Historic secluded cottage…6 blocks from the town square with gazebo relaxation.

A six-block walk to the town square comes with the secluded privacy of living in the woods. The cottage is located on a hill which ends at Acker Park, a hiking preserve. A thoughtful renovation includes a blend of maintaining the historic elements of beautiful restored hardwood floors, with new appliances, cabinetry, and countertops in the kitchen and baths. The back patio gas barbeque is ideal for grilling outdoors and the wrap-around deck with gazebo is the perfect outdoor relaxation. A vaulted and beamed great room, surrounded by windows is flooded with sunlight, and adjoins the kitchen and dining areas. The second upstairs bedroom includes both a Queen and a single bed, with a trundle, so altogether sleeps six comfortably. The gated stone pathway from the front, leads through the trees to the house and is hidden from the street.

The house is warm and welcoming. Super comfortable and cozy living room. The property is beautiful and peaceful. It is a perfect location for exploring downtown Prescott. A huge bonus are the hiking trails with amazing views you can walk up to from the front of the house. We loved our stay!

Perfect little cottage! We were busy at a golf tournament most of the time but enjoyed having such a peaceful place to enjoy in the evenings. Love all the windows to look out at the trees!

Great place. It was within walking distance of downtown. The house had plenty of space inside and out, and was very clean and well set up for visitors. I would stay here again any time.
