Our host Gordon was super! He was easily accessible and responded immediately to each of our questions. He kept us informed and even helped me when I inadvertently had an Amazon package shipped to the property. The home was very clean and comfortable and we will definitely stay there again! Very spacious and walking distance to greats bars and restaurants.10 out of 10!

Very clean and centrally located home. The loft is a little difficult to get to, via narrow spiral staircase, but the other bedrooms are comfortable.

I wish I had good things to say about this home, but unfortunately the home was not well maintained and the listing was inaccurate. The home is listed as having 1 king bed, a bunk bed with a twin and a queen, a futon, and a queen. The room that was supposed to have the second queen bed only had a futon, on a broken frame, and a twin size air bed. In a closet was a queen air mattress, that went flat. The owner was responsive and did bring a new airbed. But, an airbed is not a real bed and should not be listed as such. Also, the wood that supported the king bed kept falling and I would wake up with the bed caving in. There are a lot of broken things in the home; shelves, hanging rods in closet, safety door at the top of the loft, ice maker, water dispenser. The electrical is very weird and it took us a while to figure out how to turn on and off lights. The flooring in the kitchen is warped and appears to have mold underneath. The refrigerator leaks and I believe that is why. I notified the host, but they did not seemed worried about it. Said it was from leaving the freezer open (even though we didn’t) and was told they would take a look after our stay. I kept a towel on the floor next to the fridge to keep the water from leaking to far and causing someone to slip on it and hurt themself. Some positives are there are a lot of good restaurants near by, the kitchen and living space is a good size, and the home is pet friendly.

The house was great. It was nice to be able to walk to restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Lively area. There is a lot of late night activity right outside the house and it was noisy late at night and even some police chasing someone. But the master bed was super comfortable and we got to watch The Buffalo Bills win. Overall, we would stay here again.

We had a great time in Allentown, close to a lot of walkable bars and restaurants. The house was nice and perfect for 4 of us while we toured the Falls and Allentown. Upon arrival one of the beds upstairs wasn’t made, but overall the house was clean and comfortable. The host was quick to respond and made getting into the house simple. I would recommend this place to anybody wanting to eat and drink their way through Allentown.

Great location in Allentown. The house needs some updating and there were things like lightbulbs burned out in the bunk room, batteries out in the air conditioning remote control and some broken shelves in the bathroom that needed to be attended too.

had to connect with the property manger a few times with questions. The cleaning process was not complete when we got there at 3 pm check in. Couldn't find the light switches for bedroom, had to sleep with the light on until we made another call to the manager the next day to find the switch. The switches should be labeled better with instructions.

Great stay overall but it was hard to find the towels and the light in the laundry because a box was in front. In both bathrooms there were hooks for towels and they fell multiple times and we could not stick them back to the wall. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen/dining area worked well.

We stayed at the property while doing the East End Garden tour. The location was fine and in a area that appears to be transitioning. There was a lot of partying and noise late at night in the street, and although we felt safe during the day, I would not be comfortable walking in the night time hours.The home was very clean and well furnished. The hosts were great with communicating and provided us with everything we needed. When determining if this is the right property for your group, there are some things to consider. As stated in previous posts, the loft area is tricky to ascend on the spiral staircase and would be best for children. The staircase is in the master suite. The 2 bedrooms on the second floor share a full bathroom but is only accessed through the master. Therefore, be sure you are all comfortable with the layout.

Wedding Weekend

We were a group of 4 women in town for a wedding. The house was as presented, and was a comfortable and convenient stay for all of us. Lots of extra space for other people, but two bathrooms for the four of us was ideal for us. Not five stars because there were some minor issues that really didn’t affect our stay, but Gordon was very responsive and open to our feedback for improvements for future guests. Lovely part of town with retail, restaurants and bars within walking distance or a short ride. It can get a little loud at night with some of the bars in the area, but we’d stay again if the opportunity arises.

Great location. The house was nice and well furnished. Just a couple of inconveniences to mention. There were painters when we arrived painting the front of the house. We had to walk on their tarp on the steps and under their ladder.The WiFi password was wrong on the email I received. It was a typo, which we figured out after a few minutes. There were two ceiling lights in the master bedroom that we could not figure out how to turn off the entire weekend. All of the light switches were were in weird locations, but we never found they one. Thankfully the lights were very dim so not a huge bother. As I said these were minor, and easily fixable.A girls weekend for the Allentown Art Festival that we thoroughly enjoyed. I would recommend!Judi

Great location in Allentown!

Great location to enjoy downtown Buffalo activities. House is well maintained and comfortable. Two full baths, one upstairs and one on the first floor. Note that third bedroom is a loft off the master bedroom accessed by a small spiral staircase - ok for kids but not so much for older adults. Overall we enjoyed the accommodations and felt safe in the neighborhood. The host was very responsive and accommodating.

Great Area but with conditions

Well I’m afraid this was a mixed bag - we rented it for the 2 baths and the sleeps eight however the layout made it so it really only slept 6 because the solo room was a bunk bed for kids and the loft was actually IN the master along with what we thought was a 3rd bedroom with a futon but that was also in the master suite making it impossible for both to be used by another couple. The Living room and dining area were nice with plenty of seating a large tv, the kitchen needed some help - the fridge water dispenser did not work the soap dispenser in the sink was broken and the steps to the second floor were very steep. The neighborhood was extremely noisy especially on the weekend nights. Bars sleep

Sabres Weekend

Enjoyed a fun weekend in Buffalo exploring the city and going to a Sabres game. The VRBO in Allentown was a great place to stay, conveniently located, and the hosts were very responsive!
