Sandy Feet Retreat is family-friendly located in Rookery III. This is a perfect location to unwind and relax with family and friends. This cozy and spacious home has a screened-in porch to view nature. 0.5 mile to beach access with beautiful white sands. The complex has 2 pools and a clubhouse. The kitchen is set up for your cooking needs or you can head out to a local bar/grill or restaurant. Close to golf courses, ferry to Dauphin Island. The home is also close to Fort Morgan for the history buff, Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge, Dauphin Island ferry to Fort Gaines, bird sanctuary, and aquatic learning center for kids. Dolphin cruises from the Wharf,fishing charters,etc.We are dog friendly and so is the beach by us. Contact us for snowbird discount rates for November through February. We enjoy hosting snowbirds and offer pricing.

Great location near the beach with easy access for my elderly mother with only 4-5 steps to get in. There were wonderful beach chairs and an umbrella for us to use. Pet friendly as well. We had a great time and a pleasant surprise was our dog was welcomed on the beach in fort Morgan. Would certainly recommend.

Great stay, responsive host

We really enjoyed our stay! Our host was very responsive and helpful. Also, Ft Morgan was a great escape from the busy hustle and bustle of the Gulf Shores while remaining accessible to all the amenities. We loved Tacky Jacks just down the road.

Perfect Spot to Relax

We booked this rental for over 2 months while we were relocating and looking for a home of our own. We brought our dog and the host was very accommodating and responsive to our needs. The location is beautiful and a short walk to the beach and its very dog friendly. The rental was clean and inviting. Plenty of room for 6 or more guests. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and grill was available also. We loved the private screened in porch in the back to enjoy morning coffee and evening cocktails. Don’t hesitate to book this rental, you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect family cottage

Our family trip to Sandy Feet Retreat was wonderful! It was very comfortable and enjoyable. The host was very helpful with information about the amenities and beach access . We enjoyed how nice the rooms were decorated and furnished and the bunk room was very helpful for our children. We loved the quiet nature views of the screened in back porch and the proximity to the pool was very convenient. There were plenty of towels and wash cloths and blankets for all of us and the nice washer and dryer were a huge help. The wireless and tv/dvd was easy to use as well. It was nice to borrow the beach toys and boogie boards that were there to use. We had to drive to the beach because the walk was too far for our children and with beach toys and such but we always found parking at the public access easily going earlier in the morning and after dinner . We did not have a golf cart but could see how renting one might be very helpful in getting to the beach from the cottage. Overall the cottage was just to our liking , serene, clean, private, and well furnished . We would like to come again!

House was nice and clean. Pools were close enough to walk to with ease. Rockery lll was a little too far to walk to the beach with any beach items. We just hopped iin the car and drove.

Fort Morgan retreat.

We were looking for a getaway from an upper Midwest winter that our kids and their families could retreat to as well when they could. We chose Gulf Shores/ Fort Morgan because we had never been there before and we wanted to be near the Gulf but not on high rise road. The home was very large and accommodated us well with three huge bedrooms and 2 large baths. This rental was perfect with plenty to do for the month we were there: golf, zoo, railroad museum, fresh seafood markets, BEACH!, GULF STATE PARK!!!! Oyster po-boys, OYSTER po-boys!!!! Oysters, great restaurants, plenty of time to read, TIME WITH FAMILY, Bon Secour NWR especially Pine Ridge Trail (saw a rattlesnake!), Historic Fort Morgan. The owner was super attentive and responsive!!! Thanks again for a great month!

Wonderful!

The cottage was clean, plenty of towels provided! Warm welcoming colors, loved the screen porch! Lots of privacy. We were close to the ocean yet off the beaten path. Wonderful place for pets and owners. Room enough for a few grandkids 😁 Would definitely recommend!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This home was an ideal location for us away from the crowds of "in town" tourists spots.We chose to be in the more laid back area of Fort Morgan due to home being ideally located in the Bon Secour Nature Reserve and 1/2 mile to the beautiful beach which is less crowded that in town.There are multiple restaurants in the area,and grocery stores close by as well as the Dauphin Island Ferry.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The home is located in a complex of all cottage style properties with 2 pools,club house,and surrounded by nature reserve. The beach access is a 2 minutes drive,10 minute walk,or a 5 minute golf cart ride(rental). The beaches are gorgeous and less crowded than in town Gulf Shores and the beach on Cortez street is leashed pet friendly. We set the home up to be inviting and not cluttered. We provide chairs,umbrella,and a wagon for the beach as well as sand toys for the kids. Many enjoy sitting in the screen porch to listen to nature and often can hear the waves in the distance.
