Truly one of the best VRBO experiences we’ve ever had! We are frequent travelers and this property was one of the best we’ve seen. The kitchen is well stocked with ingredients and cookware (which is rare) and the entire house was clean and spacious. The hot tub was a huge plus! Lots of room for cars to park too. Oh, there are also instructions for everything! Quiet street for sleeping. Wonderful set up all around.

Great for families or sports fans

Spacious, very clean house, thoughtfully laid out and equipped. One block away is a park with a playground and paved one-mile path. MANY TVs, a big finished basement game room and sports decor everywhere. Close to restaurants in Royal Oak and neighboring suburbs. The host communicates well and is very accommodating. Excellent experience.

Excellent place to stay.

The Linwood house was really clean! This is a newer home in Royal Oak and it is nice! Privacy in the backyard. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. The living/dining/kitchen area is very open and spacious. Finished basement with full bath.We had seven adults and everyone really loved this house. liked this house. I’m certain we’d love to get this same place the next time we meet up in the Detroit area. It was perfect! Special thanks to Brian, the owner who always answered our questions promptly and even checked to see how our stay was going.

A Truly Exceptional Stay

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this property, and I can confidently say it was the best rental experience I've ever had. Having stayed at many properties over the years, this one truly stands out.The layout of the home was perfect for our group, providing ample space to gather, share meals, and enjoy each other’s company. I was especially impressed with how well-stocked the kitchen was. Unlike many places where kitchen utensils and appliances are sparse, this one had everything we needed—from measuring cups to bottle openers and essential cooking tools. The kitchen also featured high-quality appliances, including a microwave, toaster, toaster oven, and blender, making meal prep easy.The attention to detail was also remarkable. Soap dispensers were fully stocked with liquid soap, shampoo, and body wash, and the towels were plush and abundant. The dĂ©cor was inviting, and the Welcome Basket was a lovely touch.Check-in was seamless, and I appreciated the minimal checkout instructions, which made the departure process stress-free.While our visit was under sad circumstances (a funeral), the home provided a warm and welcoming environment that made our stay memorable. If we're ever in the area again, we will undoubtedly choose to stay here. Thank you to our hosts for offering such a wonderful place to stay.

Well done!

I wanted to book a place for my family all to come together and spend a few nights and just have some fun and catch a hockey game. From check-in time through checkout time it was nothing but a pleasurable experience. A couple of hiccups, minor, that were immediately solved by the owners. Everything that was listed and promised was delivered and then some. Would definitely recommend this place. It’s not exactly in the middle of what’s going on, but it’s close enough to everything and it was worth a little bit of driving for the experience. The whole home was well thought out.

Beautiful stay in Royal Oak

This was such a wonderful property and house to stay at. Fully stocked kitchen was great for cooking, lots of options for activities for those stay-in nights, and a hot ton to top it all off. Great communication with the host made this stay quite enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Fantastic house - great for a group

We stayed here for a long football weekend - 6 adults. House was immaculate. Host has appointed the house with everything you’ll need to a comfortable stay. Also, great communication ahead of time and check in/check out was very clear. Would certainly stay here again and would recommend.

Definitely 5 STARS!

Where to even start? I am actually from the area an came to town for a funeral. We needed last minute accommodations however my family has grown in recent years so 8-10 (with littles) is a lot to ask of a relative. My parents were traveling with me & very new to the VBRO experience. And when I say new...not on board at all. After reviewing about 10 properties my mom found one she was willing to stay in. Brian made this process so easy and was so accommodating. It was a stressful time but to be somewhere that my family (especially the littles) felt safe, had plenty of space and within a 5-10 drive to restaurants, grocery stores everything. Man that really made a sad trip comfortable. I have stayed in a few VBRO's but this had every amenity you could think of and really felt like home. Brian checked on us daily! So attentive. The hot tub was CLUTCH! I wish we had more time to enjoy it. I need to come back when it warmer so I can sit outside too! The neighborhood was safe and quite. The couple neighbors we did see were friendly. Not only did my parent (and family) have a great experience they want to book a VBRO for our next family trip and the next time we come to town we for sure will be trying to book this property again! My only and when I say only recommendation is perhaps some board games for when you get tired of the TV or Ping Pong. And a baby gate for the littles if possible. Overall loved it!

Michigan home away from home

This home did not disappoint! Very clean everything you could think of even coffee when we arrived! New, huge wonderfully decorated home. We came right after Christmas and they still had the tree up which was awesome because we were celebrating an extended Christmas. Would definitely recommend!!

Amazing Accommodations for the Entire Family

This house was perfect for the entire family. Brian was a phenomenal host and made sure we had everything we needed. Our family ranges from 10 weeks old to 63 years old and Brian had everything we needed in the house. Thank you again!

Beautiful House/Great Stay!

The house was absolutely beautiful and in a great location! The check-in process was smooth, and communication with Brian was great! The only snafu we had was that the electricity was out when we arrived. This was beyond the owner's control (due to storms), but the owner kept on top of things and was in contact with the electric company & kept us updated! We enjoyed our stay, and will probably look into staying again!

Fantastic Stay!

This was an absolutely fantastic house for myself, my daughter and i. We arrived to a very cut welcome basket and wines. There was very helpful instruction and communication throughout our stay about the house. There were games and a great home theater. As well, the house was beyond clean. My husband and I are germaphobes and we completely felt comfortable. 100% will be staying there again.

Great property!

This property was wonderful and perfect for our family. This was a very spacious house with ample space throughout the house for people to hang out. The movie room in the basement was extremely comfortable, the office was a wonderful bonus, and the hot tub was so relaxing. We really enjoyed our time here!

I graduated as a Michigan State Spartan in 2009 (go green!) and after college I’ve spent time in both the Midwest and East Coast. I previously lived in Chicago for 3 years and I've spent the last 10 years living in NYC (currently reside in the Financial District).

I own and operate 2 immaculate rental properties in Royal Oak. My wonderful parents help me run both properties, which they love doing as it keeps them busy (both are retired and live in Michigan).
