Perfect little studio in the heart of St.Germaine. On a very quiet side street but in the middle of it all. Comfortable bed, nice bath and kitchenette. Definitely recommend!

This location is ideal for couples wanting to be in the middle of it all, while at the same time offers easy access to metro and train stations for quick day trips. There are plenty of local options for food / groceries etc in all directions. We enjoyed evening meals on the terrace. While the location is in the middle of Saint Germaine des Pres, it is on a very quiet side street. This was the perfect place for our week in Paris and we will definitely pick it again when we return.

The apartment is nothing like the pictures in the listing. It is severely neglected. There is no privacy wall between two other apartments. All that separates the units is a 3 foot rail. The planters are with dead plants and cigarette butts. There is very little light in the unit. No light fixture in the kitchen. The hallway and stairs are pitch black. We eventually learned, not from the host, how to activate the lights but the switch located outside the unit door does not work. In fact, it has a bandaid over it. There are several other issues involving cleanliness and dilapidation, ripped towels etc. too numerous to include everything. The host company does not communicate nor acknowledge there deceiving listing.

The property was beautiful. Perfect and safe location in Paris. The lighting in the halls of the building could improve. The porch was my favorite part about this VRBO where I would sit and enjoy my coffee and croissant.

The location was perfect. We could walk to almost anywhere in a reasonable amount of time. If we wanted to get somewhere quicker or the destination was a bit further away, we were only a few blocks from a metro station or a bus stop. The street was pretty quiet most of the time, and the building was secure. The unit is compact, but it supplies all the basics of your needs. Having a washer/dryer was a definite plus. For a two week stay, it would have been nice to be supplied with more than two tiny rolls of toilet paper. And some paper towel would have been nice, especially at the price we were paying. We also only received one washcloth for some reason, but I had my own cloth with me so it was fine. We didn’t, however, request anything additional from them, so they might have supplied it if we had asked. We had to stop at a grocery store for something else, so went ahead and bought what we needed. The bed area and the bathroom are two steps up from the rest of the space, and since the flooring (steps included) are all the same dark color, you have to be careful not to fall on the steps. There’s no air conditioning; however, there’s a wonderful ceiling fan directly over the bed and the french doors to the terrace open wide and allow for a lot of air flow. We also appreciated how the windows between the bathroom and the bedroom opened up as well. There is an elevator which makes getting your suitcases to the unit much easier. We recommend this place. Convenient!

If you are looking for a pied-à-terre in Paris, look no further than "Notre-Dame, this cozy, charming studio. There will be a friendly face to greet you when you arrive, and to explain how everything works. You will be pleased to note that the Studio is exactly as shown in the photos posted on Vrbo. At night, when you sleep, you will feel blessed to be on a quiet street with virtually no traffic noise, and when you venture out, you will marvel at how centrally located you are to all that you wanted to experience in Paris. We stayed here for two weeks and we can highly recommend Notre-Dame: Charming Studio with Terrace.

You are paying for the location, which was ideal for me. The bathroom sink did not have handels to turn on the water, so I had to use the kitchen sink for everything. The tub handle to switch to the faucet was also not there so if I wanted to take a bath I had to use the shower to fill the tub, which took a very long time. I notified them and they did get a plumber out in two days but he didn't have the right parts, and I never saw him again. The patio is not as private as the pictures. The bamboo has been cut in half. All the plants on the patio were dead which made the patio very unattractive. The kitchen was missing the bottom shelf and instead had round gaping holes where the mounting brackets would have been. The fridge was very clean but was missing a foot so it wobbled. The pictures made this apartment look amazing. I wish the owners would take more pride in the upkeep and maintenance. The location almost makes the cost worth it, but not having a bathroom sink for 10 days was a huge turn off. If all the issues were repaired I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
