-There is an separate suite at the far end of the house which will be very rarely occupied. This is a separate unit under the same roof but there are no shared spaces. Guests will have exclusive use of the main house including the laundry room and the beach area at all times. The suite is usually only occupied for a few day around Thanksgiving and from Christmas time until the first of the year. Please do not enter that fenced in area.

Clean, comfortable & quiet! Kitchen is pretty well stocked, as well as items like paper products, soaps, towels, blankets etc. Appliances are all in good working order. My bed was ok, daughter said hers was not comfortable. An extra 1/2 bath would be nice as we were 4 adults, but we made it work. Host was attentive once arrival day was upon us and throughout stay. Interior was clean, exterior of house needs a good power wash. Enjoyed looking out at the lake view.

Had a very nice stay! Quiet place. My only thoughts were the open view at nightfall with no cover on either sliding door space. Especially the kitchen area. We have 3 very similar large windows with option of sun shades or curtain for privacy . So definitely my preference Definitely would return.Love Brighton! Howell ! & all the shopping choices and things to do! Great for kids too.
Example high curtain like your cabinets would look best. If you decide to do it.

Wonderful, quiet little house right on the water. The water was beautiful, but really pretty at night with all the lights. Kitchen is very well equipped and the owner is excellent at returning messages and assisting in any difficulties. Our two young granddaughters loved the tiny sandy beach right out the back door! Very clean.

Relaxing and comfortable cottage on a small lake near our previous home of 40 years. We now live in Florida. . We were near family and friends, some of which we hadn't seen in a year. Amentities are plentiful and Dan assisted us in any question we had. Since I am an artist, I especially enjoyed downtown Brighton and the beautiful local art. The restaurants are wonderful and many. We hope to be back here again next year but may end up buying our own second home here if we find the right one.

Warm & lazy;

We had wonderful weather and enjoyed being able to kayak on the lake. There is an area on the lake with thousands of Lilly Pads (which are protected). It's quite a sight to see. The grill works well. We did steaks and burgers on it. The kitchen has a huge island.. Very nice.

Perfect for a family retreat!

We had an amazing time in this quiet home on the lake! It was clean and very spacious and my daughter loved swimming everyday! We were also allowed to have our dog with us which made the stay that much more enjoyable!
Fire pit was wonderful for smores!

Great Place!

We had an amazing time staying here. Our dogs loved swiming in the lake and the fishing was good too! We asked for a special accommodation and it was granted which made our stay even better. The host was great and would look to stay here agian in the future.

Fun weekend exploring Michigan

We chose this place for the great location, the awesome pond, and the ability to cook our food there. We loved all of this! Drive down a dirt road to find a fun lake with all the toys needed to have a blast! Would recommend and the host was extremely communicative and offered help throughout our entire stay. Thank you!!!

Sister Sleep Over

House was perfect for a little overnight stay over with sisters. House exactly as described. View is so pretty of the lake. We spent all afternoon and into the evening playing cards/games on the deck to enjoy the view.House clean and check in and communication was easy. They had candy and wine for us as a nice and unexpected surprise. Would stay again.

Adorable little cottage

The Cottage is very clean and we enjoyed our stay. The beds are comfortable and the host is very responsive. The neighborhood is very quiet so if you are planning a loud party, this is not the place. Please note that this cottage is on a dirt driveway so if pavement is the only way you like to drive, you might not like it. Personally, we loved it and enjoyed the relaxing time while in the area for a graduation. Thank you to our host for a nice relaxing stay.

Enjoyed our stay, just as descripted and very clean. Love the snacks that were left for us...very nice touch. Motion activated light by the side door would be helpful when trying to check in late at night. Also an end table in the primary bedroom on both sides would be very helpful.

Quiet gem on a lake

Adorable lakeside home. Very clean and lots of room to hang out with family. We used the home for a mini Christmas gathering and were extremely pleased with the floorplan. The host was very responsive to all of our questions and requests.

The property is located between the towns of Brighton and Howel and super close to many lakes and Mt Brighton Ski resort.

Brighton is known for having a thriving downtown area with many cool restaurants and some amazing breweries close by.

Located on the end of a private road, on a pretty little lake with a private beach.

The lake is great for fishing and kayaking and is quiet because there are no gas motors allowed. Yet the lake is still big enough that you can see bigger electric pontoons out for a relaxing float.
