Tucked in the highly desirable Nubble Lighthouse neighborhood, this pristine beach cottage is just a 12-minute walk to Long Sands Beach and 15 minutes to Short Sands Beach, where you’ll find family fun, restaurants, shops, Bowl-A-Rama, the arcade, and York’s Wild Kingdom.

The Little Guy is a Perfect Home Away from Home

My Mom and I really enjoyed staying at The Little Guy for the 2nd year in a row. The house is just perfect for us and my dog and has everything we might need. I loved walking around the neighborhood and the house is so close to The Nubble, the beach and everything we love in York. We highly recommend and want to go back!

Items in the house

The location was great and the house was a perfect size for me and my 10lb. dog. I did find that the pillows need to be replaced. There is hardly any filling in them. Also a I was unable to use the can opener as it was very dirty. It needs soaking with bleach and to be scrubbed or just buy and new one and check it when housekeeping there and have them clean it. Otherwise enjoyed this little home.

The Little Guy never disapoints

We have been renting this property for a weeks vacation for several years. Only years we missed were the Covid period. The cabin is SO comfortable and homey that we really never consider another property in York for our visit. Since we were there last the improvements we noticed were the ductless AC/Heating units, new windows, new wooden blinds. All good! If someone is looking for a quiet spot to stay in York (good for 2-4 people) we would strongly recommend the Little Guy. Also, the folks at Salt & Shine were fantastic to deal with. Quick on the response to our e-mails. Answers to any questions we had regarding the property. Overall a wonderful week in a beautiful home.

Perfect house to make memories

This house was exactly what our family was looking for and it allowed us to bring our dog with us. It’s located on a quiet street and it was a manageable distance from the beach. We would recommend this house to any family looking to make memories in York.

Peaceful Little Guy

Very comfortable accommodations with a great location. It is a short walk to the beach and is a quiet neighborhood. The yard is very nice for small dogs. There is a great grill with lots of outdoor seating.
