walking distance to great restaurants and shops. If the lake your at is not your cup of tea your only a short drive to the local beaches.

Great location

Excellent location and the property is bigger than it appears in photos. The pond is not as close as I thought it would be, but we really didn’t use it anyway. We spent most of the time in the enclosed porch which was spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Lovely peaceful stay!

Our family of 4 needed a change of scenery. This cottage provides the best of lake and close ocean beach activities. Close to restaurants and shopping. We had a very relaxing stay.

Cozy retreat

My partner and I had a wonderful time at this cozy, comfortable cottage on White Pond. The cottage was neat and had every amenity we needed. Also it offers a superb location in Chatham, with easy access to beaches, restaurants, and a bike trail.

Affordable, great location

This was a last minute getaway. The cottage was clean and provided exactly what we needed. Loved the pricing too. The beach was a short walk, about 1.5 miles away. Lots of restaurants all along Main St.

Great Cape Cottage!

Our group of 4 really enjoyed staying here! The cottage was perfect for us - a quaint place to stay with a nice kitchen and in a great location. We enjoyed the small community of cottages and swimming in the pond. We also really liked how close it was located to restaurants and shops in downtown Chatham, as well as the proximity to beautiful beaches. We'll definitely be returning in the future!

Quaint cabin

Communication with Meredith was quick and easy. The cabin/cottage is quaint and just enough room for my wife and two teens. It’s close to the center of town, the Cape Cod Rail Trail, and steps to the pond.

Great spot. Good place. It was almost as if they didn’t realize anyone was coming to stay. I think it had been a while since anyone had been there. Had to knock down a few cobwebs and take care of few other things too. It’s in a really good spot. Nice neighbors.

No WiFi! This is not the cottage we signed up for. Given that, we didn't know what we were getting.

The view was great and the bed was comfy. However, there were a lot of missteps with this one. The shower curtains were mildewed, the dish drainer was so rusty I wouldn't use it, the dark carpet stain was unsightly, a light in the bathroom didn't work and other easily fixable issues that weren't attended to before our stay. Having had better accommodations on the Cape for less, we really felt cheated for the price we paid.

The listing clearly states no WIFI available, please review listing. Renter's were allowed a courtesy early morning access to property without charge. Renter's broke shades and were not charged for damages. Disappointed with this response. I'm not sure where you can rent waterfront in Chatham for the price that was paid. The rest of the summer is booked with repeat renters that come back every year for the value, location and overall charming experience.

Great location, perfect amount of space

This was an ideal location and setting for us, close to places we wanted to visit, but in a quiet serene surrounding. It is a cottage, with the compactness you'd expect, but has been nicely redone and was perfect for my adult daughter and I to each have our own bedroom and plenty of common space. We would definitely consider returning. There were a few issues of confusion or things that could use attention. First, the outer enclosed porch area door was broken, barely able to latch, and definitely no way to lock it. We originally planned to store bikes there but didn't feel ok about keeping an expensive borrowed bike there. There was a key box with combo on the outside of this area but we never figured out how to open it, seems like no longer in use? But the inner part opened properly and could be securely locked. There is a very active yellow jacket wasp nest in the ground between the walk to the outdoor shower and the rhododendron bush. There was a dirty/hairy fitted sheet on one of the beds that the cleaning service should have removed. (We brought all our own linens as instructed, I assume this was left behind by someone before us.) The bathroom could really use a towel rack and some hooks (like on the back of the door.) But mostly these were fairly minor issues that can be fixed or clarified. On the whole we had a great stay and would consider returning next year.

We were unable to check in on our first night because the door had been manually deadbolted, and the only mode of entrance offered is a keypad entry. We ended up having to pay over $300 to stay somewhere else across town in the middle of the night, and were not refunded enough to compensate for having to stay somewhere else. Host ended up having to get a neighbor to open the home through a window, and we continued to experience unreliability and errors with the keypad throughout the rest of our stay. There was an ant infestation in the cabinets where food, pots and pans were to be stored. We knew that the space was going to be rustic and that that would entail the presence of some insects. However, the volume of ants in the kitchen cabinets and the presence of roaches indicates a lack of in-depth maintenance over time. The area and the adjacent pond were both lovely, and the community of cabins was very cute. However, I would not stay in this specific cabin again and can't say I would recommend it to anyone else looking for a relaxing stay.
