Known as The Queen of Marquette since its early days, our home has the charm of a historical home with the comfort of some modern updates. Large spaces for entertaining and comfy beds for everyone. A 15-20 min. walk to Notre Dame or downtown South Bend; one block from the St. Joseph river. Experience the chill vibe of the North Shore Triangle neighborhood with strolls along the riverfront, bike path or multiple parks nearby!
Main level has the living room (with natural gas fireplace), kitchen, dining room, half bath and a sitting room (with real wood fireplace).
2nd floor has 4 bedrooms and a full bathroom
3rd floor has a large bedroom.
Basement has laundry, bathroom and shower, treadmill.
Large deck with gas and charcoal grills and backyard with fire pit are great for entertaining, as is the front porch!

Excellent host and home! I would highly recommend. Very cool old house with unique decor and features. A lot of work has been done to make it up-to-date. Check in and out was a breeze. No issues whatsoever.

Historic Beauty

The property was beautiful and just as pictured. We rented the property to attend graduation weekend activities because it was able to have 10 guests, was close to the campus, and looked absolutely beautiful! Denise was helpful, accommodating, and easy to reach. I highly recommend this property and Denise!

Great weekend in South Bend

My family had a great time in this home. The owner is wonderful and checks in to make sure that everything is all set. She even found a left homework packet from my nephew. I would recommend this beautiful home.

Perfect stay for ND football weekend

This property is located on a convenient, quiet street 1 mile from campus. Everything about this century home is comfortable. Great back yard space to play. Front porch for morning coffee. Big driveway for parking a few cars. Would stay again!

Lovely, unique large home near ND

The home is beautiful and unique. It was perfect for a large group with multiple comfortable beds. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to campus, which is very convenient.

Ohio State Wins and so does this property!

Perfect in every way! Walking distance to beautiful Notre Dame, comphy beds, very clean, well equipped awesome kitchen! But what made it stand out from all others is the warm inviting decor and the Front Porch! We enjoyed looking at all the very interesting collections that Denise so exquisitely displayed. The front porch was our favorite hang out spot! But the backyard was amazing as well! We grilled burgers and hotdogs for all the Notre Dame friends of our future son-in-law and it brought a smile to my face to be able to meet them for the first time in such an incredible home! They all asked how in the world I found this gem! Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to experience South Bend and Notre Dame in style!

A great home base for Notre Dame weekend

Our group of 8 recently stayed here for a Notre Dame football weekend. A wonderful home - clean, spacious and comfortable. Very well equipped, and an easy 15-20 minute walk to campus. Great communication from a gracious host.

Notre Dame upset game

Charming, comfortable home

Very easy check in and wonderful communication from Denise, the owner. Close to ND campus, the river and downtown. A perfect location for a 2 or 3 day stay. We had plenty of room and the beds were very comfortable.

Excellent, safe neighborhood. So close to both Notre Dame and the bourgeoning entertainment scene around Eddy St. and downtown! Very kid friendly. Great for large families and couples gathering for a long-awaited reunion with ND Football!
