Best host ever at this super cute, unique house. We were just popping in to see family and break up a long road trip but loved the house so much we wished we were staying longer. Love the decor and location. A/C worked great in summer heat, great parking, seamless check in extremely comfortable bedding and love the blackout curtains for snoozing in. We found it to be super family friendly in cute, walkable neighborhood. Already planning our next trip!

It was easy to find and close to many of the places we visited. The house was a great place to stay while we checked out the local antique stores. The host shared some gluten free restaurants where I could eat. The older home was remodeled well while keeping it's charm. The place was clean and I appreciated the easy parking beside the home.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blue House. Great locatiion, with easy access to ULL and downtown; fun and funky decor; and plenty of games and puzzles we could play together. The weather was chilly so we didn't get to use the porch swing but on nicer days, that would be sweet. Tyler was a gracious and repsonsive host.

Hey I am the owner of The Blue House! I am a local Realtor and outdoor enthusiast. I wanted to create an amazing space that my guests, friends, and family would love. This is what we came up with I hope you like it! I have way too many hobbies...I am a licensed skydiver, soccer player, snowboarder, hunter, dirtbike rider, boater, longboarder, cyclist, runner. You name it I probably do it. I love to travel and hope you enjoy my city!

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

For the last 10 years, I have been living in and renovating this beautiful old home now known as "The Blue House". It has become a local landmark around town ever since it got its new paint job which became the namesake. A lot of the repairs and updates I have done myself including painting the exterior that 'dynamic blue'! I had plenty of help along the way to transform this historic beauty back to its former glory with all the modern creature comforts. I hope you enjoy and take care of my home.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

There are countless benefits to staying here as opposed to another home or hotel. The location is impeccable. The Attakaps bicycle trail wraps around the corner that the house sits on and you are within walking distance to all that Lafayette has to offer. During the winter you can nuzzle up next to the old gas fireplace and in the summer enjoy the simple life as you rock back and forth on the front porch swing. Enjoy the big game on the 70" smart tv and enjoy any of the games we have on the inviting dining room table. Plenty of parking and plenty of space to feel right at home while you're away from home. The Primary bedroom features a kitchenette with a pull-out microwave, mini fridge, quartz countertops, and floating shelves! Also, a private deck and French door entrance. The primary bathroom has a second set of washer/dryer.
