We absolutely loved this cottage. It was immaculate and very cozy.The owner, Wendell,could have been any friendlier or hospitable.We walked to town to have lunch and shop. The kitchen was adequate for our needs and the bed was amazing. We in fact will return to this property for another weekend get away !

The cottage was great. It was beautifully kept and very warm and peaceful. We had everything we needed including beach towels. The setting was beautiful and we were in walking distance of the water, restaurants, and shops. The hosts were very nice and provided information about area restaurants and sights to see.

Another splendid visit to Beaufort NC

Excellent location for me as it’s very close to family I have there. This was a repeat visit to this lovely property. It is private, quiet, up to date, tastefully furnished, comfortable and spotless. I hope to return as much as I can.

Perfect weekend getaway!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house is exactly as pictured/described - very clean and well stocked with the essentials. It is in a very cute, quiet neighborhood that is walkable to downtown Beaufort, so no need to drive around looking for parking spots! The hosts were lovely and responsive when we had any questions - would definitely recommend staying here!

Cottage, location and hosts- all wonderful!

We have stayed in many VRBO properties and this one rates at the top. We spent eight nights here. It was the perfect location to explore this beautiful area, including the Southern OBX. It is a 15 minute walk to the beautiful waterfront. We golfed twice - the nearby Crystal Coast Country Club was stunning. Wendall and Dawn are wonderful hosts. We were greeted with warm blueberry muffins. The cottage is tastefully decorated, the kitchen is well equipped, the bed is comfortable. Coffee and cocktails on the little porch were most enjoyable. This is a gem, one we highly recommend and we hope to return!

October trip to Beaufort

My wife and I stayed at this house for our 34th anniversary and absolutely loved it! It was perfect for the two of us. We met the owner and he was very nice. Easy walk to downtown Beaufort. We plan on staying here the next time we visit Beaufort.

Cozy, comfortable, convenient

This cozy cottage was terrific. Furnishings were pleasantly comfortable. Two hearty, delicious scones awaited us upon arrival. It was a quick drive or a pleasant walk to downtown. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Cottage

We were very comfortable and the place was very clean. Only suggestions is we didn’t know WiFi password, a floor mirror would be nice for us ladies, maybe an extra roll of toilet paper and a sponge to wash dishes. Other than that, the location was perfect, owners were very friendly and we would definitely stay there again!

A GEM OF A COTTAGE

A visit to Beaufort, NC, should include a stay at this wonderful little cottage! It has everything that you will need, and it is also creatively and lovingly decorated. The little kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed 2 homemade scones that were left on the table. And Google Assistant was even there to give us information about the area when we needed it! Our hosts, Wendell and Dawn, were there to assist if we needed anything at all. Thank you! And the property that the cottage is on, along with the main house, is beautiful! If you ever want to spend some time exploring Beaufort and the surrounding area, you won't regret staying at this gem of a cottage!! Enjoy!

Weekend in Beaufort

Beautiful and comfortable little property and a lovely location. We enjoyed our stay - peaceful location with a pleasant walk down to the town center - next time we'll probably bring our bikes.

Perfect place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay here while in Beaufort! Wendell and his wife are wonderful hosts. The place is very clean and well kept. It was the perfect space for two people. It’s a beautiful walk along the water to the shops and restaurants on Front St (took us about 20 mins). Had everything we needed for a comfortable three day stay. Absolutely nothing negative to say and would happily stay here again!
