Close to the beach and the best supermarket in Placencia!

Two bedrooms, one bathroom allows for 4 guests comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped if you decide to cook your meals. Perfect location between the road and the beach. Walking distance to Placencia's biggest store is a quick two minutes. The pharmacy is located nearby as well. The house is named Sound Of The Sea because thats how close you are without being right on the beach. All beaches in Placencia are public so take a spot anywhere you'd like. Take a stroll down Placencia's sidewalk that runs parallel to the road and beach and explore one of the beach bars and many gifts shops. Nothing better describes the sidewalk as the word "charming". Two bikes are available for use. Additional bikes can be rented from Captain Jacks.

Our 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom allows for 4 guests comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped if you decide to cook your meals. Perfect location between the road and the beach. Walking distance to Placencia's biggest store is a quick two minutes. The pharmacy is located nearby as well. Washer/dryer use with a 4+ day reservation.

The open plan kitchen and lounge is the perfect relaxation spot. Also with large wrap around hardwood verandahs you will have room to spare.
The master bedroom is spacious and well appointed. It like the rest of the property, is brand new.
The second bedroom is smaller but just as comfortable.
Both bedrooms have there own built in closet's.

You can walk the whole village easily.
If you feel like non walking options we can help you book a golf cart. The location for rental can be right by the airport or just up the road from your home.
Wonderful quiet property on its on lot. Lots or birds in the tree's as well as the sound of the sea just down the road.
This property is a 2 min walk to the best supermarket in Placencia, as well as located on the start of the famous Placencia Sidewalk. Home to many beachside bars and nightlife as well as gift shops and restaurants.
This truly is in the heart of the village, while feeling very private at the same time.

As hosts, no one tells us they are ready to leave. We are sure you will feel the same.
If you require a note for your employer as to why you are extending your vacation... we can provide that too!!

Note this property is a Self Catering Property and will require a separate rental agreement with house rules.
Basic amenities will be provided, but more may need to be purchased during your stay.

Great location near all amenities, the beach and the sidewalk too! A big wide veranda for lounging or eating, or even bird watching. We did a lot of bird watching from the veranda and saw grackles, woodpecker, kiskadees, trogons, different varieties of doves, parrots, pelicans, hawks, vultures etc.. If you love birds, then this is a wonderful place to enjoy them.

Wonderful home away from home

My husband and I spent 10 days at Sound of the Sea in September. This wonderful, bright, comfortable home offers everything you could possibly want to make your stay a great experience. Perfect location within walking distance to everything on a quiet little street that's a 2 minute walk to the beach. The home is beautiful constructed and decorated. When we weren't discovering everything the village had to offer, we spent the entire rest of the time outside on the beautiful, BIG, breezy balcony, watching people, birds and neighborhood pets interacting. The home is open and airy, with a fully equipped kitchen and an generous amount of linen/towels. The bedrooms are very comfortable, with both air-conditioning units and ceiling fans. A BIG bonus of this property is the on-site washer and dryer. A rare treat. Even 2 bikes were available for exploring. All the shops and restaurants are within an easy walk from the property. We will definitely stay at this property again and will recommend it to any friends/family who plan to visit beautiful Placencia. One suggestion: adding a blender to the wonderfully equipped kitchen to make smoothies with the wonderful, spectacular topical fruits the island has to offer Thank you for a wonderful stay We'll be back! :) Sylvia

Nice little house

This was a really nice little spot. Perfect for a few couples, and a little walk to all the bars and restaurants on the boardwalk. I’d definitely stay here again!

The place was nice, private, comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, the AC is a must, and Jack got us set up for all of our tours to do the things we wanted to do and he helped us find the best tour guides available for those. We hadn't set anything up before we arrived, because we weren't sure which tours we wanted to do until we got there. He set us up for everything last minute, made sure we had what we needed, and the communication was great. He even set up our COVID test at the property before we left for the airport on our last day. The location is great for walking into town a short distance to shops, groceries, food, the boardwalk and the beach restaurants and bars. You honestly don't even need to use the kitchen unless you want to save a little money or bring home some fruit🍍 or rum and punch.🍹The beach is public and close, so you can walk a short distance and go for a swim when you need to cool off. For the first part of our vacation we planned to spend more time relaxing on the beach so for that we stayed somewhere right on the beach with a view of the water, and it's own beach access, beach chairs, and umbrellas, etc., but for the rest of our vacation when we planned to do tours and explore the town, this location was perfect. Everything was in walking distance. We didn't even need to rent a vehicle or get transportation, until we needed a ride back to Placencia airport, and Jack arranged that for us too. I would definitely stay here again.

Property met all our expectations. Very clean and well kept. Appliances are new and everything worked properly. Friendly neighborhood close to anything you need.
