The home is very clean and updated for an older home. It is on a busy street but the noise wasn’t bad. The basement utilized the space as much as possible with the video games, pool table, movie area and full bathroom. We didn’t use the hot tub area outside due to weather and being busy. The home does come with the essentials but I do suggest bringing any specific cooking items you may need like oils, spray, butter, etc. There is a store not far from the house as well. I also suggest bringing a two pronged extension cord if you have additional items needing charged versus three prong. If you get a chance check out the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village located right next to the museum.Enjoy your stay!

The host was very responsive and kind throughout our stay, and the house itself was lovely. It was a beautiful property with a lot of fun amenities that we were really looking forward to enjoying.Unfortunately, the power went out for the entire afternoon on the only full day we had at the property. Since so many of the amenities depended on electricity, we weren’t able to enjoy them at all during our stay. We completely understand that a power outage is outside of the owner’s control, and we certainly don’t fault the host for the outage itself.That said, given the circumstances, we were disappointed that there was no gesture of any kind to acknowledge the inconvenience. This was one of the pricier homes in the area, and because we lost the majority of the time we had to actually enjoy the property, we essentially paid a premium rate to use the bedrooms and bathrooms.Even something small as a good-faith gesture would have gone a long way toward making us feel that the inconvenience was recognized and appreciated. The property is lovely and the host was kind and responsive, but the lack of any acknowledgment or compensation after losing an entire afternoon was disappointing.

A Home Away From Home

The home was exactly as described and even exceeded expectations. I appreciate the kindness of the host and the comfort of the house for me and my family. The home was in a nice location and very close to Detroit and it was easy to get to downtown. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome place!

Our stay was wonderful. The place was exactly as it was listed, pictures and all. The staff was very responsive. The house is so cute inside. Added bonus using the hot tub and watching movies on the projector in the basement. Will stay here again!!!

Great home!

We truly enjoyed our stay here! The home is amazingly decorated and the space is utilized perfectly! My family enjoyed playing the games and watching movies with the projector! The house is small but they made such great use of the space! You really feel like you’re staying in luxury! We will definitely stay here again!

Host is very responsive and accommodating. Property was spotless and updated. There was some construction going on while we there but nothing too bad. I would definitely recommend this property for groups.

Adorable and full of amenities!

This home is so adorable! Beautifully decorated and for our family with kids, full of amenities that kids want; game room, movie theater and hot tub! We did have some difficulty getting the sound bar to work, but our host was quick to reply with instructions. Location is next to a park with playground, which was an added bonus. Good location!

Great for a family with a bunch of children 5-15 years.

The game room with the pool table and multiple game machines was a way for the group to hang out. The grandson thought the attic for his own kingdom was fantastic. Very clean. Hot tub very pleasant. Beds really comfy. Every time we interacted with the host he was extremely pleasant and helpful. Pool table was OK for the kids messing around. Way better than a couple hotel rooms!
