Perfect Pensacola spot

Perfect spot, far enough away from the busiest part of the island to be quiet, but close enough to be walking distance. Well appointed, and a good amount of space for our family of 5. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house! It had everything we needed and the location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and close to all the festivities. Super convenient! The only thing I’d suggest is adding a bit more outdoor lighting, especially in the back and on the stairs, since we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings. Other than that, it was an overall great experience, and we’d definitely book again and recommend it to others!

Great Beach Getaway

Location, location, location! Our family of 8 had a wonderful week in Pensacola Beach at the Pissitway Getaway. The space was perfect for our family since we were able to split up among the 3 bedrooms. Just 2 short blocks from the gorgeous white sand beach on the Gulf side which was perfect for long strolls, shell hunting, boogie boarding and general fun in the big waves. Steps away from Santa Rosa Sound where we caught incredible sunsets at the end of our days. We also took in the Blue Angels, Naval Air Museum, a Blue Wahoos baseball game, mini golf at UFO's and a day at Fort Pickens, which were all well worth the adventure. Rebekah was easy to deal with and responsive, though the best means of communication was by text rather than VRBO messaging. No cable or satellite TV, so we streamed from our laptops the few times we decided to use the television. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Gret Place to Stay

This place was probably the most supplied and organized. We have stayed on Pensacola Beach 4 times this year. This place is well taken care of. Lots of sitting outside space. Between two sounside public (not crowded) beaches. Also, this area is quiet to road traffic. A great place if you have kids. The neighbors are also friendly. The only annoying thing was we were made to wait until just before we arrived to receive our code. Vrbo sent several messages stating to contact the renter for the code before leaving. That is also what I am used to. These codes can be programmed at the last minute so early arrivers can't crash in early. I was a bit worried my Vrbo app could crash or even something happens with my phone before and we could not be able to enter. However, if we ever need to rent there again this one is at the top of my list.

Perfect vacation home

This home is perfect for your family vacation! We had a blast. The house has a outdoor shower, which was very convenient for us! Also outside is a little family enjoyment place. We absolutely loved everything! The location is great. The house was very nice when we walked in. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place to relax or use as a home base for local activities

Gorgeous little home on the bay side of the beach. Perfect for our party of 5, but could easily and comfortably fit 2 more if needed. Far enough way from the main portions of the beach/boardwalk to be quiet, but close enough to be a short drive over to the bulk of the restaurants/shops if you choose (there was also a beach trolley stop just around the corner which would be great to use during the main season while it's running). We did end up buying a container of kitchen wipes and an extra roll of paper towels to clean up after ourselves, but the house was otherwise well stocked with all basic essentials. Kitchen had salt and pepper, but no other spices (not a problem for us, but just an FYI for those who like or need more variety while cooking). Beds were more on the firm side all around, but were comfortable. The kids loved the yard, hammocks, and cornhole game downstairs. We also found a small playground with a basketball court down the street for the kids (would recommend driving, or bringing your bikes to ride down to it, unless you don't mind a bit of a walk). Rebekah was very responsive via phone/text for anything we needed or had questions about, but messaging through Vrbo was delayed/wonky (not her fault - there appeared to be issues with it on both sides, and the Vrbo app just plain stunk for communication purposes). Very easy to work with. Overall, we were very happy with the property and would stay here again!
