It is a beautiful and spacious home. My husband and I especially liked the sitting area in the master bedroom, we want to get away for some quiet time. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Perfect Midland location

I have stayed in this property multiple times. It is plenty large, and has fantastic common areas. It is very centrally located, within 5-10 minutes from anywhere in Midland. The host, Steven, was very responsive.

Dive Meet

We were in town for a dive meet. There were 5 of us and our dog. It provided us plenty of room to relax and was close to the Natatorium.

Fantastic mini mansion!

If you want a place with lots of rooms and amenities this is the one. Located in the heart of Midland you have quick access to everything. Plus, Steven is the greatest host by far. Responsive, professional and friendly is his nature.

Visit Grandchildren

Selected this property based on its size and location. The location of this property was ideal. Very close to grocery stores and restaurants. The house was very nice and had plenty of room for my 3 grandchildren and their parents. Had nice courtyards to sit and for using the grill for burgers and dogs. I would stay again.

The most flexible host ever!

Steven contacted me prior to our arrival to offer an upgrade due to a problem with the originally booked house. We particularly needed a king sized bed and so he changed again to a third house. It was lovely and in a newer, upscale neighborhood. He responded instantly the few times I needed to be in touch, and always happily helped. I can’t say enough about how nice the house was and how nice he was! It was a perfect experience. We were so comfortable there that we had our two granddaughters (6 & 8) spend two of the three nights with us. Thanks again Steven!

Should have said "oil field friendly"

Property was very run down, stains on carpet, stains on walls, stains on doors. Linens were not clean. Lots of left over stuff from previous visitors, shampoo/soaps/ect. No coffee pot, dishwasher was not properly mounted and there was lots of "building" materials stored throughout the property. Overall it work, as we just needed a place to sleep but it would have been miserable had we intended to eat and be there more.

Beautiful home

The architecture of this home was beautiful, it was so Sad to see the shape it was in . Carpets filthy , open food in cabinets , dishwasher destroyed , showers were nasty . Water leak under the kitchen sinks , windows in the front bedroom that would not lock We feared for our safety. Window seals that had at least 2 inches of dust and debris on them . Chase lounge in living room that smelled like urine . I told the homeowner I would fire the house keeper .

The Unexpected

The Ups: The decor is awesome, lots of conversational pieces. The layout of the house (that I saw) is pretty neat. Great location!! Host was very responsive. Only thing that made this stay great was The Blue Door bar down the street. Go check it out! The Downs: The first room off to the left: The shower fixture needs to be replaced, it was hanging off of the wall and the head falls off when in use. Get rid of the carpets throughout the house!!! We had to wear our shoes inside of the home due to feet turning black on bottom. We don’t wear shoes inside our own home, so that was a struggle. Please replace mattress protectors. The kitchen sink leaked all over the floor when we did dishes. Dishwasher was broke, owner did have a handyman scheduled day of our arrival, but he cancelled it when half of party arrived around checkin. That should have been done prior to our arrival. I booked days in advance. I would say better cleaning throughout the kitchen inside drawers and cabinets. We prewashed everything we used. There was lice shampoo inside a cabinet next to the stove.? The washing machine was being replaced day of arrival, handyman was there when half of party showed up. I had to clean that out prior to use. The dog nextdoor barked pretty much every 30 mins during the night, I got 2 hrs of sleep. Many of us were woken up. Pretty sure the dog was kept outside, very sad. Not controllable by host, but a nuisance. Wasn’t worth the price I paid for 1 night.

Pets allowed but yard not secure to allow them to run in yard. Definitely not cleaned to VRBO standards (trash in cans, dirt and leaves along walls, kitchen sink dirty) strong sewer smell in all bathrooms. Removed pillow cases to wash and was absolutely shocked at stains etc. on bare pillow. Email check in had to be corrected by host (changed codes & location of Wifi router). Host scheduled a plumber at 1030 on check out day, check out at 1100.
