Nous, vos hÎtes, sommes un couple marié; Margarita est propriétaire d'une entreprise, Bob est un médecin. Nous sommes tous deux semi-retraités. Nos enfants ont grandi et ont quitté et notre place est sous-utilisé. Nous aimerions vous l'offrir.

Vous ĂȘtes les bienvenus pour rester dans notre maison. Nous avons un minimum de 4 nuits mais accepterons une location plus courte cet automne. La maison principale a deux chambres et une salle de bain. Il ya beaucoup d'intimitĂ©. Nous restons Ă  l'arriĂšre dans un chalet.

Veuillez noter que la ville de Berkeley a commencé à appliquer une taxe de 14% pour les séjours de moins de 14 jours. Cela a commencé le 01/09/17. Si vous louez notre maison, vous devrez nous la payer directement et nous la transmettrons à la ville. Il n'y a pas de taxe pour les longs séjours. Nous avons un certificat de zonage # ZCSTR2017-0022.

Cet automne, nous pourrions proposer un tarif inférieur à notre tarif habituel de 200 $. 00 / nuit. s'il vous plaßt contactez-nous à ce sujet. Pendant certaines périodes, le tarif est de 250 $. 00 / nuit Le tarif pour la semaine de Thanksgiving et la semaine de Noël sera de 250 $. 00 / nuit.

Notre maison est méticuleusement entretenu, propre, aéré, et entiÚrement équipé. Il est situé dans ce qui est généralement reconnu comme l'un des quartiers les plus recherchés de Berkeley, à proximité de merveilleux restaurants, boutiques et rues piétonnes.

Il existe un accĂšs facile et rapide au centre-ville de San Francisco via les transports en commun; Les stations de bus et BART sont facilement accessibles Ă  pied depuis notre maison.

My family really enjoyed our stay at Bob and Margarita’s. The house was absolutely spotless. I’m a neat freak and I was so impressed by how clean and well kept the house was. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance, tool, and spice you’d need to make a meal. They left us coffee, bread, wine. There were tons of towels and extra pillows, dish detergent, and toilet paper. We didn’t have to run out to buy anything and it made the trip so relaxing. The beds are comfortable, the heat works, the living room is cozy. Communication with the hosts was super fast, clear, and friendly. The area is very quiet and walkable to several different little areas with great food and coffee options. This was easily the best rental experience I’ve had.

We stayed in this Berkeley house for 2 weeks in August. It was a perfect location and a very comfortable, impeccably clean house. Near to restaurants and cafes, ample parking on the street, short walk from bus stops and with a sweet public library right around the corner. All rooms exactly as pictured. The living room had comfortable furniture for lounging and the dining room was great for a couple of dinners with family and old friends in the area. There's a lovely back deck, perfect for afternoon through early evening (though a bit chilly in the AM when the fog or clouds hadn't yet burned off). There are steps in the front, but you can enter from the rear of the house via a ramp. My brother and his partner visited and kept remarking on how amazingly clean and fresh the space was. Our hosts were easy to reach and very helpful. The kitchen is a little small (but not so small by our NYC standards), very well equipped. We had a lovely relaxed time and would definitely consider coming back for future trips to the East Bay.

Month long visit

The house was in a lovely part of Berkeley, convenient to everything and was FULLY equipped for a month’s stay. The hosts had thought through everything down to a first aid kit and a lovely bottle of wine. We could have had a dinner party, the kitchen was so well furnished.While the house could accommodate more guests, there is only one bathroom. That was fine for the two of us, but a little intimate for more than family.

Lovely home

We returned to the Bay Area to explore eventually retiring there since we went to college at UC Berkeley and Santa Cruz. Bob and Margarita's house was perfect in so many ways! In a nice area of town, close to fantastic restaurants, the campus, and with easy access to SF across the bay and Marin County, we took daily day trips to the ocean and other favorite spots! The house was nicely decorated, very clean and had every little thing one could want. The hosts made themselves easily available if we had needed assistance-which we did not. Probably the best VRBO we have ever had! Will stay again if we can.

Wonderful

This is our second stay and both times the property and hosts were wonderful. Beautiful sunny house, quiet street, excellent location, clean and well stocked. The hosts are excellent communicators, friendly and welcoming, let us check in a few hours early, left some delicious fruits and wines for us. We love staying here and hope to be back someday.

Charming home in a beautiful location

We had a wonderful, restorative stay at this charming home. The property is meticulously maintained and outfitted with everything we needed. It is convenient to great markets, interesting restaurants and the surrounding neighborhood has many beautifully landscaped yards that make walks a treat. Beautiful Home and Neighborhood

We immediately felt at home in this beautiful home. The owners had thought of every detail to make our five week stay a five star experience. The back porch made it possible to entertain outdoors to avoid exposure to covid etc. The neighborhood is ideally situated to enjoy Berkeley highlights like Monterey Market, Gourmet Ghetto, the Rose Garden, Solano Ave, and Tilden Regional Golf Course. Plus Sonoma and Napa are an easy day trip. We look forward to returning!

Refuge and Launching Pad

This is a lovely home in a quiet, leafy neighborhood, convenient to the many restaurants and cafes along Solano Ave. The Bart train is nearby, which takes you in and out of San Francisco. Grocery markets, including the fabulous Brooklyn Bowl, are also a short drive away. In general, this is a wonderful spot to explore the best of the Bay area.

Great place, even better location!

The craftsman style of this house made me feel right at home, since I grew up in one...it was perfect for two of us, and up to four would be comfortable if you don't mind sharing a bathroom. The kitchen is small, but the breakfast nook added space. Living room furniture and beds were very comfortable and everything was very well stocked. Terrific formal dining room. Most importantly, the location was almost perfect for our purposes: lots of shops, cafes and restaurants in walking distance or a very short drive away, including the wonderful Monterey Market (probably one of the better produce markets in California, if not in the US) and even better Monterey Fish Market. Street parking only but we never had problems parking either directly in front of the house or right across the street. We used BART several times to go to San Francisco: the North Berkeley station is about a mile away and not a difficult walk, although on the weekends parking in the BART lot is free and easy. Bus ilnes stop very close to the house. Highly recommended and I would (will!) go back in a heart beat.

Nice House

Perfect location to explore Berkley. Close to Solano, Monterey Market (top), to Shattuck Avenue (you can go by foot to Chez Panisse – still wow). By car a few minutes to downtown an the University ... House is very clean. There is a nice little Porch and the Kitchen is topp! Safe Place. Nice Neighborhood.

We didn't buy it as a vacation rental. It is our home. You will have full use of the appliances, dishes, etc. and you can use the staples and spices you find in the pantry and the refrigerator.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Great location. Walk to UC Berkeley. Solano Avenue with its shops and restaurants is just 3 blocks away. An express bus to San Francisco is two blocks away. You can walk to the North Berkeley BART station;. it's just a little over a mile. If you don't know about the climate in our area let us tell you -- it seldom gets very hot in the summer (almost no one has air conditioning) or too cold in the winter (no frost or snow). Winters can be rainy and cool and at times cold. It almost never rains all summer long but it can be foggy and cool. Our usual summer weather may features fog or clouds in the morning clearing by Noon, then bright sunshine all afternoon, and then cooling in the evening. In the summer we can have spells when it is overcast for few days at a time. September is frequently our hottest month. In the winter it can be drizzly or rainy for days at a time or warm and sunny for days at a time or bright sunny and warm for days at a time.
The neighborhood is fabulous. Tree-lined streets, homes with beautiful landscaping, lots of flowers even in the winter. Shopping streets a few blocks away are lined with boutiques, cafes, restaurants of all kinds, specialty food stores, a great bookstore, etc. You'll have fun just walking around. One of the county library branches is a block away.
