Looking to experience the vibrant coastal charm of Virginia Beach without the hassle of traffic and crowds? This cozy bungalow apartment is the perfect retreat. Just steps from the ocean and tucked away in a peaceful residential area, it offers the best of both worlds—tranquility and easy access to the lively resort district. Relax on the screened-in second-story porch while enjoying the refreshing ocean breeze. For outdoor enthusiasts, First Landing State Park is just down the street, offering scenic trails for hiking and running through lush woodlands.

This apartment has 1 bedroom with a queen bed, 1 full bathroom, living room with a sleeper sofa and a TV, and a newly renovated kitchen. Located on the 2nd floor and has a private entrance. There is free street parking, as well as a small yard and patio. Guests have access to shared bikes and a grill. Linens and towels are included.

When submitting your booking request, please include the nature of your travel, and number and age of your guests. Thank you in advance!

Some things to note:
GUEST ACCESS:
-- Check-in is at 4:00 pm and check out at 10:00 am. We love to host, so we have a high turnover rate, and our cleaners strictly adhere to this schedule to accommodate.
-- A door code will be sent to you a week before your arrival.

AMENITIES:
We provide fresh linens, towels, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels & trash can liners. *THINK OF THESE ITEMS AS “STARTER KITS” - Highly recommend you bring additional items such as coffee/cooking spray/water bottles etc*.

PARKING:
There is some private parking, and a detailed map will be sent upon booking. Additional details regarding public parking options will also be provided.

KITCHEN:
Fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and all the basic kitchen essentials; Pots/Pans/Plates/Cups/Utensils

CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES:
We ask that you leave everything in the home as you found it, strip the linens from the beds, run the dishwasher, and take trash to the bins on the street. This will ensure the quality of the home for the next guest and expedite the cleaning.

REFUNDS:
Highly recommend trip insurance. We do not give refunds due to the weather.

PETS:
We are dog-friendly for pets 20 lbs and under. We kindly ask that your dog is kept secure when you are away from the home, and that you clean up after them. $100 non refundable pet fee will be assessed after booking is confirmed.

We had a nice stay. As stated by other people, the bathroom is very small. We didn't mind though. The screened in porch was our favorite. The walk to the beach take just a few minutes.

Beach rustic

The bathroom was very small and cramped. It lacked an outlet needed for drying hair or shaving. It was in need of an overhaul. The closet where we put our clean clothes contained a vacuum and other cleaning equipment. The sofa was not big enough for two small adults. The television did not have cable or any usable channels. The lights were too dim for reading. There were not enough towels for a four night stay. The rug in the living room was more like a cloth and was a trip hazzard. This unit was very disappointing.

Very small bathroom

This property was clean, cute and compact. The hosts provided good communication. I was very disappointed that the bathroom did not have any electrical outlet at all which made drying your hair impossible.

Virgina Beach was great. But the view of this property was terrible.

This was a cute little apartment/condo. But small, I don’t usually care about this size but the bathroom was extremelyy small. There was still crumbs on the stove and sand all on the floors. The worst part was the view! Our front deck area faced another home (you are in someone’s backyard). It didn’t feel private what so ever when you were outside. They also gave us 1 towel each for the whole time we spent there. I asked previously if they offered towels, and they said yes. If I knew it meant 1, I would have brought more, because there was no washer and dryer. Also, the walk was definitely way longer than a 3 minutes to the shore. Maybe 3 mins to cross the major rd to get to the walkway to the beach. The lights in the house were so dim. I know it’s not a big deal, but there was only one tiny mirror in the bathroom. So thank goodness I didn’t care what I looked like for the week. Virgina beach was great though. I loved the vibe. I did like the fact that the host had bikes. One bike was broken and didn’t work, but they had extras. The host also did seem very nice, but they had jobs for us to do at the end of our stay. Strip all the beds, take all the trash out, even bring it to the road if we are there on specific days etc. We pay for a cleaning lady/person. Just little things like that were kind of annoying. I’ve always had a great experience with my stay aways. But to be honest I would never stay here again.

The North End is the neighborhood at the north end of the beaches on the Atlantic Ocean right before the coastline turns west into the Chesapeake Bay. It's about 3 miles long and two blocks wide, so matter where you are, you're less than two blocks from the beach.
