Spacious "The Lodge" 3 bed 2 bath w/Pool and plenty of Boat or RV parking!!

Come stay at "The Lodge". This home was recently renovated and themed after a Safari Lodge. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms along with a covered patio and a private screened in pool. The home sits on over an acre and has a private firepit area and a sitting area overlooking the fenced in back yard. There is a ping pong table and several bikes that can be used for the nearby bike trails or to ride downtown. The property sits near a city park, dog park and walking trails. There are lake views from the pool deck. The property has ample parking for RVs, boats or several cars.

Everything was fine it was clean it had plenty of room decorated nice lady the yard was really nice pool was nice I only will more than one but my most serious complaint was the front door the lock just did not does not work we put our little dog in there to get other stuff out of the car and the door come open by itself and he went out and my husband fell twice while trying to catch the little dog. Anyway other than that it really the kitchen really isn't that well equipped the cookware should be thrown out and replaced with some other things. Location is great close to all kinds of restaurants things to do downtown we enjoyed all of that plenty of parking enjoyed our state except for we had to go buy toilet paper paper towels and Reynolds Wrap because I would not cook in that baking pan it was horrible. Other than that we loved it it just needs some TLC.

We stayed here for 10 days while visiting with family that live in the area. The house was very comfortable and dog friendly. We loved the pool and the peacefulness out back. I told my husband, “I could totally live here.”The quality of the bed can make or break my vacation and I will say that I slept great ! We thoroughly enjoyed the town and people of Mount Dora, and hope to visit again soon.

Wonderful weekend!

Me and 3 of my best friends get together every few months to celebrate life. This weekend was so very special because we also attended an event in Mt Dora which raised money for a foundation we are all a part of that raises awareness and support for cancer screenings. We lost our dear friend to a rare form of cancer in October of last year. This house and our time together was so special and the weekend so precious. Thank you for providing us such a peaceful home for us to celebrate Karla and over 100 years of friendship combined.

Loved this place

We enjoyed our stay is this spacious house. Everything was as descibed in the listing. The host was great to work with and responded in a timely manner. Loved the scrapbook they had with local places to eat and tourist attractions. Would stay at again.

Nice getaway

The Lodge is a nice home in a very quiet neighborhood on amazing property! It’s three bedrooms two baths, but you should be aware that the second bathroom is outside in the garage area. The kitchen was well equipped. Nice small dining area. The living room was large and had a leather sofa and loveseat. They are quite old and worn and a bit difficult for us to feel comfortable when sitting and trying to get up from such a low couch! (I would respectfully suggest upgrading that furniture very soon.) In contrast, the bed in the main bedroom was so high, that I needed a stepstool to get up into the bed! But once I got up there, it was very comfortable. Great closet space throughout with plenty of hangers. The main bathroom was small – very little counterspace for toiletries, but it was very clean and nice. The pool area is fantastic! Good size swimming pool that we enjoyed night and day. Really appreciated that. The AC worked great with ceiling fans in all the rooms. Great TVs in all the rooms. And the grounds of the house are wonderful – fruit trees, palm trees & flowers, & a tiki hut with deck overlooking little Lake Franklin. A really special place. Mount Dora itself is just beautiful and we look forward to coming back to both the house and the sweet town.

Peaceful Getaway

Great quiet neighborhood for peaceful getaway. Close enough to downtown. House was great, pool was perfect with very large covered porch. Would definitely stay there again.

Mt. Dora visit

This place was absolutely wonderful!!! It was close to everything. Took 40 minutes to Disney Springs. The house was beautiful and had everything! We were able to grill the last night for family. The pool was great as well. We will def. Be back!!!

Great Stay

This rental was perfect for my family and infant granddaughter. Came to Mount Dora to see my granddaughter graduate from the high school. We didn't realize when we rented the house, we were able to walk to the graduation. Steve is a great host. He replied to my messages promptly. We would definitely stay again.
