Cottage historique isolé… à 6 pâtés de maisons de la place du village avec gazebo pour la détente.

A six-block walk to the town square comes with the secluded privacy of living in the woods. The cottage is located on a hill which ends at Acker Park, a hiking preserve. A thoughtful renovation includes a blend of maintaining the historic elements of beautiful restored hardwood floors, with new appliances, cabinetry, and countertops in the kitchen and baths. The back patio gas barbeque is ideal for grilling outdoors and the wrap-around deck with gazebo is the perfect outdoor relaxation. A vaulted and beamed great room, surrounded by windows is flooded with sunlight, and adjoins the kitchen and dining areas. The second upstairs bedroom includes both a Queen and a single bed, with a trundle, so altogether sleeps six comfortably. The gated stone pathway from the front, leads through the trees to the house and is hidden from the street.

We loved the cottage! So inviting, warm, close to the square, and surrounded by Ponderosa Pines! Outside seating areas are relaxing and enjoyable. We look forward to a return visit!

Very well updated with great appliances. Could use a Keurig but does have a coffee pot. We had to buy coffee and appropriate filters. There are now plenty filters in the cottage. IIt'sreally very lovely. Just to know, the walkways to the house are a little uneven and might be treacherous for someone who has a walking problem. The owner was very pleasant.

The house is warm and welcoming. Super comfortable and cozy living room. The property is beautiful and peaceful. It is a perfect location for exploring downtown Prescott. A huge bonus are the hiking trails with amazing views you can walk up to from the front of the house. We loved our stay!
