Casa MAAR, A luxury fully-serviced modern/balinese inspired house, is located within the exclusive ocean side resort community of Hacienda Pinilla in Costa Rica. It is it’s own slice of paradise.

The 2021 newly built Casa MAAR is a luxuriously designed home where the inside and outside living spaces really complement each other. It is the perfect entertainment home for families, couples or groups of friends.Take advantage of its gorgeous outdoor living area with its own beautiful palapa/gazebo beside the pool. Enjoy barbecuing, or relaxing in front of the outdoor TV or on the poolside lounge chairs while soaking up the scenery and the stunning Guanacaste trees.

With its fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, Wifi and Smart TV’s, every detail has been considered for you and your family. (Pre-stocking available upon request)

The main living area is filled with natural light and offers an open plan living/ dining area that can seat up to 13 people. There is a breakfast bar that can seat 4 people.

Master Suite
1 king bed, ensuite bathroom with an extra outdoor shower and private garden, double vanity, walk-in closet, internet enabled TV, blockout blinds.

Master Suite 2
1 king size bed and 1 trundle single bed, double vanity bathroom with an extra outdoor shower and private garden, ample closet and blockout blinds.

Bedroom 1
2 custom made queen size bunk beds with staircase (not a ladder), blockout blinds, ample closet, ensuite bathroom with double vanity.


The Community
Casa MAAR is located inside Las Brisas at Hacienda Pinilla. Which is an exclusive Hacienda Style Resort surrounded by Costa Rica’s incomparable biodiversity.

Guests will be spoiled as you can choose from 4 different nearby beaches: Avellanas, Mansita, Bonita and Langosta. You’ll have access to a beach club, golf court with coastal layout, equestrian center, tennis courts, skateboard park, basketball court & kids playground.

The Beach Club
The beach club has an amazing restaurant, pool, gym and playground. You can either go surfing, relax by the pool or just enjoy the fabulous sunsets.
From Jan 1st, 2025 you will pay $5 per day and per person non consumable.
10 year old and below are free.

The Beach Club will be under maintenance from October 5-18, 2026.

The Surfing
Playa Avellanas, home of the Beach Club has 6 World-class surf breaks including Little Hawaii, the Estero, Dead Tree and Lola’s

The Golf Course
18 hole par 72 beachfront golf course. The beachfront hole has an awesome sunset view on a secluded beach.

The JW Marriott Hotel
Hacienda Pinilla is home of the JW Marriott Hotel. As a guest in Casa MAAR, you’ll have access to the Hotel’s numerous restaurants. You can also purchase a day pass which gives you access to all of the hotel’s grounds and amenities.
Playa Mansita & Bonita (home of the JW Marriott Hotel) offer great tide pools on the lower tides.

The Tennis Courts
Two hard court tennis courts with an onsite instructor (Sylvain), private, semi-private and group lessons are available. Kids camps and pickleball events are regular activities.

The Mountain Bike Trails
With over 45 kilometers of trails throughout the ranch, forest and coastline, Hacienda Pinilla is a great location for mountain biking. With natural scenic routes and rigorous trails for every type of bike rider. The mountain trails offer adventure, challenge and enjoyment for families, first timers and experts.
