Tranquill Resort

The cabin was super clean, very relaxiing and has water views all the way around. The resort is amazing, green, and very well taken care of. We rented the boat for a couple half days, it ran like a dream and the lake was just perfect. Steven and Jennifer were there for anything we needed. A hidden gem for sure! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

We absolutely loved staying here. Right on the water, beautiful and updated cabin. Everyone who worked there was very helpful and accommodating. Added bonus, we were able to bring our furbabies with us and they enjoyed the lake so much too. We will definitely be back again. Thank you so much!

Weekend Get Away

We enjoyed our short stay very much. Accommodations were nice, communication before and during our stay was very good, we were met upon arrival and we were assisted with unloading our boat. Upon check out they were there to assist loading our boat. Thank you very much.

Tranquillity

Spent July 4th week at tranquillity cabin #6. Small hick up with check in, but owner responded quickly to resolve issue. Travis property manager was a gem. We traveled from Charleston, SC to escape the heat & humidity, with our rescue dog Stella, who has cancer in her femur bone. Unfortunately we don’t know how much longer she will be with us. For that reason we were looking for a quite place to stay. This was her vacation, she just let us tag alone. Cabin #6 was perfect. Good location, close to town. We drove to different towns each day with Stella, found places in each town where dogs were always welcome. There’s so much to do for all ages, rafting, zip line, wineries, brewery’s, apple orchard, boating, tubing, visiting waterfall, hiking, antiquing just to name a few. In the afternoons after our day excursions, we sat outside with Stella, under the trees and enjoyed a glass of wine, taking in a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Looking forward to returning next summer to make new memories with our grandchildren and remember our wonderful stay with our beloved Stella.

If you’re lucky enough to find availability DO IT!!!

We stayed 4 nights and wished for more. Great natural lighting, clean, warm & inviting, stylishly designed. The lake is GORGEOUS and less than 25 feet from property and its amenities were great. Property within 5-15 minutes of grocery stores, fast food & chain restaurants, and loads of specialty shops and restaurants, go to the Hiawassee Package store try the HunchPunch Moonshine, they have many flavors, Hunch-Punch our favorite! Bed slept nicely though seemed like a full rather than a queen. Kitchen & Bath beautiful! I LOVE THIS PLACE ITS PROBABLY MY FAVORITE VRBO. Best wishes to the owner, thank you always be blessed!

Clean.

The listing is very deceptive!! We booked this home based off the photos showing the outdoor space for the kids to play and relax. It wasn't until after we booked the rental were we informed this space was shared with other cabins. Once we arrived we realized it wasn't "cabins" as advertised at all, instead a shared house that had been separated into multiple units. I have 3 small children so noise is abundant and I found it very stressful trying to keep my children quiet on their vacation to keep from disturbing the other families who were literally separated by a wall. Our unit had no parking access by the house, so we had to either walk entirely around the house with luggage/groceries or down a grassy slope to the back door.

Perfect visit

Awesome time! The property is beautiful and so peaceful. Enjoyed the gorgeous new dock and the view of Bad Mountain is amazing! We were even blessed to have a Bald Eagle sighting! Defiantly will be back!!
