Fully renovated waterfront cottage with private dock on Mill Creek in Lusby, MD. Located less than 45 miles from the capital beltway, next to Solomons Island, and only 15 minutes by paddleboard or car, with lots of shops and restaurants. Bring your boat and jet skis. There is a boat launch less than .5 miles from home. The perfect destination for fishing/crabbing, boating, water activities, or just relaxing with a book, watching the boats pass by from the living room or lawn.
The upper level is completely renovated, featuring a new kitchen, bath, and two bedrooms. The kitchen, dining, and living areas offer breathtaking panoramic views of the water. A wood stove and firewood are provided for the cooler months.
The lower level allows families and friends to spread out, featuring a Foosball table and a large leather sectional with a smart TV. A wet bar with a beverage fridge leads you to the shaded patio, featuring a teak dining table and an outdoor shower. The lower level also has a bedroom with a king bed and a set of twin bunk beds. The bathroom has also been fully renovated with a walk-in shower.

The home is located in a quiet, family-focused neighborhood. Please observe quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am while outside; noise travels over the water for very far distances. The maximum number of adults during the entire stay is 6, unless permission is granted in advance by the host.

This property is even more beautiful and well appointed than the pictures suggest. Location is awesome, view is incredible, and everything you could possible want is available (fire for fire pit, paddle boards, board games, puzzles). Will definitely visit again!

We spent a long weekend at this beautiful home. We loved the view and had crabs twice during our stay. Home was clean. I can only imagine how much fun it would be during the spring and summer months with all the options to take advantage of the water. Would love to return.

Location was perfect for attending a wedding at Rousby Hall. The house was very clean and provided so many amenities. We did not have enough time to spend outdoors. The view was wonderful and we all loved the windows. I also like that you have luggage stands/racks available in the rooms.

Great southern Maryland getaway!

I spent my summers with my grandparents in southern Maryland catching crabs and enjoying the water. This rental did not disappoint. The pictures and description are true to the property. We loved hanging out on the pier while the girls tried to catch crabs, paddle boarding down to Solomons and past my grandparents' old house, and eating breakfast with the most beautiful view. Thank you and we will be back!

Wonderful House and Location

Wonderful Family Vacation - Lovely Home!

My family had a wonderful stay relaxing, fishing and crabbing off the dock, paddle boarding and enjoying beautiful sunsets from this well appointed home. We didn’t have to bring much from home as there were many thoughtful items provided including sunsceeen and shampoo, first aid kits, and even bait. A memorable trip for my family - highly recommend and we would definitely love to stay here again!

Family Friendly Getaway

Beautiful house set on a beautiful property. The house has everything you will need to enjoy your stay. Our kids enjoyed crabbing/ fishing on the dock and the downstairs bedroom was the perfect area for all of them to relax at night. Also plenty of paddle boards and kayaks to enjoy on the water. A nice quiet area just to sit back and relax.

Very cute

Very cute house loved the interior seems great for a bigger family multi family and the dock with the kayaks and the paddle boards are perfect. Messed up my plans and the host was very accommodating for me. Definitely would stay here again.

Perfect cottage getaway to relax on the water

This is a wonderful home with a prime location on the water. The kitchen has everything you need, and the living room is set up comfortably. The outdoor space adds another dimension to the house. We enjoyed watching the sun set and being on the water. We'd love to come again.

Relaxing on the water

Host was quick to respond and very informative. We utilized the dock for fishing and crabbing. Host provided everything you would need to enjoy the time by the water. We even docked our boat there for a couple nights making it easy for us to come and go and relax on the water! Would definitely stay again.

House was beautiful and well thought out. Amenities were great . The view was so relaxing. The bedding was comfortable. I'm glad none of us had to sleep on the top bunk, it was too close to the ceiling. The outdoor fire pit was great. We would definitely go back

Boathouse on Mill Creek is a Gem!

The Boathouse on Mill Creek is top notch. We appreciated all of the design details and the very well equipped kitchen. Our group of 4 adults enjoyed paddling, sitting on the dock reading and watching all the activity on the water, cooking, and relaxing with great water views out the windows. Dee was immediately responsive and very helpful with local recommendations. Lots of activity options near by, but you won’t be in any hurry to leave this beautiful spot.

Absolutely perfect stay

I spent a long weekend at this property with family. The house is absolutely perfect and exactly as it’s shown online! The host thought of absolutely everything. The whole house was very clean and very comfortable. I didn’t think it was possible but the view is even better in person. Boat House on Mill Creek

A beautiful house and extremely comfortable! The views are amazing! We even went crabbing and everyone had a blast checking on the cages and eating them. We; unfortunately, had rain the first 3 days, but there was a great play place for the grands. And of course a great time to fish is in the rain. We had a fantastic family vaca. I can not recommend this place enough! My family wants to come back next year

Exceeded expectations

The property exceeded our expectations. The home and location were even better than pictured. We had a question about the HVAC. The property manager/owner responded promptly. We were very pleased with everything.
