Welcome to Vitamin Sea! Your vacation rental features a Beach Club with pool & cafe, 24-hour security gate, challenging 18-hole Arnold Palmer Championship Golf Course, fitness center, tennis courts, resort community pool, and complimentary beach shuttle. Come spend dreamy days on our sugary sand beaches, plunge into our emerald green waters, and stroll along the beautiful beach front. Walking distance (1/2 mile) to the beach and close to 3 state parks and the National Seashore. Perdido Key is truly a hidden, family friendly gem along the Gulf Coast, with lots of protected land, wildlife, and easy access to the beach, bay, and boat launches.


About the Townhouse:

The Beach Club is located directly on the beach and serves fantastic food and drinks. The complementary neighborhood shuttle can be called for pick up/drop off at the house or beach. Lost Key Golf & Beach Club truly provides that picture-perfect beach vacation feel, so get ready to create plenty of lasting memories with your family and friends.

House comes with beach accessories (chairs, umbrella, towels, boogie boards), 3 beach cruiser bikes, bath towels, and a starter set of toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, washing machine detergent, dishwashing soap).

This property was even more perfect in person! It was so cozy and beautifully decorated. The pictures do not do it justice. Location is ideal and it’s very pet friendly. Plenty of places to walk your fur babies and the neighborhood is quiet and serene.

Not what is advertised

Overall, the house and amenities are not what is advertised. You are led to believe that you will be staying close to the beach. Nothing further from the truth. To get to the beach, you will either have to call a shuttle bus or walk a good 15 mins, including crossing a super busy road. The VRBO page may also make you believe that, because the house is a part of the beach club, you will have complimentary access to beach chairs and umbrellas. Not true - all these are extra cost to be paid by you. Into playing tennis? Good luck finding the tennis court, a couple of miles further inland. And bring your own rackets and balls. Inside the house, be prepared to do a lot of stair climbing. This is a narrow 3-story house with the living areas located on 2nd and 3rd floors (the first floor is just a garage). Wanna grill? The grill is in the back of the garage next to a set of loud AC units. Any food would need to be walked back up through the garage to the second floor. The interior also has visible signs of wear and tear on the walls. In addition, during our trip, the AC did not work properly for the first two nights in the 90F weather. Lastly, be prepared to deal with a difficult host - during our stay, a cracked glass I retrieved from the cupboard broke in my hand. I left it on the kitchen counter to avoid a hazard in the trash bag. The host proceeded to charge us (after the stay) 75 for "extra clean-up fee" due to the broken glass. She did not repond to any inquiries about it.

Great Stay

Had a great time with the family. Plenty of room and the owner was very thoughtful in the items supplied. Loved that there were bikes, boogie boards, and games there to use. Would definitely recommend!

Great place to stay near beach

Had a great time! Beach accessibility was very good and everything in the rental was as described. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch with its beautiful view. Would love to come back sometime soon!

Lovely Stay

We really enjoyed this property! So clean and well appointed and we were able to have our family over for dinner very comfortably.It’s a little hard to tell from the listing where this is in relation to the beach and the pool. It is a bit of a distance. 10-15 minute walk or a quick drive.Our only issue was parking, there’s only space for 2 cars, and there’s no street parking. It’s not immediately apparent that you should park at the pool if you have additional cars.Other than that we totally loved this place!! Would definitely stay again :)

Convenient

It was a great option for me since I have 2 larger dogs. It was a great area to take them for walks, and having the shuttle take you to and from the beach is amazing! I would definitely recommend.

Beautiful Townhouse Rental

Very well appointed rental property. Just one issue with our golden retriever not wanting to use the sand areas to go to the bathroom. There are natural grasses and plants so no open area for him. We did however walk through the neighborhood and there is grass in the next townhome row closer to the pool and clubhouse which was great. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay.

Great area

This property was exactly as described. We enjoyed our stay. Beds are comfortable and there was plentynof space for three people. We were dropped off at the beach club, as the walk was a bit far. The beach was nice and we got there early enough to have chairs and an umbrella. The hoat has bicycles for use which was nice to get out and ride around the area.

Relaxing & fun home away from home

A perfect vacation spot for my family & pets. Everyone was so friendly & helpful in Lost Key! The house was very clean!!! Which is super important to me, they do a top notch job! So well maintained and had everything you would need which was refreshing & it looked just like the photos. Seriously, I have never stayed somewhere where they thought of so many things your family may need and made it such a great vacation home and not just a rental. Definitely well thought out and taken care of. Lost Key also has everything you could need if you don’t feel like venturing out. We loved using the shuttle service & the pools. My favorite was sitting outside on the screened in porch! Everything worked great & the host was awesome & very easy to get in touch with if needed. I would definitely recommend having her as a host & this wonderful vacation home. Lovely neighbors & visitors in this community. The shuttle bus drivers are the sweetest! My husband loved using the fitness center. The bar and pool at the beach was perfect when we were having a late day at the beach and just wanted to sit there eat & drink!.. I could go on!! I do have a blind dog who didn’t understand to go potty on the sand (the whole yard is sand) so we did drive her a couple times a day over by the pool for walks. We didn’t mind & there are plenty of walking paths there & trash/poop stations. We loved it so much & were so impressed with everything.. we can’t wait to come back! Thanks for everything!

Great 6 week stay with our dog

This property was in a great location. We really enjoyed all of the paths and areas for walking. The beach and pools were wonderful and everyone was so friendly. The unit was tastefully decorated and was super clean with a well supplied kitchen and large washer/dryer. The lanai was very pleasant as well as the lower patio with a fire table. The host was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. We would definitely stay here again!
