This cottage has unique Artisan feel with a modern stylish twist. Perfect environment to finish your painting, book, song, or just work remotely while relaxing and enjoying this wonderful area. Open floor concept with comfortable gathering area to accommodate friends and family.
Views of Croton Pond right out the kitchen window. Half of mile from Croton Public Beach and boat launch. Croton Dam and Muskegon River 1 mile from cottage. Less than 5 miles from World Famous Hardy Dam (one of the largest Earthen Dams in North America) and the soon to be famous Dragon Trail. Perfect for the Mountain Bike enthusiast. Swimming, canoeing, tubing, fishing, hiking, biking, snowmobiling are just a few of the fantastic outdoor activities that this area is famous for!! Wonderful quaint neighborhood. Cottage is also equipped with 2 beach cruiser bicycles available for your enjoyment.

Long Weekend

My husband & I came up from Indiana for a long relaxing weekend & the cottage was perfect. We really enjoyed sitting on the back patio & drinking coffee or enjoying a good book. The kitchen decor was *chef’s kiss* When the neighborhood lost power for a few hours on our first night, the hosts were superb in communicating about the situation & even sending updates from the electric company. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nicely furnished and recently updated. Super comfy and relaxing. Everything was very nice and my wife and I really enjoyed this rental, highly recommend!

Great cottage with awesome views just a short walk away!

Spent my birthday here, it was the perfect getaway. Huge backyard, great fire pit, and the kitchen is great! It was an awesome place to kick back and relax, make some great dinners, and have a hub to come back to after a hike! Hit the road joe was a great spot as well.

Fantastic Value in a Quiet Getaway

Cute little home, very clean and eclectic. We like to hit the trails and the dunes in jeeps and on foot and this was a fantastic little base camp to spread out from and come back to. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for outdoors fun in the area.

The cabin between two dams

Very relaxing cute quiet cabin. It was fun to walk the neighborhood. The cabin was very well equipped. No cell service which made it a relaxing get away. The wifi worked perfect. Lots of trails nearby. Would definitely come back and recommend renting this cabin!

Great cabin, recommend it highly

The communication was brief because what I needed to know was said in the description. The home was well cared for, clean and comfortable. It was decorated but not cluttered. We did not spend much time there, but our time was pleasant. If we wanted to be out side enjoying the yard we could have. The yard does need a bit of tlc. Chairs, table, fire pit, wood and two seated swing were provided. Neighborhood was quiet, safe, and comfortable. Bar, restaurant and convenience store was very near. We would stay again

Lovely Cottage Experience

This 2 bedroom cottage has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Tucked in a quiet neighborhood but close to grocery and restaurants. The bikes are a bonus with lots of options to roam! Beds are comfy and the kitchen has everything you need - even spices. Visiting the owners restaurant, Hit the Road Joe, is a must. I’m from NC and she makes some seriously good BBQ!

Weekend away.

Thought there would be lake access, but there is not, without a drive. Spent sometime fishing near the dam. House is clean, well organized, and cozy. Anytime i reached out to the host, received immediate response. Would be all five stars if it had lake access.

Lovely cabin with limited water access

We had a great time hanging out and spending time around the fire pit. The cabin was comfy and well furnished. My only pause is that it was hard to access the water. The nearest public beach is 1 mile away. So great for spending time together, not so great for easy access water activities.

Cute cabin cottage

loved the kitchen & its overall aesthetic. Mostly private backyard was nice. Not much of a water view. The toilet was on a pedestal which wouldn’t have been a big deal for me and my husband but we have a toddler potty training currently so that was a challenge. The listing amenities said “Grill” so when we arrived we were bummed to not see one, but Tracy fixed that for us immediately by offering her personal grill up for us to use then going above and beyond to buy a brand new one on the Fourth of July! That was amazing! I would say the only “issue” was that it could have been cleaned better. It was definitely overrun with cobwebs and spiders.

Cute cottage across the street from Croton Dam Pond

Stayed here with my family of 4 to ride the Dragon Trails which were only about a 10 minute drive away depending on which trailhead you go to. Very cute and eclectic cottage with comfortable beds. Wish there was public access to the lake within walking distance. We ended up taking our paddle boards out on Hardy Dam Pond after our bike rides. Beautiful area!

Delightful Cabin in Croton

Cozy yet bigger than the pictures make it look, this is a well cared for cabin in the heart of Croton. Close to everything you need and the host is easy to reach. Well stocked for relaxing after a day on the water or out exploring the area. Will definitely stay here again!

Adorable!

We were in need of a getaway and couldn’t have picked a better place. Water all around if you want to enjoy some kayaking or canoeing. Found some amazing food places within 15 miles. Just amazing, we highly recommend!
