Beach Manor: Hidden Gem Lake Erie's Kelso Beach

Kelso Beach is a private beach community on Lake Erie located less than a mile from Presque Isle State Park.
Beach Manor is located on the second row of cottages, steps from the beach.
There is an outdoor patio facing the lake with a propane grill, picnic table and chairs for conversation. It's a lovely spot for dinner and drinks.
From the patio, step into the 4 season porch for a game of cards, quiet read or nap on the futon. The cozy living room has a wall mounted TV and two large leather couches perfect for a nighttime movie with family and friends.
The dining room has a generous dining table and is next to the kitchen that is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave and gas range.
The bedrooms all have new platform beds and new memory foam mattresses for a perfect nights sleep after a long day at the beach.
Other amenities included are central air conditioning, internet based cable, wireless internet and a washer and dryer with utility sink located off the kitchen.

Best beach house on Kelso beach

We really enjoyed staying at Beach Manor. It is a prefect fit for our family! We have been coming to Kelso Beach for over 40 years and Beach Manor is the best place we have stayed at! Our host Maggie was awesome and very helpful and quick to respond and answer any questions we had. We look forward to stay at Beach Manor again next year!

Wonderful property!

We had an amazing time! The house was clean, and everything was as described in the listing. It was very roomy with lots of great amenities. Also, a very quick walk to the beach! Kelso beach was beautiful and our children enjoyed playing with all the other kids. The owner Maggie was very attentive to our needs, and easy to get in touch with. Cannot wait to stay at this property again.

Last visit

this is our last visit after more then 15 years. First we were met at the gated community check in, only to find there were no guards any more.extra parkers in your party had no fees ( a good thing for them) but not a good thing as overflow parking had no security up top. Next we were met bu a large (tall) wooden fence, erected by the owners of the property next door. Blocking our view. Years prior, the direct walkway was blocked to the lake. We managed that. Each year we would book ahead forr the next year as we liked it so much, but the price for the week had become too high for this retired couple. We hope that the owners across the walkway will enjoy next years rowdy tenets for the 4th of July weekend. This is the first negative review i have ever given. Thank you for years of memories with our family.

Great vacation home

This home is wonderful. We had 3 adults, 16 yr old and two 12 yr olds. Lots of room. 6 bedrooms, 2 and 1/2 baths( also an outside shower to get that sand off). Big kitchen and dining room, which we used constantly. We cook most meals in. Kitchen has everying you need. Big gas stove, big fridge, all pots and pans, toaster, blender, espresso machine(didn't use), coffee maker, all plates, cups, glasses, silverware, garbage disposal, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Everything was clean, included dish towels, bath towels, beach towels, and all bed linens. My favorite part of the house is the sun room facing the lake. Beautiful view of lake, great place to read, relax, table to play games at, wine fridge which we stored pop in. Back porch is great to sit on in evening, talk to neighbors, keep all beach accessories on, cook on the industrial gas grill. Beach is wonderful. We stay in Kelso beach everytime we come and there is no better beach in Erie. Beach glass on your own beach!!! We had fires on the beach at night for smores. Close to all parts of Erie. This is the home you want to stay in!!!!! Maggie was so great, very attentive and kind. Thank you for sharing your beautiful beach home with our family!!!! We had a wonderful family vacation, lots of memories!!!

Family Reunion

Beach Manor is clean and comfy. We have rented it in the past and were thrilled when we found it again on VRBO. Perfect place for a family get together.

Family fun

this is about our 12th year in this rental unit. We have been through many changes to the property, all of them good. This last summer we thought we had lost our summer get away, when they changed rental company's. We were extremely disappointed, but then one day there it was on vbro. A click of a button and we had our family fun back.

Multi-generational Gem!

For our family gathering, Beach Manor was just perfect! From the fully equipped kitchen to sand toys & beach towels provided, we had everything needed for a great stay. The little ones enjoyed the beach while the older family members appreciated the peaceful patio and sunroom. The large dining table was great for meals as well as the table in the sunroom and picnic table outdoors, so everyone had a spot to eat! The TV's were perfect for the late evening after viewing the gorgeous sunsets! Location was ideal for exploring Erie and beyond. It was easy to shop local as everything you needed was conveniently located. The weather during our stay was simply perfect, so we could take advantage of Waldemeer and the Zoo. Our host thought of everything to make for a wonderful vacation! Thanks for the chocolate samples and wine upon our arrival. Whenever we might return to Erie, we'd try to stay here again!
