Nice weekend trip

The place was great. It was clean and smelled good when we got there and had everything we needed ready. It's also in a good location that's short car ride away from everywhere.

Cute Home & Great Base

While in town we had several places to be and this townhouse was centrally located. We definitely enjoyed our stay - cute and comfortable home, nicely decorated, great beds! Alexis was fantastic communicating with me. The goodie basket with snacks and coffees was a nice treat as well.

Clean inside, far from beach, old neighborhood

Neighborhood appears to be low income housing. The house is very old but the renovation makes it feel clean. Creaky stairs, doors and banisters, old carpet but fresh paint and furniture. Only enough dishes for 4 people. There was a dryer in the driveway when we arrived but it was gone after a day. Owner is very responsive. Keurig was broken and she said she would replace it. We shortened our stay due to recent reviews and appreciated the partial refund. Drive to the beach via the highway took 22-25min each way. Based on the map when booking it appeared closer. Overall the price was high compared to other beachfront properties that fit 6 for the quality of the property.

Disappointed

I really don’t know where to begin. Once we pulled up the location was terrible. We did not feel safe at all. We tried the code that was given to us at 3:30, but it did not work until 3:57 when the people who live there or the people who were cleaning the apartment came out. The neighbors car was on stilts and had busted windows. There was beer and other things in the fridge. The fridge was dirty.There were cabinets zip tied. We called VRBO to complain because we were surprised they had a listing like this on their site and we were concerned about being safe in the neighborhood. VRBO didn’t seem to care. They told me the owner said we knew where it was which was not true because there was a circle around the area that gives an approximate location. Unfortunately, we left and did not stay for fear of our safety. We drove several hours (6 plus) home. What a waste of our money. Lesson learned

Hi Jacquelyn, We do apologize that you did not feel safe due to the neighbors car. He is a mechanic and we cannot control our neighbors property. The code works exactly at 4pm when the checkin time starts. We had no recollection that you did not feel safe or a full refund would have been warranted. Unfortunately we did not know the situation until after checkout and our new guests were set to arrive. The zip ties are fire security of extra supplies due to previous guests removing extra from the property without permission. The beverages were complementary and were unopened along with the coffee and granola bars. Please accept our deepest apologies.

Nice, but a little mislead!

Overall just an OKAY stay! Pros: Location was near everything or not too far for entertainment! House was clean! Cons:The owner doesn't show the front or back of the house for obvious reasons. The pictures online are not exactly what house looks like. There was no curtain to kitchen had to put a towel up so no one can see through the house. The dining chairs are filthy!! Backyard not groomed at all!! The rooms were ok. There was a broken TV in the closet of one of the rooms. There was some type of white crate like things under the couch cushions. Had to buy an iron & i left it for future guests. Downstair bathroom needs some touchups! Lastly, when we were about to leave we were approached by a random woman asking for help because her boyfriend was about to shoot her!! It is very obvious the owner doesn't come to see this location because its not well kept OR they just don't care. It has a lot of potential, but when people paying their money they want to get what they see online! I wouldn't stay here again!

Wonderfully Relaxing!

This property provided the wonderfully cozy atmosphere as promised. All 5 of us enjoyed staying there for the 4 days we were there. Its close proximity to most things to which we needed access was a definite plus. I promised to point a couple of minor things that would have made me title our stay as "Amazingly Relaxing!" :-) Here they are: 1) One roll of toilet paper per bathroom was not sufficient for 5 adults for 4 days. Suggestion: 4 backup rolls for the house would resolve that issue easily. 2) One dishwasher tablet in the kitchen for a 4-day stay is also a little minimal. Suggestion: Having 1 tablet per day would go a long way in sending the message that "cleaning up after oneself" is subliminally expected. As stated, our stay was wonderfully relaxing. Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback. Take care.

Great stay!

We loves this rental! Beds were very comfy, beautifully decorated with plenty of room for three adults and a baby. The small outdoor area topped it off. Very convenient access to the highways and anything we needed. Host was very responsive and the check in and out was very easy! Host even provided snacks and water on arrival in the house. Highly recommend!

Excellent Work Retreat!

Three of us stayed here for a work retreat. The home was very clean, all amenities (wifi, firestick, laundry, etc) worked properly and well and directions were clear for use. The neighborhood is quite quiet and neighbors were friendly. Very comfortable beds, we would stay here again. Thank you!

Super Cute and Cozy

We loved our stay, great for the family. Would definitely come back. 15 min drive to the beach. Close to all the highways. It was awesome.
