Welcome to our cozy 2-bedroom 2-bathroom vacation home, located just 7 minutes away from Manasota Beach. Other beaches, shopping, restaurants, and gulf courses are a quick drive away.
Whether you are visiting family, friends or are just looking to relax and unwind, our cottage is the perfect place to stay.
After a long day at the beach, go for a relaxing swim in the saltwater pool, heated to 86F from October to April (during unusually cold nights, the water might not reach the desired temperature), or just hangout on the screened patio.
The kitchen is fully stacked with all of the essential to prepare your favorite meals. A gas grill is provided for your use. Stay connected with the free Wi-Fi and enjoy your favorite movies or TV shows. The living room has a 58” smart Roku TV with Youtube TV (Cable channels). The master bedroom also has a smart TV.

When it's time to relax, retreat to the cozy bedrooms, where you'll find plush linens and essential amenities like towels, basic soaps, and a hair dryer. Refresh with the air conditioning or warm up with the heating system, and don't forget to take advantage of the washing machine and dryer for a hassle-free vacation.

A delightful, quaint, meticulous house with a pool in a local neighborhood. A short drive to historic Venice, the beach and walking trails as well as shopping and museums, etc. The extra touch of assortment of morning coffee and snacks was appreciated!!!

A great little place!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few nights for a long weekend getaway. The pool with a screened lanai was a great outdoor place to relax. We also really enjoyed all the nice little personal touches such as charger cords in each room, coffee/tea bar, and a basket of snacks/waters. The neighborhood is very quiet. We really enjoyed our stay!

Quiet, clean and great amenities

My family of four loved staying here. The hosts included everything we needed for a relaxing stay. New well-stocked kitchen, reliable high speed wifi, comfortable beds, pool, and lots of beach gear for a day trip. Prompt communication from hosts when we had questions. The coffee bar and snack basket were an extra welcome treat!

Great little get away

We had a wonderful time visiting Venice and staying at this house. Everything looked exactly like the photos. It is a very cute pool home. Everything you need is there....very well stocked. We enjoyed our stay and LOVED the pool. The owners are very attentive and nice :) We will definitely be back.

Beach Time

From the moment we opened the door we felt completely at home! Hosts were over the top accommodating. Each night we ended our day in the pool. We are looking forward to our next visit and will rent this home again.

Lovely home- very clean and if you have forgotten anything, most likely it’s there! The pool is great! The a/c went out in the middle of the night Friday. I sent a message at 7:30am- he was there at 8:00 followed by hvac. It was fixed by 9- grateful! Would definitely recommend

The Place with Everything you Need!

We can't say enough good things about this VRBO. They provide you with absolutely everything you need to feel like home. Exceptionally clean! Quiet neighborhood, private pool with additional secondary fence around property. Excellent for dog lovers. Kitchen had every utensil you could imagine. Coffee/ tea bar was a nice touch along with a few snacks and water bottles. Extremely clean. Bed was comfortable. Two tvs with cable. Definitely will book again if in the area.

Dear Don, Thank you for your review and for staying at our property. It is unfortunate that you did not mention the hot water wait time was a concern when we spoke during your stay. In fact, you stated a few times that you were very happy and impressed with the property and the amenities provided. The hot water delay is normal when it is not used for a while. Water that cooled off sitting in the pipes has to flow out before the hot water reaches the shower or faucet and that is normal in single family homes. Thanks again for choosing our property.

Everything you could need

Overall this property was a great place to stay for a family with kids. The property is in a neighborhood that you could say “local” Floridians live. The house itself has 2 nice bedrooms and a pullout couch that was very useful. It is just 7 minutes to the local beach which is awesome. The pool was amazing and was used quite a bit during our stay. The hosts were probably the best I have experienced thus far renting houses. Lastly the house is supplied with pretty much everything you need to feel at home. Literally everything but your daily food is there for you. We will surely stay here again when in the Venice area.

Awesome house!

This house was one of the best. Having stayed at multiple VBRO’s I am not often impressed. This home was great! The owners seemed to have thought of almost everything. The thing that impressed me THE MOST was the fully stocked coffee bar, nothing is more terrible after flying all day, getting in late and up early to then have to go find coffee…not an issue with this home, they had it ALL..its the small things that make the difference. Having phone chargers provided- the bomb, labeling cabinets and drawers in the kitchen- brilliant! My kids lived in the pool when not in the ocean, excellent pool area. Would definitely stay here again! Owners are very responsive, thanks for letting us stay!

"The Poolside" is nestled in a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds, yet close to everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Staying in the Bird Sanctuary you will see and hear many different kids of birds, turtles and geckos. The beloved Manasota beach is a quick car ride or even a bike ride away. The house features a split floor plan, with the common areas in the middle, great for gathering and relaxing, while the bedrooms are located on opposite sides of the house, for added privacy. Each of the bedrooms has its own full bathroom. The patio/pool area is spacious, sunny but also has a shaded area great for relaxing, entertaining or reading a book. This whole area is enclosed and has a brand new screen to keep the bugs away.

South Venice is known as the "Shark Tooth Capital of the World." Hunting for fossilized shark teeth that are thousands of years old, is by far the favorite activity of locals and tourists alike.
Additionally, we do not believe in basic rentals, therefore our rentals are stacked will plenty of extra items, to provide a home away from home experience. Our cottage is equipped with beach gear including a sand sifter, beach toys, 2 bikes and pool floats, so you can have all of the fun. The kitchen is very well equipped so that you can prepare your favorite meals. We provide fresh cotton linens, fluffy towels, cleaning supplies and toiletries.
