This place was perfect for our family vacation (ages 4-83!). The host was very easy to communicate with and answered my questions, there was plenty of room to spread out inside between the two living areas, enough towels and linens for all 9 of us, and the outside fire pit area, deck, and dock made for a perfect summer trip. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Lakeview from 7/5-7/10, and wish that we could have spent another week. The home was an amazing fit for 6 adults, and 5 kids, ages 9-15. Everyone had plenty of room to come together, then spread out. Beds were comfy, furniture comfy, kitchen well supplied with cookware, dishes, silverware, utensils, and supplies. The view of the lake is so pretty, and the lake itself wonderful. We spent every night on the deck, enjoying each other and our view. We rented a pontoon, and the boathouse was such a plus. We had an amazing week of enjoying each other, this home, and the lake. John, our host, is easily accessible, and quick to respond with any questions, or concerns. We highly recommend this VRBO, and we are already planning our return stay next summer!!!

We book the house in April. The house needs a deep cleaning. Especially the Kitchen. The evenings were cool and there were not enough extra blankets. The comforters are for summer weather. The water smelled and was really rusty. Unpon arrival the water in the kitchen sink dribbled out of the faucet and no water came out of the downstairs faucet. Contacted owner and he promply sent someone to look at the problem. The faucet screens were clogged and never really worked well after the service man left. We had a hard time regulating the Airconditioning during the day and the last night of our stay we needed Heat because it was going down into the low 40's. The thermostate failed and we had no heat. No extra blankets.I would not recommend staying at this house. Very outdated and needs alot of TLC.

Dear Sherri, Thank you for your feedback—especially after your stay concluded. We’re sorry again for the brief heater issue on the final night, which, as noted, was addressed within hours. We do find it a bit surprising that several of the other concerns mentioned were either resolved promptly during your stay or never brought to our attention at the time, as we’re always happy to fix things when given the opportunity. For clarity, the home is professionally cleaned and maintained between each guest, and we consistently receive positive feedback reflecting that. We also note that accurate guest counts and real-time communication tend to help ensure the smoothest possible experience for everyone involved.
