La Casista

Overview

Treat yourself to a relaxing vacation in Orlando with a stay at this gorgeous town house La Casista Four bedrooms, all with TVs and Wi-Fi access and three luxury bathrooms can easily accommodate nine guests, providing plenty of space for everyone to have spread out and had fun.

Lower Floor

At La Casista you are greeted with an open planned living/kitchen area for all the family to gather. The teal accents of colour really gives it that pop! A crisp white leather wrap around couch, this living area is big enough for all to sit and recoup after a long day at the theme parks. The chef of the family can get the snacks ready in the state of the art kitchen, keep them company by sitting on the breakfast bar that seats four people. The kitchen has up to the minute appliances; wine and dine at the bespoke glass six seater dining table fit with white float effect chairs. This lower floor has a king bedroom, suitable for guests who would struggle with stairs or just like to be closest to the pool! Opposite is a family bathroom with a shower.

Upper Floor

Upstairs, you have yourself one king bed with an ensuite, one queen bed, one double bed and one twin bed. The family bathroom is just across the hall, complete with a large shower. On this floor there is also the washing machine and dryer. Every room is accompanied with its own flat screen TV too.

Outside Living Space

Take a dip in the splash pool! either after a day relaxing at home or to cool off after a long day at the parks. Escape reality in a book whilst laying on the comfortable sun loungers chairs, wine and dine on the outside dining area for some alfresco.

Story Lake Resort

One of the region’s newest destinations, the beautiful Storey Lake Resort is filled with amenities for the whole family. Compete against each other, or other guests, on one of the many sports courts or through a round of mini-golf. Entertain the kids at the playground and then cool off at the splash park, while floating along the lazy river, or playing in the resort-style swimming pool. Enjoy the diverse amenities of the clubhouse which features a fitness center, business center, spa and Tiki bar. As the name suggests, this resort also features its own lake on which guests can enjoy via a fishing dock and the canoe/kayak launch.

Upon arrival the gate doesn’t open, backed up cars, people honking yelling at each other(did not change for the 10 days we were there) door lock batteries to get in the house were about dead, there was obviously a flood in the house because it smelt funny and the trim on the stairs had mold, major dips in the flooring upstairs when walking. Water coming from the ceiling in a couple spots , light in the upstairs bedroom didn’t work. The tub showers are extremely squeaky so take your showers when no one is sleeping, paper thin walls you can hear neighboring conversations .

Location was great for the parks. Paid for pool to be heated and it was but still chilly in the afternoons when the sun was blocked by the building. Beds were comfortable but VERY loud when entering and exiting. I think the frames made the noise. Grill was great but no cleaning brushes. We put grate in dishwasher to wash.

Town home was beautiful. If you’re planning on staying in colder months the private pool heat is NOT included in the rental price they want to charge you 20 dollars per day to heat the pool. I was given 2 different address for the property one which was said to be located within walking distance to Disney parks. Which the true location of property is 15 minutes away from Disney adding parking to our trip. Talked to VRBO and owner was told they would get back to me before end of stay. Lots of added frustration. Been checked out for 5 days and no resolution. Called for early check in 2 hours early was told should not be an issue. Sent email night before we left and was told they could not accommodate the 2 hour early check in due to being to busy. Tried to call and no one was in the office to answer the phone. The complex was empty when we checked in.

Great Stay, we would return.

The place was very convenient to the Disney parks. The grounds were very nice and the pool area was well kept and relaxing. We would stay again. Just keep in mind that the back gate scanning device had such a hard time scanning the QR code to get in and we saw a lot of other people experience the same thing. But this was in no way a game changer: minor inconvenience. Host was very responsive. The unit itself was large, clean, and very nice.

Nice, huge family house and heated pool!

My 3 little kids loved this house and pool. It was very clean and the pool was nice and warm for them. Game machine is a fun added bonus. House is located close to everything. We enjoyed close travel to Disney while there. Extras like lazy river and resort pools added bonuses too. Would highly recommend and stay again.

Wouldn’t take much to make this property great.

Everything was clean, but the provision of a single laundry detergent and single dishwasher detergent, with only 1 hotel sized shampoo and body wash and 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom was a bit ridiculous for a week long stay in a 4 bedroom/8 person house. The property is also not a 5 min walk to Disney, as listed in the description (this should be updated to avoid confusion).Otherwise everything was good. I just don’t get the rationing. We’re on vacation, and no one wants to have to do dishes by hand or run to the store to buy toilet paper when they get there. Just a bit more comfort in that regard could take this to a 5 star listing
 (plus a bit of plastic wrap, or aluminum foil would be great!)

1-Ample and safe parking highlight this condo. Well lit at night the neighborhood is very friendly.Location is excellent. 20 -30 minutes to theme parks and terrific grocery shopping nearby. Access to all major roads right outside gates. 2- issues were inside. Management communication was quite poor, as they didn’t return phone calls or messages in a timely manner.3- When we arrived a note above the dishwasher reading “Sorry dishwasher broken, vendor arriving tomorrow”. No date on note, no one arrived. After contact was made by us we received 2 different versions. The dishwasher was working 3 days before we left. When we asked for some compensation we were told NO.3- On arrival we had a very challenging time getting inside the community. 4- lower level primary bedroom was extremely warm in March. We were told we could not set thermostat below 72 degrees as unit would freeze.5-the unit needs a deep cleaning. Downstairs intake register is beyond filthy and who knows when the air filter was changed!6- photos misrepresented what we found in Condo. Information was inaccurate in write up. No shower with tub in first level BR.7-Don’t know when photos were taken but furniture in great room especially dining room chairs were very worn and peeling.8- TV’s worked fine but getting them on was very perplexing.9- there is a gate quite close to the unit but entering is quite difficult, the exit gate was open for a few days. Be aware cars will attempt to enter exit gate.

The perfect place to recoup after a long exciting day.

Near everything Disney and Resorts.Private "heated " pool.Very clean. It had an old fashion video game like in an arcade room.Secure location and gated. Although the gate was a little struggle to get through. Sometimes I had to follow the person in front of me.Still... a great place!! I would stay there again.Thank you!!

I stayed here from 7/13 through 7/21 with my family of 6. It was our first family vacation and we had a great time. The property we stayed in was clean, the private pool was great, and there were enough rooms that we could all have some quiet time to ourselves. I really loved this property minus 3 pretty big things. The first thing was the aspect of the gated community. You get a parking pass with a barcode that you should be able to get in by scanning. It NEVER worked for the back entrance. This was the same with multiple families because the line to get in would back up to like 6 cars. You would have to hit the call button and they would just let you in without talking to you. With the last two or so days to the trip, the gate was completely broken and propped open with an orange cone. I wasn't really worried about my safety, but super inconvenient for entering the property multiple times a day. Another thing that I didn't know until it was a few days before our trip was that you are not allowed to set the AC below 72 degrees. I keep my house at 68, so I was worried about this since Florida is so hot. It was fine when you were downstairs, but when it was time for bed, the ceiling fans were so slow at the highest speed and my husband and I slept without blankets. The final thing that had me write a review at all was how Florida Property Rentals handled a situation on the last night of our trip. On our last day another family used a code and came in!

We had a difficult time with the code at the front door. Arrived after midnight and code was more working. Had to call for help. Gas grill was completely out of gas and had to have it filled in order to use it Was a nice large island in the kitchen but only 1 chair. Picture online definitely shows several chairs.

This was a very clean home. We had everything we needed for our 8 day stay. Although it was only 11 miles to Universal it took 45 minutes to get there. Orlando has really blossomed with people!

Great Offsite Option

We were very satisfied with our stay. The unit was very clean and well equipped with all we needed. The location is good and probably as close as you can get to the Disney parks without staying in the park. It is a 15 minute drive to each park as well as Universal which was what we expected. We didn’t have any issues but did have questions which were addressed very quickly. Overall, I would recommend this rental and give it high marks for cleanliness, location, and ease of rental process.

Great location and amazing pool and lazy river

We enjoy our stay! There were a few odd things like only one barstool at the kitchen island. The televisions weren’t working upstairs and the washing machine was dinging all hours of the night. We thought the house was pretty clean but not spotless. We thought that the carpet was very dirty and worn. The bed sheets were very worn and the pillows were very flat. We loved the location and the clubhouse area with the pool and lazy river. The location was perfect and close to the grocery store and Starbucks. We will definitely consider staying here again even though there were a few things that went perfect.

Very nice accommodations. Perfect for 3 couples. Enjoyed the pool when it was warm enough outside. So glad we had it heated. Beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were great. Very clean. We only had trouble finding how to get in the gate. Took awhile finding the attended gate, then the other gate by our condo would never open.
