This place was just perfect for the 2 of us and our 2 labs, more spacious than I expected from the pictures, rooms were very clean and nicely decorated, the in floor heat was comfy, we liked the quiet neighborhood, very beautiful location in the hills north of Fairbanks, we would definitely reserve this place again.

We stayed twice in one trip! This cabin was so cozy and clean. There was a lovely welcome basket and note. My heart was full when I saw the coffee corner!!!The beds were comfy and not so tall! With the forest all around you and the fireweed and other flowers blooming, it was just a perfect Alaskan getaway. We can't wait to return.

Great location and easy drive into town.Very clean. The only thing that you will need to prepare for is that this cabin is on a water tank so you will have to monitor and limit your water usage. There are a couple of minor adjustments that need to be repaired on the bathroom door but we made do. It does have an outdoor fire ring for either a campfire or outdoor cooking.

Hi Curtis, thanks for your review. You mentioned the issue with cabin having a water tank that you have to monitor and limit water usage. While we encourage water conservation we only ask that guests let us know when the tank is getting low so we can have more water delivered the next day to ensure you always have plenty of water. We know the bathroom door doesn’t align perfectly throughout the year with temperature changes and the cabin adjusting, this is why we have added a secondary lock on the inside of the door. Spacious and cozy stay.

My family and I had a great visit to Fairbanks and enjoyed coming back to this spacious, updated, and well-equipped cabin each night. It was also very easy to communicate with Carol before and during our visit. We hope to stay again in the future!

The cabin location was perfect for our adventures while here. It is so cute, clean and many extra amenities. If we were to come back to this part of Alaska, we would definitely stay here again!

Highly Recommend!! Very clean and comfortable. The host does a great job with the little details to the personalized welcome sign to the variety of snacks waiting for us. There was everything you needed for a long stay. We actually seen the northern lights from the rental. Location was great as well.

A lovely very well equipped cabin perfect for any short getaway. Comfy bed, all amenities, wifi worked well and so did appliances. More cutlery and crockery needed if more than 3 peopme staying here. I'd stay here again if in the area. Communication fast and efficient.

Quiet and Secluded

This was a wonderful cabin for a stay near Fairbanks, located in a quiet spot just a few miles away from all the attractions. The cabin layout is spacious and functional. Very highly recommended.

The cabin was very spacious. It was stocked with all the basics and more! Bed was comfortable. Quite spot and not too far from town. Great host that go out of their way to assist.

Great place in Fairbanks!

House was Very nice and clean. It was nice that we didn’t have to pay for the use of the washing machine. The owner was willing to work with us on a change of plans. I would stay again and I recommend this house to anyone needing a place to stay in the Fairbanks area!

It was exactly as described. It had everything we needed for the 8 days we were there. We had a question and the host answered it within minutes. Beautiful area and you can get to all most anything in about 30 minutes. Country living at it's best.

Cozy cabin

The cabin was clean and smelled good. There was Wi-Fi, Netflix, Uno, cards, etc. to keep us entertained. There was a personalized welcome board for us when we got there. The bed and couch were very comfortable and coffee, tea, bottled water, popcorn, other snacks were also provided for free. The area was quiet and we had a relaxing, close to nature stay. We would rent the same cabin if we get back in the area.

We loved it! The only thing was the dogs who live next door. If they heard or saw us they started barking. But that is something you can’t control

Good chance to stretch out and relax

House provided everything you needed except we have a dog traveling with us. There was not much area to walk the dog and no easy access to trails. House was very comfortable with a couple of recliners to stretch out in.

Nice location and facility

Enjoyed our time, great location close to many trails. Private location and easy to get in and around Fairbanks. Kitchen pretty good, we brought some of our own things for cooking as we did full meals including baking bread when we stay in cabins. Only surprise for us was having to watch our water usage pretty closely. Though they do have good equipment so you can monitor how much you are using. Since we are active, did Laundry and cook it was a bit tight for us water wise. Probably ok for most people.

Thanks for the review, I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay. I’m sorry you thought you could only use what water was in the tank. We do ask guests to conserve water, but the water monitor is more for us to know if we need to add water before the next scheduled delivery, since the tank is underground. However it is a little harder to monitor that for extended stays. Sorry for any confusion.

We have an amazing view of the Aurora when sky’s are clear. You can see them from the cabin while you sit around a fire.
