Coastal Cottage 1 Block from Beach!~Steele Magnolias on Folly

One of Folly's Best! This 2 bedroom 1 bath cottage accommodates up to 6 guests comfortably and sits just a block away from the waves! There is ample off-street private parking, an outdoor shower and a charcoal grill provided. All of the restaurants and shops are 4 blocks down from the home and can be accessed easily by walking or by bike. Inside is bright and beachy and the kitchen is equipped for cooking. There is ample seating and an island bar top for additional dining space. You will find a queen bed, 2 full beds, a full pull-out sofa in the living room and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. Steele Magnolias on Folly has all the necessities you need for a restful beach vacation! Steele Magnolias on Folly allows only one small flea-treated pup up to 40lbs (Pre-approval is required, and fees apply-please don't hesitate to contact us directly for additional information) Grill use: charcoal and cleaning responsibility of the guest. All photos are current and accurately depict the property. Please book with confidence. This property is licensed by the city of Folly Beach as a vacation rental - LIC006300. Great Place to Stay By the Beach

Great location, clean house, comfortable bed. We enjoyed our stay on Folly beach. This home had all we needed. Clean, updated and comfortable. We are grateful to have stayed in this great little home.

Perfect Place

Our stay here was great! While the place is definitely small, it was perfect for our small family. Very close to the beach and restaurants, which is where we spent most of our time. It had everything we could need too and the outdoor space was wonderful to spend time as well.

Quick visit to Charleston

The property is small and as described in photos and comments, esp. the shower/bathroom. Probably too small for anything more than fam of 4 with little kids or 3 max adults. With just two adults is was perfect. Easy check in, plenty of privacy, plenty of parking and super close to the beach.

Great location for hanging out at the beach a lot.

Great for the beach. Outdoor hose, shower, clothes line, decks everywhere, room for cars, bikes, chairs, surfboards at street level. Sandy feet a block away. Kitchen and bathroom and shower might be tight for bigger folks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Ideal beach access

The best part about the stay was definitely the access to the beach— just a quick block away. The house itself was tiny (which in of itself isn’t a bad thing, just be prepared for a tiny bathroom). The deck is in great need of repair/replacement—has nailheads popped up everywhere—and the second bedroom has no real door.

We found the house to accurately match the description we saw online. It’s an old place with some updates. Charming. Close to the beach. The bathroom was a little tight, but we loved the shower under the house. We knew what to expect so we were not disappointed and enjoyed our stay

Amazing location and house

We love a cozy little house and this was exactly that! The only thing that was a little let down was that Bedroom 2’s sliding door was broken, but there was a curtain in place to still provide a bit of privacy. The house is cozy, very clean, and overall perfect for our family weekend. The 5th st. Beach access is literally steps from the house making it a breeze to take the kids to the beach. The porch also had gates on the entrances making to easy to keep the kids and pup on the porch without them going down the stairs. Had an amazing weekend!

Folly Beach

Great location, so close to the beach. Very clean propery but in need of cosmetics, inside and out. Did not bother us as we spent little time in the cottage and are used to much more rustic cabins in the north. This cottage had everythinh we needed and was comfortable. Beds were comfy with lots of pillows. Love that we found some beach chairs in the laundry room too!

Folly Getaway

It was a wonderful place, adorable and close to the beach! We had a great week! The main bed could be a bit more comfortable along with the pillows. Also wish there was a bit more comfortable seating on the outside decks! We used our beach chairs which worked out fine. Besides that, I would go back tomorrow if I could!

Small house with great location!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Steele Magnolias! Do not let the front door deter you! Inside is clean, cute and very comfortable. It is very small; from the oven, to the table to the tiny shower but with the beach as close as it is, you won’t spend much time at the house. Be sure to bring paper plates because there is no dishwasher. We would return to this cozy beach house that is truly steps away from the beach!

Nice property!

The check in process was perfect. The house was clean and had everything as advertised except a grill. Once we told the host, he had a grill to us within 24 hrs. Can’t complain much but our menus for the week had to be rearranged. Not a huge issue, but did change our plans a bit. I would stay here again!

Great Location

Clean but older. Main tv did not work called but they could not fix. Asked me to restart and call back with any issues. Called back and phone rang 12 times no answer. Didn’t want to waste anymore vacation time so just watched 2nd tv. A small trash can in each bedroom would be nice. Not certain I would stay here again.

Overall very good. Location is close enough to center st but not too close, very close to beach. Appears to have had some upgrades. Shower/bathroom a little small. Front door had some damage. Mattress in the room with one bed was too soft for me anyway but the other was fine. Pretty much everything u need for a beach trip. I'd go back again

Needs some TLC

Overall the property was in the perfect location and clean upon arrival. However, it needs lots of TLC to make this place comfortable to stay in more than a few days. The bathroom/shower is tiny. Over 5ft5”? You are going to bang your arms/elbows and knees just trying to go to the bathroom. The washer/dryer is outside and downstairs in a utility closet
 washer was filthy and made your clothes smell damp. Many things were broken which I did not expect to walk into for the price. The tv has a large crack in the top right corner. The light fixtures above the island are missing sconces. The shower door is broken and doesn’t close properly so leaks on the floor. The hot water faucet in shower is broken/loose. You will either be scolded or have a cold shower. The shelf in the bathroom is barely hanging on the wall
 don’t put anything on there. The accordion door on bedroom 2 is cracked/broken. Blinds all over the living area are messed up and you think you’ll break them if trying for privacy. We also had an insane amount of ants but we dealt with that after a run to Walmart. Don’t plan on cooking much, kitchen is minuscule and stove is extremely old. Yard is not fenced in, and if it rains alot? It’s a marsh that smells like a sceptic tank leaked. If taking your pets? I don’t recommend this property. Overall, this property is a run down trailer on stilts. Great for a quick stay where you are hardly there. We spent most of our time on the beach which was not even a 2 min walk. We were so close to the beach. Prime location. Just don’t expect nice furnishings/ ease of access with the laundry/bathroom/kitchen. We would not stay at this property again.
