Serenity on the Suwannee River Retreat

Take some time to relax and watch the river and your cares roll away. Home has high speed fiber internet. The front porch overlooks the Suwannee river and faces west for perfect sunsets while listening to the sounds of nature. This two bedroom one bath cottage has 4 acres of fully fenced land that is yours exclusively. Stroll the grounds and look for deer, rabbit or in the evening lighting bugs. Take a trip to the many springs that the area has to offer for swimming or world class cave diving.
This whole house rental is on stilts and has a wrap around porch so you can get 360 degree views!
Guest access
Parking is in the large roped-off area in the house. Please do not take down the ropes. Damage to the septic tank could occur.
Other things to note
There is a $300 deposit and a rental agreement will need to be signed before the gate and front door code are sent to you.
The address, gate code, and front door code will be sent to you no more than 24 hrs in advance of your reservation.
The house is on stilts so you will have to go up a flight of stairs to get in/out of the house.
The Suwannee River's current is very strong. Host/Owner/Serenity on the Suwannee is not liable for any injury if guests choose to swim in the river. There are many close springs that are close and are a great place for swimming.
There are 3 external cameras on premises. One on each set of stairs, and a third on the northwest corner of the house facing the river access gate.

It was great experience, starting with the cleanest house, the internet work perfectly, but nothing beats the view. We like to travel and go away from home for a couple of days, but never went to a place like this. The peace and the quiet beats the beach. I am 55 years old and never watch so many stars, beautiful. Put it in your calendar for you next vacation

Serenity on the Suwannee lived up to its name! We enjoyed a peaceful 4 days listening to the birds and cicadas, watching fish, deer, and fireflies, and exploring local springs. The property is beautifully kept, very family-friendly, and well stocked with every-day necessities. Our 2-year-old and 4-year old enjoyed running the lawn while my husband and I swung in the hammock with the baby, and we all enjoyed watching the thunderstorms from under the house. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect place to unwind.

Perfect house and property to get away from the busy life. We enjoyed the porch in the morning and the games and the fire pit in the evening. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Our stay was great, the house was comfortable and all as expected.. we enjoy the sunsets and all the amenities. We loved the downstairs seating area and spent a good time by the fire ring as a couple of nights it hit 30 degrees… we got to see Deer..and Turkeys near the property and watch the river flow…

This is a very secluded place with a fenced in yard which was nice for the boys to be able to play outside safely. We enjoyed playing corn hole and sitting on the front porch looking at the river. We enjoyed our time there.

February get away

We stayed at Serenity on the Suwannee for the entire month of Feb. to get away from the cold weather in MN.Its a wonderful property, very comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the springs and hiking in the area. We would recommend this property to anyone who wants a quiet peaceful place to stay. The outdoor living space under the house is very nice, we watched tv out there most evenings.R & T

Great Getaway

We rented this home as a getaway with some friends for my husbands 40th. We stayed three nights a loved it. The property is so private and beautiful. Dave made the booking process easy and was great about offering suggestions on places to go and things to see. The home was clean and well appointed.
