If you are looking for a relaxing and vacation-themed private villa for your family getaway to the Orlando area, or even to snowbird during the winter, this is a perfect fit for you. The pool is an inviting private oasis with plenty of comfortable lounge chairs and seating to enjoy your meal or a drink by the pool. Our resident metal mascots (Flynn and Mingo) are at home amongst the beautiful tropical landscaped gardens and fountain flowing into the 30 x 15-foot pool. Pool towels are provided along with an assortment of pool accessories. The optional pool heat keeps it comfortable for swimming year-round and is recommended in the winter months. It is $20 a night, or $100 for a week.

The yard backs up to the Highland Reserve Golf course (open to the public if you want to play a few rounds during your stay.) Enjoy the privacy and seclusion of having plenty of room between houses. Some mornings you might see hot air balloons floating over the golf course. Pool lighting and hanging solar lights make for an inviting evening swim. The yard outside the screened pool area is landscaped with banana plants, palm trees, and Crepe Myrtle trees with hanging Spanish Moss and solar lights that glow at twilight.
Flamingo Oasis (named after our pink pool mascots, Flynn and Mingo) is a spacious 4-bedroom private villa with 3 baths, a fully stocked kitchen, and 2 living rooms to relax in. It comfortably sleeps 8 (4 adults and 4 children). The family room open to the kitchen has a 55-inch TV with Roku for you to log into and stream your favorite apps and content. TV antenna allows for local channels. There is also a living room as you enter the house where you can relax, read a book or visit with family. The villa is all ready for family game night with a wide selection of fun games and books for all ages.
The kitchen is ready for preparing meals and has a cozy breakfast nook or seating at the island for quick meals. The dining room offers more space for larger meals or family game night.
The King suite is a peaceful beach-themed escape with plenty of space to unpack and relax. It offers a walk-in closet, dressers, and side tables with lots of drawer space and plenty of hooks to hang your hats (or Mouse ears). Each side table lamp has a built-in USB port. A 42-inch wall-mounted TV with Roku is available for streaming content. The large en suite bathroom includes a shower and jetted tub along with 2 sinks so you don’t have to share. The suite also includes a sitting room next to the pool for another place to relax in the air conditioning (or work from home if you must). The villa is equipped with 1 GB of high-speed internet.
The queen bedroom suite includes a separate bathroom and is perfect for a second couple or grandparents who want to travel with family. The bathroom also has access directly to the pool.
The 3rd and 4th bedrooms share a “Jack and Jill” bathroom. They each have 2 twin size beds. These rooms both have an Orlando vacation theme that kids of all ages will love. One has a Harry Potter theme with house flags, fun wall art, and a nightlight that projects stars. The magic continues with the Disney theme for the other bedroom, complete with a Disney castle and other surprises. It has places to hang your Mouse ears after a long day at the parks and even a hidden Mickey to find. Both rooms include Roku wall-mounted TV’s.

Highlands Reserve is a peaceful and gorgeous golf course community. It offers a large community pool, perfect for lap swimming. It also has a playground and tennis courts, all available for guests. It is located just off US-27, just south of 192 and north of I-4 and Champions Gate. There is a number of different routes to Disney property (12 miles) to help avoid Orlando traffic. We always allow 25 to 30 minutes travel time to Disney parks or Disney Springs. Universal Parks and Sea World are further north (about 25 miles), so please allow 40 minutes travel time. Besides theme parks, there is so much to do in the area, with plenty of restaurants and shopping. Legoland, Lakeland (baseball spring training), and Lake Louisa state park are all within 30 minutes. We are equal distance between both Florida coasts, so around a 90-minute drive to the Gulf of Mexico or the Atlantic Ocean for beach day trips. We’ve been vacationing in Orlando for more than 20 years, so we love to answer questions about your trip, provide advice on what to do in the area, and talk about how to navigate Disney parks. This property is entirely nonsmoking including inside the pool cage area and any place outside. Parties are not permitted. All guests should be registered with the owners.
We've been Disney Vacation Club members for 20 years and love vacationing in Florida. When we decided to buy a vacation home we rented this fabulous villa during our research trip. We fell in love with the neighborhood with the mature trees, rolling greens, and sidewalks to take long strolls. We felt so at home in the peaceful backyard, screened-in pool, and open sunny floor plan that when the previous owners mentioned they were considering selling, we couldn't resist. Now we hope to share that with others who come to enjoy relaxing vacations in sunny Florida when we’re not staying in it.
