Summary:
Primary suite has views of the Gulf of Mexico sunset from one side of the home and sunrise over the inter-coastal waterway. This home is equipped with 6 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, an executive kitchen, dining area, two massive south-east facing porches, and one west facing porch. Elevator access on site. The beach access is conveniently located right at the end of the driveway. There are six guests included in the base price and the property accommodates up to fourteen guests comfortably.
**Owners hold right to terminate stay if house rules are not followed**
The Neighborhood:
SFH that is set back from the street by a football field and has convenient beach access at the end of the driveway with a cross walk next to driveway.

The house siding was coming off and some of it was missing , it also had moss growing on the side of the house there was a tarp covering the roof where the shingles were missing, and it was hanging down the side of the house also weeds in grass growing on the patio by the swimming pool and missing tile in numerous places, the heater on the Jacuzzi did not work at least three different doors would not close and one of the door knobs was even backwards to where if you locked it someone one could not get out not enough towels lightbulbs burned out didn’t have a TV remote in one of the bedrooms ceiling fan didn’t work , we didn’t use the grills. They were too dirty to even touch no ping-pong balls so you could not use it. No lights on walkway out to water,and numerous other things were wrong.

House has the potential to be a five star,but it needs a lot of TLC. Mold in the washer. The house is basically clean but everything in kitchen felt greasy. Missing boards on railing 
safety hazard if you have children, rotting wood on deck. The elevator will only hold one person even though it says it will hold 900 lbs. Just so many things that are not being addressed. The house is spacious and the location is perfect. It’s sad that it is not being taken care of.

We arrived 45 minutes after check-in time - and the cleaning crew was still working. We were told that the previous occupants left the place in a mess - - so we tried to be understanding about that. I would say that the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and nicely appointed. I can't say as much about the main living areas. The floor of the main living area I don't think was mopped at all after the last occupants - the floor felt dirty to bare feet and the bottoms of our feet showed a lot of dirt transfer. The windows the the back were dirty, and we cleaned those ourselves. There was also a fair amount of greasy film on the kitchen appliances and I cleaned those myself. There were two area rugs that were in bad need of replacement. There was a decor item on the kitchen island that I moved to a much less visible area - it was a broken ceramic pitcher with some very sad looking sprigs of sea grass in it. There was some obvious signs of wear on the furniture. I communicated with the owner early on about some of the cleanliness issues and we came to a mutual agreement on compensation. We also had some concerns regarding the pocket door in the upstairs bathroom and the working of the elevator, and they were very responsive. My family enjoyed our time there. I don't know how often the owner stops in to check on this property, however as a former VRBO host, it might behoove them to check in on the general condition of the place.

Needed handyman - who came an hour after stated time - numerous lights were out - unable most, but not stair well bulbs due to height. Threshd\hold of Crews quarter bedroom a fall hazard, not nailed down & split, basement toilet leaks onto garage floor & occasionally water comes up in sink after flushing..............Odor in the driveway is nasty and overpowering, standing water in the driveway close to the house was always present --- there appears to be one electrical cord on the ground near the creek running through the water and an open plumbing exchange. Pool itself was fine, pavers were not in place around pool edge, not enough lounge chairs, spa tub didnt work, 3 metal chairs were left at the end of the pier that we had to relocate for more seating. The hose was a tripping hazard in front of the entry to the pier, the pool man on Monday wrapped it up and moved it aside when he came. NO pool umbrella. Ran out of toilet paper in ALL 3 bathrooms, no napkins in kitchen, wine frigerator needs a good cleaning.

Poor Communication and Privacy Violations

I stayed here with my wedding party during our wedding weekend and let the host know months in advance that we would have guests coming and going throughout our stay, which the host never responded to. Despite this, the host closely monitored the exterior cameras the entire time and falsely accused us of throwing a party—which we did not.I also messaged again before our arrival to clarify about having extra guests, and since I never received a response, I assumed it was permitted. Instead of communicating clearly, the host waited until the night of my wedding—an incredibly meaningful and already stressful day—to threaten to call the police if I didn’t immediately pay over 2,000 in added charges.Between the constant surveillance, lack of communication, and threatening messages, my guests and I felt extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. We ultimately ended our stay early because of the outrageous fee, complete lack of privacy, and overall hostile behavior from the host.I would not recommend this property to anyone looking for a respectful or relaxing experience

Prefect place for out family, grandkids enjoyed the pool and ocean, enjoyed the waterway for fishing and paddle board the house could use a little bit of updates but nothing bad,otherwise it's a very nice house conveniently located to everything quiet area our family had a great vacation would definitely rent again

Unique and lovely Beach home!

Very charming home with loads of personality. The location was perfect; just a short walk across to the Gulf coast and a private pier out to the intercoastal waterway/canal.The only reason I gave 4 stars for accuracy of listing is that the photos make it seem like everything is flowing from master bedroom to living room and kitchen and it was actually very separated by levels. Perfect though for a couple of families
.but we were traveling with 2 disabled guests so it a little tricky.Overall : Excellent vacation spot!!!!!

Great house and location

Three families stayed in this house, kids age 15-18 for spring break. The location is great, nice that you're secluded and we never worried we would bother the neighbors if the kids got too loud. Lots of parking was a plus as we had some friends staying in the area and they could just park at our place to walk to the beach. Loved that the beach was never overly crowded, very quiet area. We loved Caddy's and Sharkey's, short walks away. The pool was so nice and the hot tub was great too, spent most of our time at the pool and hot tub. We had to contact the owners to turn on the hot tub heat but they were always very fast in responding. You'll see past reviews about the condition of the house but honestly as a seasoned VRBO renter, it's par for the course. Also, it's obvious that the past hurricanes have done some damage and will take time to get things looking good. But none of that had any impact on the fun we had on the trip. We ordered a skim board off amazon and had it delivered the day we got there, plus there was one already there. We left ours as a donation, which I'm assumed a lot of past renters have done. There were some kayaks and a paddle board but only one oar, but we just took turns on the intercostal with the one kayak. There were a good amount of garbage bags, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, etc to get us started but picked up more during the week so the next renters have some to get them through. Over all, great place, would love to stay again.

Best local ever

What a beautiful house and perfect location. We had 3 couples, 1 toddler and 3 dogs. Rooms for everyone with their own bathroom. The private dock was great for fishing or sunning. Setting in the pool with the beautiful view of the bay or under the cover to stay out of the sun.

Nice house

The house is large and well appointed. The beds are comfortable and the pool is lovely. Note that the pool heater and hot tub cannot get hot at same time which is a bummer. We really never got use of the hot tub because it wouldn't get hot. The pool furniture was lacking and needs to be upgraded. The owners were very responsive. We had a broken tv and they brought us a brand new one!

Lovely Home

We really enjoyed this home for our girls weekend! Its in the perfect location and has beautiful views. Quite area and easy beach access. The dock is very peaceful and the perfect place to be when the sun rises. The property management was great. Very helpful and attentive to our questions/needs. I would book this place again and recommend it to others.

Luxurious and Relaxing Getaway

This house exceeded our expectations! The decor was stunning, and the amenities were top-notch. We especially loved the elevator for getting our luggage upstairs, and the hot tub overlooking the intercoastal was perfect for enjoying a glass of wine. The location couldn’t have been better – with easy access to the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. We spent our mornings sipping coffee while watching the sunrise, kayaking in the afternoon, and relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings. It’s also close to great local attractions and wonderful restaurants. A dream vacation spot we’ll definitely return to!

Luxury Price, not a Luxury Experience

I visited with 5 other professional friend couples on a group trip. The house was in a great location, and the pool was very nice. Cannot comment on the hot tub as we did not use it. However, I feel like the property was poorly managed for a few reasons. 1. The AC would not go below 73 degrees and we were all miserable throughout the night because of how hot and humid it was. When we attempted to turn it down, it would reset to 73. 2. Unusable grills. The big green egg had maggots in it and the other was out of propane. 3. Checkout was at 10am and a guy we believe to be the cleaning person entered unannounced at 9:55 while we were still there. He didn’t knock, and it felt very creepy as he was sitting in his car outside for over 30 minutes watching us. I’ve also never been in a VRBO where we needed to wash and put away dishes. Do not plan to sleep in on checkout day for these reasons. 4. The back door to the patio was broken. They left a note on the door about it (no message before check in), but the deadbolt was broken so anyone could’ve broken into it. 5. Some areas such as the outdoor bar sink and downstairs shower were not very clean and had dirt/grime on them. 6. They did not supply any extra toilet paper or paper towels or trash bags, so we had to buy our own. We ran out of these products after 1 day. 7. The trash from the previous renter wasn’t taken out. While this house has a lot of potential, we were very disappointed given how expensive it was.

Awesome spot

Great home for families and kids. Plenty of room and things to keep you entertained. Pool overlooking the sound is pretty neat. Private pier to fish from is great. Short walk to the beach. Super convenient location. My only complaint is it is missing alot of lightbulbs in some of the lights inside and out and some general maintence would really make it perfect. Other than that its great! We will be back for sure.

Family Vacation

House was accommodating for our group of 10. Overall house was clean and the location was perfect. House could use some updating. Patio furniture was poor, gas grill barely heated up. Lights burnt out, challenges with many light switches that seemed to have no function. Host did respond quickly and assisted with our elevator issue. Overall the house was well furnished as well as the kitchen. Just seemed the house needed some maintenance/repairs.

Great Weekend Stay

The location of this vacation rental is fantastic. We enjoyed both waterways, and got out on the kayaks for a sunrise paddle on our last day there. The kids loved the pool, the parents loved the hot tub, and the house was comfortable for the baby shower we hosted. The showers besides the master suite shower were slow to warm, and did not ever get fully hot. The downstairs shower was slow to drain. The room advertising 2 queens includes an uncomfortable sofa sleeper. The room advertising a bunk bed and queen bed, sleeps 2 comfortably. The loft bed is cute, but not a comfortable place to sleep. We loved the use of the well stocked kitchen, beach towels, and pool toys. The living, dining, and porch spaces are wonderful. I would definitely rent this unit again for a group that needs 1 king, 4 queen beds, & 1 double bed. The proximity to the mangroves and beach is delightful.
