Looking for a place to relax and get away from it all? Completely remodeled, first floor, and lake front, this is your answer. Gorgeous lake views from living room and primary bedroom, with attached patios on both! Lakeside Retreat has everything you need for a quick getaway or a month-long stay. Boating, swimming, fishing, dining, golf, and tennis are all on site or nearby. You will love it, so come stay awhile!

The condo is located in Harbour Village Condominiums at Walden on Lake Conroe. The unit is only a few steps away from the refreshing pool, which is open year-round. The grounds are well maintained, with charcoal BBQ grills, a trickling brook, and new landscaping. Bulkheads with cleats provide a place to keep your boat during your stay, and access to the Walden boat ramp is available. The condo is within walking distance to the neighborhood park/playground, and to the Walden Yacht Club (with an additional pool and two restaurants).

The condo is located in the Walden on Lake Conroe subdivision of Montgomery, with easy access to nearby towns of Conroe and The Woodlands. George Bush Intercontinental Airport is 45 miles from condo.

Lakeside Retreat is family friendly, offering books and games for both children and adults. It was created as a space to get away from the hustle of the city, to spend quality time with family and friends, and to relax and unwind. Book a stay, you won’t be disappointed. We stay at airbnb's often and this one is probably in my top 3! So glad the homeowners have decided to share their vacation home with others! Home is lovely, clean, back porch is super peaceful watching the ducks, gated community has a super safe feel, pool is a few feet from the door, the neighbors were so nice too---it was such a great weekend!!

Relax by the lake.

Very comfy and relaxing lakeside condo. Easy access to the pool as well. Park your boat just a few steps from the patio. Family friendly atmosphere.

Winter get away

Had a great time in the Walden area. Condo was clean, kitchen was well stocked, and enjoyed our view of Lake Conroe.

Property is excellent. Host is excellent. As mentioned, there are great water views, with a convenient location. It was great to have 2 balconies, and a first floor location. Properties is extremely clean and well-cared for…we look forward to a future stay! Thank you.

Wonderful Place

The condo is the perfect location if you have your own boat. Condo was very clean and beautifully decorated. A/C works very well which is important after a day on the lake. Totally enjoyed and will stay again.

Family Fun

This was the perfect get away for our family. The Lake was right outside the patio, the pool was a few steps away, and access to the Yacht club was icing on the cake! The owners were very attentive and helpful. Thank you!

Fantastic Condo

Check in process was seamless. Condo was adorable and clean. Beds were so so comfortable! A/C was cold and location was unbeatable! It was easy to launch the boat and it was a 10 min ride to the condo. Would stay again. Thanks Kendra!

The Best of Walden

This is the only unit I've rented at Walden for 2 years and there's a reason for that -- it's the best. There is no need to look any further. It's location is phenomenal with breathtaking views of the lake. A feeling of peace engulfs you as you enter the common area. The unit is clean and beautifully appointed. Highly recommend it.

Best 4th of July EVER!!

We are extremely pleased with our vacation over the week of the 4th. The condo is perfect! Clean, modern, with everything you could possibly need! Kendra was very open to communication and helped us out a great deal. She was amazing! The location is absolutely perfect! Beautiful waterfront views, easy access for swimming, and kayaking. Great amenities with Walden! We absolutely loved it there and no one was ready to go home!!

Perfect lake front property!

Lakeside Retreat was perfect! The lake views from the living room and master bedroom were beautiful, and it was so relaxing to start my day having coffee while watching the ducks in the cove. The beds were very comfortable and the condo had everything we needed for a great weekend (well equipped kitchen, shampoo, body wash, hand soap, paper goods, coffee/creamers). The condo was extremely clean and the decor was very nice. The location couldn’t be beat. We fished off the bulkhead and caught some catfish. We will definitely stay here again!

Phenomenal location!

I have been renting VRBO for many years, and hands down this was one of the greatest places we have stayed, not to mention, the host is easy to work with, attentive, and quick to respond. The neighbors are incredibly kind, and helpful. We also rented a jet ski, that we could tie off, directly in front of the location. In addition, with renting this location you also have private access to the boat ramp (I would use the North Ramp) and the pools, which on the water only takes 15 minutes to get back to the Condo by jet ski. There is also a great Tavern/Grill on the water less than a mile around the corner. Our kids, also enjoyed finished, right off the back porch! This vacation, could not have been better. HIGHLY reccomend, and we defintiely rent, again!

Beautiful lake view with walk outs from living room and master bedroom on ground level.

Very nice owners who responded immediately to questions. Initially keyless entry was tricky for me, so Kendra helped, and also supplied a hidden key if needed. Lots of parking and a coded gate for security. Nice pool. A beautiful lake with boat access directly in the back and a pretty brook in the front. The only problem was this brook attracts a lot of mosquitos and mayflies (in front), which may be just a seasonal problem. This condo is nicely decorated, very comfortable, a well supplied kitchen, nice king bed and bathroom in the master and a double bed and bunk beds in the 2nd bedroom, 3 large TVs, and a large stacking washer/dryer in 2nd bathroom (very handy). Basic accessories provided in bathrooms and kitchen, games and an eating/game table and chairs. There are 2 steps from condo entrance/2nd bedroom and bath onto the living room/kitchen/and master bedroom area. Really a very nice place to stay and Kendra was great! (She even ordered a blender when I told her I missed one!) I had a very enjoyable stay! Thank you.

Fabulous condo and hostess!

The condo was wonderful - beautifully decorated, comfortable furniture (except the metal dining chairs - made for size 6 butts, which I do not have :) Everything was clean, uncluttered, and so welcoming and relaxing. There were some snacks available, ice and filtered water from the fridge, coffee was provided, internet was easy to access, huge TVs... it was all wonderful. My only disappointment was something the hostess could not control - lake bugs (like mosquitos but they don't bite). They were so bad I couldn't go outside or open the doors for cool mornings/evenings, as I'd hoped when I booked by the lake. Next time I'll know to ask about the best time of year to go to avoid these critters. BUT... the view was still gorgeous from inside the condo, as the large glass doors in both the living room and bedroom offered unobstructed views. And the hostess was super responsive, kind, and easy to work with. I'd definitely recommend this property!

Being able to have direct access to the lake from our first floor unit is unparalleled! Cleats on the recently updated bulkhead provide you with the ability to keep your boat tied in front of the condo during your stay. This makes lake days so much easier! The condo was recently remodeled, and has well appointed, comfortable furnishings. Because this is our vacation home as well, we wanted to make sure the beds were super comfortable (including the memory foam sleeper sofa). In case of a rainy or cold day, all bedrooms and the living room have smart tv's, and there are books/games/magazines to keep you entertained. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you should need to make a home cooked meal. Our condo is not a party pad, and we do not allow parties or events of any kind. Our goal was to create a relaxing, serene vacation home for those that want to get away from it all. We are family friendly, and love receiving pictures of our guests having a great time at our condo. I truly enjoy being a host, and am happy to assist with anything during your stay.

The most exciting part of this condo is that it is on the first floor, with direct access to the lake! That being said, please be mindful if you are booking with small children, as there is no barrier between our condo and the open lake.
