1 min walk from private beach - 4 bd main house, 2 bd carriage house!

My mother oassed away a few years ago. An agreement with my neighbors for rentals restricts the number of people on the beach to prevent crowding. I could not get a plumber over the 4th of July. You brought trash from other places and you broke the clearly stated rules and left the palce very dirty.

We had issues from this renter from the beginning when he threatened to “break a window” to get into the property an hour before the check in and before the cleaners were done. He was threatening and used derogatory language which he left on voice mail (this was submitted to Vrbo for review) when our dishwasher broke. We informed him that we called repair immediately but because of the location it would take a few weeks. Our place was built in 2019 so everything is relatively new. Our check in is 4 pm as it says on our listing so what he is saying is a flat out lie. He ripped our screen door and never informed us. I had explained many times to him during his vulgar and threatening phone calls that it was just me and my wife renting out our summer house and that we were not a hotel with a 24 hour repair staff. We have asked Vrbo to review his behavior. With proof of his recorded voicemails he had left. We have renter our place for 3 years now and have never had a complaint. Nor have we ever had such a rude and careless renter. We mainly have returning renters every year. This is the risk of taking on new renters that will make us more descending in future. I would never rent to him again.
