We had a mom’s getaway. Perfect spot for us all to have our own space, nice kitchen for making snacks and drinks, great areas to hang outside in the shade. Loved the pool!!

Everything was great, the kids enjoyed it all. Especially the pool and the older ones loved the jacuzzi as well. Loved the location, Walmart was right down the road. Thank you very much.

Nice place to stay, close to the beach

The house was great for our family trip. 6 adults and 3 kids between 2-10. A nice pool and hot tub and plenty of places to sit and hang out.

Great Family Getaway

We took our grown children, their kids, and my mother for a 4 night vacation. The house was amazingly clean and well appointed. The owners communicated very professionally and promptly. The back yard was absolutely perfect and we enjoyed our stay so much!

Great Multi-Family House!

The house was great for our crew! We had multiple families staying, but there was plenty of space. We never felt like we were on top of each other. The kids loved swimming in the pool while we relaxed in the hot tub. Having updated appliances was such a great feature too!

From the very get-go, the hosts were responsive to our inquiries and concerns and even checked in with us half way through our 5 night stay to make sure we didn't need anything. The location was great as we were a stone's throw from the beach AND Moody Gardens. The home provided plentiful seating for our multi-family group. We enjoyed our stay so much and used ALL the amenities that were available to us. We plunged into the pool, soaked in the hot tub, burned a fire in the fire pit and lounged under the gazebos in the morning for coffee and a couple times for meals. We did not want for anything and our experience was over the top! Thank you!

Everything was okay, we enjoyed our stay at the house. The only thing was the place wasn't as well put together as the pictures seem. Roaches was roaming the house from time to time and we had a couple of rat friends in the back yard the 3 days we were there. The fridge almost ruined our meat because the temperature was would not set right. Hot tub also had a very bad chlorine smell, I don't know much about pools and stuff but just wanted to add that in. At the end of the day everyone in the house found these issues to be funny since we don't really mind. The host was not that friendly the whole time, just sounded like they had to get their job over with. I don't know really...

Great House

We normally stay at the owner's other house, but it was already booked so they told us about this one. Now we can't decide which house we like more. They even surprised us with some goodies for being recurrent visitors!

Mixed Experience - Great Space But Needs MaintenancePros:Ample Space: Easily accommodated our large group of 14 people.Comfortable Beds: Everyone slept well and the bed quality was great.Cons:Broken Hot Tub Jets: Only half of the jets in the hot tub actually worked.Cleanliness Issues: We found roaches on the bedroom floors and the BBQ grill was completely filthy.Bad Odors: Both the kitchen and laundry room had a strong, persistent smell of mold.Poor Arrival Prep: The patio furniture was not set up for our arrival, forcing us to do it ourselves. The tubs the cushions were in were wet from the rain the day/night before. Maintenance & Yard Work: The outdoor deck has rotting wood. Additionally, the yard was mowed during our stay, which kicked up debris and triggered a severe allergy illness for one of our guests.The house has great potential and plenty of room, but it needs a deep cleaning and maintenance.

Regarding the patio furniture, we had rain in the forecast before your arrival, so most of the cushions were intentionally stored away to protect them from the weather. Unfortunately, a few cushions that remained outside became wet from the storm the night before. We understand this may have been inconvenient, but our goal was to preserve the outdoor furnishings and have them available for your stay. We take all maintenance and cleanliness concerns seriously. During your stay, no issues with mold odors or pest activity were reported to us, which would have allowed us the opportunity to investigate and address them immediately. We also regularly service the property, including lawn maintenance, to keep the grounds in good condition for our guests. We appreciate your comments and will continue making improvements to ensure a great experience for future guests.
