Escape to Wooden Bliss, a spacious 4 bedroom + loft family cabin in Tahoe Donner! Comfortably sleeping 10 adults, this retreat features a private hot tub, game room with foosball, and a Tesla charger. Nestled in the pines, it's the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities for your mountain getaway. Enjoy vaulted ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen, and two patios for ultimate relaxation.




We respect our guests' privacy and aim to provide a seamless, independent stay. We will not be present on the property during your visit but are readily available via the messaging app should you need any assistance or local recommendations. We will provide you with a printed house manual and digital guidebook to help answer any questions that may come up. Our team is available 8am - 9pm PT.

Please note, the hot tub is serviced on Wednesdays. The technician will likely not need to interact with you during your stay, but please be aware somebody will be checking and servicing the hot tub on Wednesdays.

Tahoe Donner is a quaint, family oriented community. Tahoe Donner is perfectly situated near some of the best ski resorts in Tahoe. This includes North Star, Palisades, and Sugar Bowl. We are on a major road with good snow plowing and clearing during the winter months. In the summer, it's only a 10 minute drive down to Donner Lake. There are also tons of running and biking trails right down the street, in addition to a beautiful golf course.

Guests will have full and private access to the entire home and its amenities, including the private hot tub, patios, and game areas. The only exceptions are a few locked owner's closets and cabinets, which are clearly marked for storage. Feel free to make yourselves completely at home.

The driveway can fit up to 4 cars and there is room for 1 car in the garage.

Step into the main floor's open-concept living area, where beautiful vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with abundant natural light. The fully equipped kitchen is ready for any culinary adventure, complete with multiple coffee-making options and all the cookware you'll need.

After a day of Tahoe adventures, unwind in the inviting living room with a Samsung 75-Inch Smart TV, or gather for fun at the 6-seater game table with our collection of board games and puzzles. Step outside to enjoy the fresh mountain air on two patios. One overlooks the entrance, while the other features a Weber Grill and offers views of the private backyard hot tub—perfect for a relaxing soak under the stars.

The Cabin is located 15 minutes from downtown Truckee, approximately 25 minutes from Northstar Ski Resort and about 3 hours from San Francisco. Lake Tahoe is a quick 20-25 minute drive. Other ski resorts, such as Squaw and Alpine Meadows are very close as well! The opportunities are endless! Lyft, Uber, and Taxis operate in the greater Truckee area.

To ensure a transparent and wonderful stay, please review these important details:
- Hot Tub Cleanings: We schedule hot tub cleanings ahead of all guest arrivals. In the event the hot tub is serviced on they day of your arrival, the spa may still be heating up do to a recent cleaning. If you notice the spa is not hot when you get to the house, please notify us so we can check with the company to confirm this is expected.
- Rental Agreement: Please refer to the Rental Agreement for a full list of the local STR Rules.
- No Air Conditioning: Like most homes in Tahoe, our cabin does not have AC.
- Mountain Life: Dust and pollen can accumulate quickly on outdoor furniture. The BBQ and other outdoor furniture may be stored and unavailable during winter (typically October- May).
- Weather & Travel: A 4WD/AWD vehicle, chains, or snow tires may be required in winter.
- Uncontrollable Events: We are not responsible for uncontrollable circumstances such as poor air quality during wildfire season or snow during winter. We strongly recommend purchasing external trip insurance, as our cancellation policy will be upheld.
- Safety: The home is equipped with smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, and a first aid kit for your safety.
- No access for Tahoe Donner amenities
- Emergency Power Outage Kit: Located in the first drawer of the kitchen island, this kit contains 4 lanterns, 1 flashlight, and 12 tea lights for reliable illumination during power outages.

We would love to welcome up to 2 of your furry friends with you during your stay! Maximum 2 dogs (30 pounds or less and don't shed) are allowed with advance notice of reservation. Pet fee must be paid prior to arrival. Please be aware that our pet fee is specifically for cleaning purposes.
We have a dog bed and bowls for your furry friends on the main floor.

Dog Rules:
- Please make sure all pet excretion is picked up in the backyard and around the property.
- Please clean any excess pet hair from the furniture to help the cleaners prepare the home for the next guests*.
*Additional cleaning fee may be applied if there is excessive pet mess.
