This home is in a fantastic location. It's charming, clean,very well decorated and only steps to the beach. The street to the home is very quite and has an Old Florida charm with Live Oak trees growing over as a beautiful canopy.The path to the beach is breath taking as you stroll thruPalm tree's to a very private beach.

We love "A Slice of Paradise!" Quiet neighborhood with nice neighbors. The house has everything we need. This was our second stay, and we will be back!

Beach Paradis

This is our third stay at the property. We absolutely love the home, the pool, the privacy and walking distance to the gorgeous beach!

Fantastic Vaction

We had a fantastic time at Slice of Paradise. The home was very clean and had everything needed for our stay. We spend everyday at the beach which is just a short walk away. The neighbors were all very friendly and we enjoyed speaking with them. Very quiet area within a short drive to many restaurants and other stores. Great vacation and great time at Slice of Paradise

Great beach escape!

The house was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The street is very quiet and the beach is a just short walk down the street and was exceptionally beautiful. Vero Beach is a great town, nothing was more than 10 minutes away from the house: great shopping, restaurants, and a wonderful farmers market on Saturdays! We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Going home

Staying at this property was nostalgic for me, as I grew up in a house nearby. A Slice of Paradise provided our family with very comfortable spaces - large bedrooms and 2 sitting areas, as well as the patio area to spread out. We loved the modern fixtures and appliances in the very welcoming, homey property. We hope to come back soon for another stay!

Excellent location steps from quiet beach

We were very pleased with our stay at 'Slice of Paradise' - if anything, the description under-sold the property. The home was just the right size, with spacious rooms and patio/lanai. Most of the interior seems to be recently renovated and feels very comfortable. The best thing is the location - close enough to Vero Beach (but not in the midst of it) and just steps down the dirt road to a great beach. Homeowner provided floats, beach chairs and a pull-along cart to make it even easier. We'll be sure to check availability here first when we next visit the area!

A Slice of Paradise

Well named property. Beautifully updated Florida cottage with a very short walk to the nearly vacant beach. Quiet, private backyard with lanai and pool. We spent our 40th wedding anniversary here and were quite content. Even had a small dinner party for my 92 yr. old uncle who lives in Vero. Kitchen was well stocked and there is a very nice gas grill where we cooked up some ribs for the dinner. The weather was perfect and the house met all our needs. Short drive to main street, grocery stores and all the fine restaurants. Explored Ft. Pierce and the Vero Botanical Gardens. My husband played two rounds of golf, while I walked the beach and read 3 books. Quiet neighborhood and lovely area. Easy check in and out. Garage to store your vehicle. Beach cart with chairs and umbrellas, along with boogie boards. We truly enjoyed our stay and made it our temporary "Slice of Paradise!"

Vero Beach

It's always nice to check-in and the property matches or exceeds the expectations based on the listing, and this was one of those instances.The house was clean and looked to have had recent updates to the bathrooms and appliances. The kitchen has everything you need including full sets of matching silverware, pots & pans. The spice cabinet was not overflowing with multiples of random spices that have been there who knows how long. House was well stocked with paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher pods, TP, towels, etc. All seemingly minor things but very appreciated compared to what you get at some places.The pool and beach were a great combo throughout our stay. Our boys would have a breakfast session in the pool before we headed to the beach for the day. There were umbrellas, chairs, and toys in the garage and a beach wagon to haul your stuff down the quiet, gravel lane to the beach access. The beach was nice and mellow except for walkers here and there. Going back to the house mid-day for lunch by the pool was the move to simplify what was needed on the beach.One of the highlights was the sea turtles coming on the beach at night to nest. Each night we went out a little after 10pm, there were tracks leading from the water to a crater in the sand with a mama turtle working hard to cover her hatch. It was cool to see, and a lot less threatening than the wildlife we see back home in Colorado.Access to town, stores, and restaurants was convenient.Would do it all again!

Truly a slice of Paradise!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE everything about Slice of Paradise! I cannot say enough about this property, the location, and the property manager! Before arrival, we were sent a digital house book with all the pertinent information. As soon as we turned onto Pelican Lane we knew we were in for a treat! The road leading to the house is idyllic. The house and property are well maintained and the house was SPOTLESS upon arrival. You can tell this property is well-loved as there was nothing we needed! The kitchen was well-appointed, all the beds were made and plenty of towels were available! There were pool toys, beach toys, chairs, and even a beach cart! The beach is a short walk away down a beautiful path lined with palm trees. Not only is the pool amazing but having it caged allowed us to enjoy it all day and evening without getting eaten by mosquitoes! There was an issue with the air conditioning one evening and the property manager, Angela, had maintenance personnel at the house to fix the issue in 2 hours! Angela was extremely helpful in the booking process and very responsive while we were there! We did not want to leave and cannot wait to return next summer! You cannot go wrong staying at Slice of Paradise!
