Host was very nice, House was ok. The TV in the back room was broken so that kinda stunk. Upon entry I noticed some broken or damaged items and addressed them with the host so I was not blamed. It was a quiet stay no drama. The bed could use better pillows hahah. Overall decent I would stay again. Also I think that the home should have access to cable or streaming services at the least. (I had to watch my phone)

Pool and Pavillion were nice for hanging outside. Community center with games was great! Spacious loft for my son and loved the back porch on our room!

Tiny home stay

We stayed over memorial day weekend. The house was beautiful and very clean. It was perfect for our family. We can't wait to rent it again!

Cute and cozy. The only negative was there were dead little black bugs in the sheets and a bit of an ant problem. The air freshners were very strong.

Needs a new couch

The prior low reviews aren't very relevant, but here's my 2 cents. The house is actually very superb for the price. The parking spot sucks for a Diesel Excursion, but I made it work. The beds are semi-comfortable and sleep 6. However, the seating is only for 2-3 adults. There was also one cockroach that we found, but we're near the water, that's to be expected. I liked that I didn't have to spend extra money on pet fees and that it's not too far from I-45.

This property was so cute! I loved the layout of the house and it was very comfortable for a couple nights stay. It was very clean and neat as well. Only problem was I had a heck of a time finding the house. Granted, it was dusk when I arrived because it took longer than expected to reach the destination, but once we realized gps was taking us the wrong way. (It took us to a neighboring neighborhood) we called the owner of the house and she was very kind and helpful and directed us to the correct place. I was very impressed with the small house and I would definitely love to go back.

Items needed

We were told this place sleeps 6, so we thought there would be dishes, silverware for 6. We only had 4 plates, 4 cups 4 of 2 kinds of glasses and not enough knives. There were no mixing bowls for pancakes, no measuring spoons or cups. The ice maker dumped ice on floor of refrig, but in our glasses, no potato masher. We had to go at night to purchase these items. No soap for shower. Grill was very dirty, no charcoal to be found. Had to clean outside furniture before using.

We’re sorry. Every airBNB have certain items. We do try to provide and add extra things as needed. Like fresh towels extra linens etc. we don’t advertise soap or certain amenities because we don’t have them it’s in the description what we have or don’t down to a science

What the owners are NOT disclosing in their ad

*** There are more than 26 MAPPED SEX OFFENDERS around this location as of this posting *** There is NOT ONE single picture of the outside of the unit you will be staying in. The units are stacked within feet of each other WITHOUT window coverings in the upstairs part where children stay. The units on both sides can see right into the unit where my children were going to stay. If I would have seen the outside of the unit I never would have stayed at this location. The “streets” are dirt roads which turn to mud after a rain. There is no “designated parking space” but rather a spot next to the unit off the road. If you have a truck it will stick out in the road and cannot be avoided. Do YOUR OWN RESEARCH BEFORE you find yourself in position myself and my family were in over the several day holiday vacation. My brief stay was a nightmare which could have been avoided if I would have spent just a few more minutes doing some additional research. ⁃ Google: “Water's Edge on Lake Conroe RV Resort, Willis, Texas” ⁃ Google: “Texas Sex Offender Registry Map” and enter the address shown for the “Water's Edge RV Resort” that matches this listing ⁃ Zoom Out a little after you enter the address for Water's Edge RV Resort, click MAPPED, and you will see the results yourself Unfortunately, I substituted positive reviews for this location instead of taking a few more minutes to perform MY OWN additional research. I put too much trust in reviews and I find myself regretting that.

Enjoyed our stay. Water pressure could have been better in the shower, and the TV is in a ridiculous place making it very uncomfortable to sit & watch TV in the livingroom. These are really the only two things we could complain about. 4out of 5 stars

Bass Tournament lodging

House very clean and neat. A lot of rain prior to arrival some roads muddy. Had Bass boat behind a large pickup making parking a little difficult. Overall met my needs very well.

Tiny lake house

House was clean and plenty of room. 1 very small space to park. I drive a truck and the back of my truck stuck out in the toad. TV is mounted up by the ceiling so to watch it you have to look up to watch it. Batteries were dead in the remotes. I finally got one to work by switching the batteries around. Plenty of clean towels. All in all it was a nice weekend getaway. Would I stay again? Probably not. The stairway to the loft was difficult to navigate for me. Too small.
