The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops. Direct beach access is always a feature at this retreat. This coastal condo is perfect for your next beach-cation! It's well-equipped with everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. The kitchen has been equipped with all the essentials, including a stainless steel French door fridge. The living area is all about comfort and coziness, with inviting furniture and a TV. Make your way over to the private balcony and get ready to experience a picture-perfect sunset that will blow your mind. The on-site washer/dryer adds convenience to your stay.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026.
Occupancy limits include all children and cannot be exceeded.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Amazing & Relaxing

I wished I had booked this place longer! This place was exactly what we needed to relax and recharge! Everything was clean and the check in and check out was seamless! The views are amazing! I absolutely loved everything about it. I will definitely be using this place again when I come to Ocean City!

Perfect place!

This condo was exactly what we expected. It was beautiful and right on the beach. Dont let the lobby fool you... it definitely needs updating but the condo itself was perfect! Will definitely stay there again.

Loved it!

We absolutely loved our stay! The condo was so comfortable with amazing views of both the beach and the bay. The condo is beautifully decorated and there are lots of amenities and a great welcome booklet from the hosts with great food and entertainment recommendations. Plus, it's right on the beach! We will definitely be back to stay again.

enjoyed the stay

stayed during the thanksgiving break, and everything was same as the listing. However, found several hairs from the sheets and some of kitchen equipments were missing or needed to repair, but wasnt a big deal. overall enjoyed the stay.

The redecorating was excellent. HOW EVER, the fitted sheets- don’t; the bayside sliding doors -don’t, we should get a credit for the lack of maid service for week 2 and the stovetop and sink lights - don’t. A lot of issues given the 50% rate increase.

Birthday for mother in law

My mother in law had a condo in Ocean City for many years. She sold it when she retired to Florida. When she came to visit Maryland for her 83rd birthday she wanted to stay in OC. The condo was perfect for a group of adults. Each couple had their own full bath. The view was amazing! We will definitely be back and would like to rent the same unit. Only a few small issues- there was an air freshener in the unit that was very strong. We couldn’t locate it. Also, whoever was there prior to us messed all the TV’s. We were able to get all but one working. Finally, a picture fell off the wall in a bedroom because the sticky strip wore out.All minor things. All in all, a wonderful place. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Family Beach Trip

I loved the location. We could walk right on to the beach from the property. The condo unit was nice, however there were concerns with cleanliness and up keep. There was quite a bit of dust in the tracks of the window and sliders. The lock in the slider in the living room was broken, which was concerning for the children. The screen slider in the master bedroom was off track so I couldn’t access the balcony as I didn’t want it to come out. Found a contact lenses on the night stand in the master bedroom. The shower pressure was too hard for my daughter to use and it could not be adjusted as it appears the dial to adjust was broken off. We did make them aware, but was not taken care of before we left. Hopefully they addressed once we left for the next guest to enjoy.

Beautiful unit - but...

SO, this unit was perfect for 99% of the population. I have no issues with it or the building, etc... All was terrific. HOWEVER, I think VRBO is a bit misleading defining "Handicap accessible vs. wheelchair accessible" this is not the first time this has happened to us on VRBO. When doing a search, this unit among many others, came up as wheelchair accessible, which it was not unless you're using a child's custom wheelchair less than 27" wide. We could not get a wheelchair in any of the bathroom doors and it made the vacation, slightly less comforting. For the 99% of the population not needing use of a wheelchair, this unit is perfect. For the impaired 1% that NEED it to be as queried, VRBO dropped the ball.

The room itself was laid out very nicely, and although there was some stains in the carpet and some wear and tear items like knobs coming off, closet, doors, etc., it was a very nice room. The two balconies were very nice to have especially when the sun is beating down on one side or the other there were a few very annoying things.1) The door lock was extremely temperamental even when you figured out how to use it. In my opinion, a 10 digit code is completely ridiculous. A 4 digit code gives 10,000 possibilities, so I don’t see the need for 10 digit code.2) The doorstop would not stay up and every time you tried to close the door, it would fall down and jam against the tile. Every time you had to close the door, you had to hold it up in the air.2) The air-conditioning was not the greatest. It wasn’t really even that hot during our stay, only in the upper 70s. I cannot imagine would it be like their on a very hot day. And then you were told to not put the air-conditioning below 70. People in the bedroom closest to the air conditioning were very cold, but the master bedroom which is farthest from the air-conditioning unit was warm .4) There was no direct elevator access to the most important level which provides access to the beach, pools, and tiki bar area.You had to go down to the ground level and go up a flight of steps, or get off at the first floor and go down a flight of steps. This was very hard for the two people we were traveling with. We would not revisit.

Stunning View

This condo was great, it was large enough for a family of 4 and it would have been fine with 2 more. The kitchen had as sitting area that offered great views of the beach and ocean. From the master bedroom you could hear the waves at night. The back balconies offered a views of the sunset. The walk to the beach was right out the front door and we used the outdoor pool every day as well. We enjoyed our stay.

Great for three couples

Hard to find an updated 3BR/BA. We wish it would have been warmer but nice unit, fully stocked and beautiful kitchen. Loved the dinner dishes but they are too big for the dishwasher and need to be leaned to the side.

Best of OC

My family of 5 have stayed at many place in OC, and this unit is by far the best. The views were breathtaking on both the ocean and bay side. The unit was clean and very spacious. Everything from the kitchen to the bathrooms are all updated. I look forward to staying here again in the future.
