Second stay and still enjoyed

This is our second time staying here. It was just an overnight stay so we could attend an event in the area. The place has plenty of beds and everything we needed. It's a beautiful area.

Business Event in Hiawassee

Just very easy, very clean, very beautiful and very peaceful. Such a cool and funky vibe without being obnoxious and an amazing view of the lake and surrounding mountains. The whole property has been recently remodeled and refreshed and the owners nailed it at every turn.

Nice cabin on lake

We just had a short stay, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The cabin was very well setup and exactly as described on the website. We were there for another event in the area, so we didn't make use of a lot of the options around the cabin, but I would definitely visit again. The lake options looked like they would have been fun.

What a hidden gem!!

Everything from Greg and Travis’s great communication and attentiveness to the gorgeous view was perfect! The newly renovated properties, the dock, the availability of equipment rentals ON SITE, the view, boat ramp, space for our dogs, fire pit straight out of a resort in Hawaii— this place went way beyond our expectations! We will definitely visit again!

My family just had a wonderful stay. The property was beautiful, clean and the little details made our stay a very memorable one. Lake and Mountain views were spectacular and we had fun fishing and making friends with others in the other cabins. The property contacts were great to deal with. Thank you. We will be back for sure.

We had such an amazing time! The house was very nice, comfortable and clean. The property was wonderful. Very kid friendly. The property manager was helpful and answered every question I had. If i could rate this a 10 I would. Book now you won't be disappointed.

Perfection in Hiawassee

This entire stay was an A+ experience. I had questions prior to arriving as well as during the week and these guys were on top of everything! The house was fresh and clean and all accommodating. The grounds were being worked on but nothing that got in our way. This place HAS to be on our list next summer for when they have everything completed! Basically we felt like we were living on a resort. What a wonderful place taken care of by amazing hosts. Thanks Travis, Greg and others!

Tranquille Resort Review

Overall, the property was great. Certain aspects of the interior needed work with small fixes that were minor frustrations. Fixtures that were not attached to the wall properly, dishwasher did not work, no washer and dryer, ceiling fans that were very noisy, just small things. The property was beautiful and the boat dock and boat rental was superb. That made the trip worth it since we were on a lake.

Hi Ronald! Thank you for your feedback. We’re shutting down in September for a full renovation of all of our rental units. We will be replacing the dishwasher & adding a washer & dryer as well as replacing all fans and light fixtures. The dishwasher has been fixed already, but I’m sorry for that inconvenience. BEST vacation ever!

We stayed in a cabin 5 (large house) for five nights in early August. We had 8 adults, ages 14-69, and two English bulldogs. The property manager, Jennifer, is amazing as are the owners. They were all super accommodating and extremely helpful. There is a grocery store (Ingles) only 6 miles away, so that’s a huge plus. We went swimming off the doc and lazed around on the second story. We rented the pontoon boat for a day and had an amazing time fishing with the kids/young adults. The fire pit and outdoor gas fire places were beautiful. BBQing was also a blast. We will be return customers! So happy that we found this place!

Pretty Lake View

Overall, we had a great experience. The owner/property manager was helpful and was quick to respond when we needed something. I will say I think this property is newly acquired by a new owner and may not be100% ready to rent just based on a few simple things you would expect w/ VRBO - like enough towels and hand towels (especially w/ no washer and dryer) and a broom for the kitchen. Also, I did not realize that the house is a shared space. The property manager stays in a portion of the house that is blocked off - not a huge deal, but we prefer privacy and would not have booked had we known. I will say the grounds and the little cottages on the property are adorable and it has a lot of great potential. We would definitely visit again, but may wait a few months until more renters come through and the management crew is more adjusted to managing this type of space.

Xmass with family

The property was being worked on and looks like it will be great in the summer with the lake. We were there to see local relatives so didn't spend much time there. Just a place to sleep. The owner is nice and on site. Looks like he just bought it and is fixing it up. Nice outdoor hang out area, with tables and fire pit overlooking the lake.
