Fort Myers Beach Fun

Our fifth floor, gulf-view condominium (Building B at the Estero Beach and Tennis Club - EBTC) -- with spectacular water and beach views -- is situated on a white sand beach on the Gulf of Mexico. The waves are gentle, and the gulf-floor slopes gently to an offshore sand bar which provides seven miles of protected beaches. From our balcony we frequently spot dolphins playing in the Gulf waters.

After coming to EBTC for many years we recently purchased this condo and are committed to being good hosts. The spacious bedroom, which can be separated from the living area by a folding partition, has a king-size bed. The living room has a sleep sofa, TV and WiFi. The renovated kitchen is well equipped, including a dishwasher and garbage disposal, along with most items needed for cooking and dining in. The view from our balcony is perfect for watching both sunrises and sunsets.

There's an on-site heated swimming pool; two tennis courts and two additional courts that are lined for pickleball play (we provide a set of tennis rackets, pickleball paddles and balls for guests' use); and a shared laundry room with machines that accept coins and cards. There are several marinas, including one directly across from EBTC. A public trolley runs the length of the seven-mile island for a nominal fee.

On September 28, 2022 Hurricane Ian dealt a severe blow to EBTC and the Town of Fort Myers Beach. While facilities at EBTC are well on the way to being restored, the road to recovery for the Town of Fort Myers Beach will take some time. There are many encouraging signs of progress and a commitment by local residents to renew the community of Fort Myers Beach. It will be exciting to watch and participate in this process.
