The Getaway Chalet With A View

Come escape from it all at Lake Wallenpaupack! (2,800 sqft of usable space!). This lovely chalet has 4 bedrooms, a loft and a large bonus room. Stay inside and enjoy the stone fireplace, huge entertainment space on the lower level (with a pool table and fooseball table!), and river views from the expansive deck. Enjoy the community access to the Wallenpaupack river and "The Big Lake" - Lake Wallenpaupack. Bring the kids to the community pool, tennis court or fishing pond. Also including with your stay is gym access and a community entertainment space with a ping pong table. You can also hang outside by the fire place over looking the river! (Linens are not included)

Wonderful place to stay near the Lake. Everything was easy at this home, and it was very comfortable and accommodating for 7 adults over Labor Day weekend.

This home and host comes highly recommended. Our family of 9 ( dog) were extremely happy we chose this lakeside jem. The host was always available and followed up promptly to any questions and/or concerns. The home was perfect, the rooms were well sized, house very clean and amenities generous. Note: the kitchen was well stocked and perfect for a holiday gathering including large dinning table.

Wallenpaupack Getaway

The house was as advertised. Really nice deck for the morning coffee and the family of deer roaming the neighborhood were entertaining. The location was quiet and it was easy to take a quick drive to St Parks and trails.

Excellent Getaway

This is our family's third time to stay here and it was fantastic as always. Makayla is always such a pleasure to work with at VRBO and the home is beautiful as well as the surroundings. The only problem is having to leave!

Nice place for a couples get away. We love places with outdoor fire pit but unfortunately couldn’t use due to burn ban in place. Great game room. We enjoyed pool table and air hockey table.

Another great family vacation

Relaxing Time Away

Our family enjoyed a relaxing, quiet time away. There was plenty of space and the layout of the first floor was great for a large family. The deck was thoroughly enjoyed! The only item I would mention is that it does not have central air as there are only window units in the three bedrooms.

Great getaway

Great layout for a group. The house and particularly the kitchen are well stocked. Large dining room table is a real plus. First and second floor bedrooms have window-air conditioners. Only complaint is the basement is a bit musty even with the dehumidifiers.

Weekend in the woods

Very nice house in the woods on the quiet end of Lake Wallenpaupack. Beautiful setting, view and home. We had some rain but the kids loved all the games in the basement. Excellent host and very reponsive, attentive, and accomodating. Enjoyed the getaway. Thank you for sharing your home!

Awesome getaway!!!

We had a great time at this house. We were looking to get away for the weekend and this house was perfect for that. Makayla was extremely helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We couldn't get out much to explore the area due to the weather but we really enjoyed staying in and not worry about a thing. We plan to come back during the summertime so we can explore the area better.

There was endless amount of love and thought put into this new home. Everything from the stone fireplace, the expansive outside deck, plenty of sleeping space and entertainment areas, this house screams relaxation! Enjoy the Wallenpaupack River or Lake with the community access points off Ledgedale Road. Please note the home does not include linens (feel free to reach out with any questions you have!)

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This home has access to both Lake Wallenpaupack and the Wallenpaupack River! It's just a couple minutes away from a boat launch. There is plenty of parking! The home has a beautiful layout, perfect for making memories with family. There is plenty of sleeping space and could be perfect for 2 families to share! The owners of this home really enjoy using it with their family, and they love that other families get to enjoy the home when they aren't there. It is an awesome home in a lovely area.
