This was a great spot and amazing location just a few minor things with the unit the staff needed to address but they were right on it and it was so appreciated. Can’t beat the location and amenities!

Property was as advertised. Clean and well equipped with comfortable beds and a great living/dining area for family meals. Loved the sliding glass doors that opened onto the upper deck and lower patio! Small issue shortly after check-in with a used/dirty towel in the kitchen that the host rectified immediately. Portable A/C unit upstairs in the living room efficiently cooled the property down in the afternoons and early evenings after we returned from daily outings. Great beach access and significantly less busy than others in the area, but be prepared for the many stairs required to get to and from the beach. Washer and dryer were nice, but small and with limited capacity. Great local pizza, gelato, and fish & chips. We plan to come back!

Chefs Paradise on the Beach!!

Stunning beachside apartment adventure. We spent a week in this amazing place. Awesome kitchen with absolutely everything you need. Immaculate and tastefully decorated, premium touches made this a truly special visit. Highly recommend, we will be returning!

A great midway location for all the San Diego hot spots!

This condo was a perfect spot for our family. Modest, clean and well-stocked, it was a great mid-way spot for our trip, which included stops all up and down the San Diego coast hotspots. We loved Solana Beach and all the shops and restaurants within walking distance. The beach was an easy walk to access. When we were short on beach towels, the property manager had them to us within minutes.

San Diego Soccer Vacation

Delightful California Getaway

Spectacular, bright, spacious condo, elegantly refurbished and tastefully furnished, likely by interior designers. Fireplace and south-facing patio were welcome during an unusually cold weather pattern. Only drawbacks were an uncomfortable couch in the living area and a little dampness on the sleeping level, most likely due to unusual, rainy weather. Excellent location on an indescribably beautiful beach under the cliffs hosting the condo complex. Stubbs service was great; the staff immediately gave us towels that were missing.

Weekly stay at Hacienda Palms

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at another unit in this complex before. The unit was large, airy and was well stocked with towels, kitchen items, etc... However, the place was not super clean. Our feet and socks became dark quickly from walking around the house without shoes and the sheets had stains (and hair). The property also probably housed some pets before as it still smelled as such. Overall, location was great, complex was nice, but cleanliness can be improved.

Hello Lung, We have found some sheets have scorch marks from being professionally laundered and pressed. We apologize for the dirty floors. This is unacceptable and had we known, we would have sent over our housekeepers to do a touch up and replace the sheets. We will address this with all of our housekeeping teams to prevent this from happening again. There have been no pets in this property since Stubbs began managing it. We do wish you had reached out to us so we could have handled these items right away.

Spacious, clean, & comfortable

We loved the spaciousness, location/short walking distance to SO many places, gorgeous views on property, comfortable beds, artwork & the vibe it created, record player, master bath heater, hot tub & heated pool, and the list goes on... Stubbs was very helpful too - professional & prompt in communication, and they even helped cart our bags (& stroller and car seat) across the street since we didn't rent a car. I will say I would hesitate to recommend Seascape Sur for anyone who has limited mobility, as hills & stairs are required to access the condo & complex.Our favorite restaurants were The Naked Cafe, Pizza Port, Lofty Coffee, Station Sushi, and Gelato 101. We look forward to returning again next year!

Fantastic condo and location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This a lovely and comfortable condo. We rented it for 3 weeks, and wouldn’t hesitate to rent it again. The living room, dining room and kitchen on second floor were great. The furniture was cozy and welcoming. The kitchen had everything we needed for a longer stay. There were plenty of games and books for entertainment. The beds were really comfortable.We loved the location of the property. Just steps from access to the ocean. We also fell in love with Solana Beach with lots of great restaurants, shops and grocery stores.Stubbs Rental was great to work with. We had a couple very minor things (ie. Burned out light bulb, etc) and they were fixed right away.

Beautiful appartment

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would say this is the perfect beach side rental. It's beautifully renovated. The living/dining/kitchen area is very spacious. The second bedroom could be a bit bigger, but there is a lot of storage space. The only downside, and I am sure, this must be temporarily, maybe due to the recent renovation: the first floor is very moist. There were several electric and non-electric de-humidifiers, but still the air was always a bit moist and stuffy (right word?). We tried to air the rooms out as much as possible and it became slightly better through our stay. I hope that with time, this will go away.The beds are very comfortable. There is an extra matrass if needed. The washer and dryer are premium quality and work perfectly. The kitchen has a lot of counter space and all the pots and pans you can wish for. It's the best equipped kitchen I ever had in a vacation rental. The living/dining area looks exactly like the picture. All rooms have screened windows or doors, so mosquitos are not an issue, neither are spiders. There is a lovely patio at the entrance and a balcony with barbecue on the second floor. The appartment comes with beach chairs and parasols. There's even a yoga mat. Lost of books to read and several games to play.The neighbourhood is very quiet. The beach is just three minutes and some stairs away. We would love to stay there again.Stubbs property management was always very helpful. It was a pleasure renting through them

The location near Del Mar is amazing. We wanted to also be near the soccer complex for Surf Cup and this spot is ideal for the tournament. The grounds were well kept and we had plenty of parking. We walked to restaurants and had a great time in the area. However, the unit had some issues. The third bedroom is upstairs and is more of a small office space and because of the heat (88 degrees in the upstairs) my son was not able to sleep in that room and had to sleep downstairs the first night. The unit has no central AC so they left two portable AC units which could not be used simultaneously because the circuit breakers would go off. So either upstairs was being cooled off - which is what we tried to do - or you slept all downstairs. Mind you this was in late July and during the peak heat for the region, but the instructions we received when we checked in suggested AC wasn’t really necessary and to just leave windows open. Aside from the heat issues, we enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the beach access. The pools were okay but fairly small for our family and others to use together. Also, you need keys to access everything and one set of our keys did not work well so we could never use it to open the pool area or parking garage doors. Overall, we had a good time and enjoyed the visit but will probably not rent this unit again unless the AC is resolved or we come during a cooler time of the year.

This was an unusually strong heat wave, and we’re glad we were able to provide portable A/C units to help. Because of the age of the buildings and their oceanfront location, many homes in this area were originally built without central A/C, which is very common along the coast. We’re glad you enjoyed your visit overall and hope to welcome you back during one of our cooler coastal months.
